Program is frozen and will not work

Uninstalled. Reinstalled twice. The same problem. After the suggestion of support that I deleted the profile folder. Now that the program does not start. Download the message that the profile folder is missing. PC is Win 8.1. My other PC 8.1 works fine with Thunderbird. Follow-up: Solved the problem.

I deleted the contents for the ImapMail file in profile.  Then copied the contents for the same file from the working version on my other Win8.1 PC.

Came out the gel loop for a while. Then have server timeout message. Close the program and restart it. Requested the password. Entry and everything works fine. Problem solved. If I don't have a working profile to copy, I know not how I would have solved this as re-setup and remove the profile has failed. Just happy to be back running.

    Following methods and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

    Start your computer in safe mode and check if it starts very well.

    Step 2:

    If the system starts in safe mode, then there would be a third-party software, causing the issue to occur. I wish that you start your machine in a clean boot State. Clean boot helps eliminate conflicts of third party software.

    Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

    Method 2:

    If this does not help, you can perform System Restore in safe mode.

    If you have the 32-bit version of Windows 7, you might be able to run it in compatibility mode.  If you have the 64-bit version, you would need something like XP Mode.  XP mode requires you to have the Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate version.  You can use the Anytime Upgrade If you are not one of these.  Graphics mode XP are not suitable for fast action games, but I get 1360 x 760 with 16 bit color, when I enlarge the window XP Mode.  It's good enough for most applications.

    An external CSS file must be written in CSS only (no html tag like,,etc.).

    It must also have a .css file extension, if yours has an extension .html, that it will not work.

    I'll assume that your question is in fact to return to the physical optical drive (rather than the image of McAfee), does not actually uninstall McAfee.

    Right click on the D: drive and eject it. Then go to the Virtual Machine > CD/DVD and select use physical disk drive. It is documented in the release notes to the title of "The rest McAfee antivirus ISO mounted".

    This link here explains how you start in safe mode on your PC model. Follow this link and to inform the community if you have any questions. That's what we're here for.
    Also if you have any extra keyboard in your House, I think it would be a good idea to UN plug your keyboard present and connect your keyboard very different (even if your computer is off course).
    And my final advice is to follow this link and it is on the site of Dell Drivers. Type the information he needs, and it will display the "engines" of your computer uses. The drivers are what make that equipment works properly with your software. So I recommend that you make sure that your drivers are correctly installed and up-to-date.
