Program of self-monitoring for this device

The computer that I use with a NI PCI card installed is shared by several employees and is frequently disasembled and reasembled. Sometimes, the card OR is in a different PCI on reasembly slot.

Someone at - it recommendations for how to test the locations of device to the card with C / C++ code without interupting the user with error messages?

If you are looking for in the file these sets, you will find "buyers" for all of these properties... For example if you are looking for DAQmx_Sys_DevNames, you will find the DAQmxGetSysDevNames, which is the function you call to get a list of all the DAQmx devices in your system.  Similar "buyers" are available for other devices and system attributes as well.

Basically, you need to understand how you want to identify a device.  You can use the Type of product (DAQmxGetDevProductType - which gives you the name of the product is to say...) "(PCI-6259')."  If you have multiple devices of a particular type, you can use the serial number (DAQmxGetDevSerialNum).  Your logic is as follows:

DAQmxGetSysDevNames()

for (each devNme)

{

DAQmxGetDevProductType()

if(devName == desiredDevName) break;

}

Now that you have identified which device you want to use, you had pre - hangs to the string that you want to use, and your application should work regardless of what device name it receives.

    I hope someone can help with this! I am tring to use my scanner without success with the ' software for this device is not installed.

    Measures taken so far

    On a new copy of the Mavericks with installed updates (10.9.2) I added my wireless printer successfully and I can print my documents successfully. My Mac has recognized that this printer includes a scanner and the scanner appears in the preview, capture of the Image etc.

    Problem

    During an attempt of a scan in any of Mac programs a message that says "the software for this printer is currently unavailable. Contact the manufacturer of the printer to the latest software. "is displayed. There seems to be no software or drivers on the HP site for my scanning equipment. I simply said that it is all built into OSX. I checked the printer on Apple's site and it is listed as supported for printing and scanning. I hope someone can help!

    Finally, I snapped this.

    When you add the printer it seems that OSX AirPrint as the default printer driver.

    To solve this problem, I completely deleted the printer, the printer readded but changed AirPrint for my specific printer driver and all my scanning functions are now available.

    Thanks for all your support!

    Not sure where else to this post, but the USB-TC01 DAQmx uses, so maybe someone recognizes this.

    I plug it to the USB port and it lists very well.  It runs the application very well canned.

    But when I try to take data under DAQmx 9.1.5 I get this curious message, as well as boards "Downgrade of firmware for this device" I don't want to do that.

    EDIT: I see that the firmware of the device is 1.1.0f 1

    The specifications of the USB-TC01 don't say what version of DAQmx is necessary, although 9.1.1 supports the device.

    I tried on XP and Win7 with the same result.

    TIA

    I guess that "ancient" is relative.  Budget and LV9 story of me and I have to stay on the DAQmx version.  But NEITHER finally took me in his Web and it's time for an upgrade.  A trial version of new LV and 9.9 DAQmx solved, of course.  I just wish that error message had been less weird.  At least, it is here for someone else could find an answer, no matter how obvious.

    Hello

    USB devices remove all you can - restart the computer - is still there, the error? If it isn't
    It is related to one of the add-in devices that you removed. If she is still there, then, the question is
    either a device internal who can not remove or physically with the USB bus itself.
    If it was not there, add devices at a time until it is displayed - keep in mind that it is
    possible that there are two (or more) devices in conflict over the issue. Once you
    identified the check of the aircraft with the help of the manufacturer.

    1. to find the control panel - device - device - right-click on it - uninstall - Manager then
    Restart the computer to see if it clears.

    2. same place - double click on the device - driver tab - driver update - to see if that helps.

    3. check with the support of system manufacturer (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems), their
    online documentation and drivers, diagnostics and ask questions in their forums on all known
    questions. Update the Bios and chipset or other USB drivers.

    Those who might be ghosts then right click on them and UNINSTALL - devices and then RESTART.

    References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

    If they show upward then try to manually install the drivers.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
    For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
    Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
    your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
    Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
    Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
    with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
    Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
    BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
    presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
    in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

    Installation and update of drivers to 7 (update drivers manually using the methods above is preferred
    to make sure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
    Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
    older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
    get new manually if you wish.

  • WALKMAN NWZ-S545 gives error cannot start (error 10) device in the Device Manager (and not driver for this device found)

    Under Xp (sp3), Device Manager gives me an error for a Walkman NWZ-S545.  XP sees it as a MTP device, but it does not start.  The Device Manager will give me 2 error messages: device will not start (code 10) not and no driver not found for this device.  The walkman works very well with my other machines on the LAN XP but naturally one that I run my media (a all my MP3 etc.) is the one that has the error.  All of my PC are almost identical (with the exception of the server, duh).  I changed USB ports, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, called SONY to dozens of times, nothing works.  Is a service not started that must be, a driver damaged, what?  Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hello

    I suggest you run the fix that is present in the link below then connect the Walkman on the system and see if the problem is resolved.
