Program runs in the hidden administrator account, but not the administrator account

I have been using Altium Designer for about 5 months. One day, I tried Eun and got the error "dxp.exe has stopped working.  So, after trying a re-boot.  I have reinstalled the software.  At the end of installation, I get the message "the system administrator has set policies that prevent this facility." The installation then said that the installation has been completed successfully. I tried: unlock all files in the installation directory, run the installation as an administrator, the installation running on the hidden administrator account. Turn off UAC.

The installation leaves me with a program which runs in hidden administrator but not nromal administrator.  Even if the install ation was made as normal anministrator.

I am running Windows 7 Home premium, so the control of local security is not available.

Thank you for your help ITKnowledge24.  Your post helped me to find parts of the program that I would never know that existed.

It turns out that my problem was in two parts.  First what killed the software is primarily a print unrelated dirver.  (go figure)  Installation errors were caused because I downloaded the version recient most of the manufacturer's Web site.  When I reinstalled using the old version, the installation was without error.  The software starts to run correctly when the printer driver has been removed.  It seems that windows security was only a Kipper.

    What kind of error do you see? What does not work?

    I have all the subVIs that make up your VI you have posted and it would be difficult to say what is happening, but I suspect that you run in some sort of timing issue. When you run with execution highlighting turned on you slowly run downhill. During normal execution things can run before the system is ready. Maybe your initialization of the camera takes time to complete (on the hardware itself) and when you run in normal mode you are trying to access it until it's ready.

    I would also check the updates for your video card driver. Find the latest Windows Vista drivers for your specific computer model with the support site for your computer manufacturer. Be sure to get the right drivers for your specific version of Windows Vista, for example, 32-bit or 64-bit.

    If your mouse is a USB model, it can be useful to check the latest drivers for your motherboard (chipset) Vista to the support site for the manufacturer of the computer. Also, since you're here you can check for the other updated drivers for your system, i.e., audio, LAN (network), etc.

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/28195552/JavaFX-TableView-context-menu-item-shows-up-when-run-on-Java-8-until-Update-5-Bu

    pasted below:

    The solution is to create new menu items which are copies of those in the context menu of the table:

    private ContextMenu showOnlyAppendContextMenuItemIfRowIsEmptyElseIncludeDelete() {}
        RowMenu ContextMenu = new ContextMenu();
        ContextMenu tableMenu = table.getContextMenu ();
        If (tableMenu! = null) {}
            {for (MenuItem item: {tableMenu.getItems ())}
                RowItem MenuItem = new MenuItem (item.getText ());
                rowItem.setGraphic (item.getGraphic ());
                rowItem.setOnAction (item.getOnAction ());
                rowMenu.getItems () .add (rowItem);

  • A program running in the background of my sequence

    In a first time to run a program in the background of my Teststand sequence, I'm trying to accomplish the very well detailed procedure that follows to run asynchronously a VI (my future intention is to call my a VI program which is running in parallel during the Teststand sequence).

    https://decibel.NI.com/content/docs/doc-21743

    I think that I followed every step, however my implementation was a significant failure: 'Asynchronous VI' does not close even if the concerned Boolean parameter is set to "true" and should be read by this VI...

    I guess I'm missing something obvious... But the fact is that really miss me! Can someone show me my mistake please?

    Thank you in advance!

    Attached you will find my sequence and VI.

    Hello

    (1) for your use case, you update the globals (stationglobals.ini) TestStand and VI reading station which should be fine.

    When the two try to update/write to-it will be a problem.

    (2) - I noticed that it is still impossible to read the outputs of the vi running in asynchronous mode in the main sequence: even when I write the result in a variable StationGlobals, it does'nt change throughout the sequence

    The globals station is a physical file (stationglobals.ini) which must be committed (saved) after updating the variable file in VI.

    TestStand also has to reload the stationglobals.

    Check this box:

    https://forums.NI.com/T5/NI-TestStand/writing-to-TestStand-station-Globals-from-LabVIEW/TD-p/3064530

    I hope this helps.

  • How do we prevent a program run at the start or restart

    Windows XP Home Edition. Magic jack starts when I boot system and I don't want it. How can I fix

    Hello

    With the help of MS Config is always a good option, but you must be sure of what you are doing here because there are number of programs and services that are running,

    If you want to think easy and simple, you can use windows defender if you don't have the program, you can download it here

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=435BFCE7-DA2B-4A6A-AFA4-F7F14E605A0D&displaylang=en&mg_id=10134

    After you install windows defender

    You can open to Defender

    Click on tools

    Click Software Explorer

    And choose Magic Jack and disable at startup,

    You can also use this program to disable other programs you don't want to start when loading/starting allow your computer startup and load faster.

  • Call the Web browser program compiles in 4.2 and upward but not 4.1

    I wrote a very simple application that when launched, opens the browser and takes you to a predefined binding. The following code compiles and works very well on the 4.2 and upward, but I can't seem to compile in the jde 4.1:

    package vwr;

    import net.rim.blackberry.api.browser.Browser;
    import net.rim.blackberry.api.browser.BrowserSession;
    import net.rim.device.api.ui.UiApplication;

    public class vwr extends UiApplication {
    public static void main(String[] args){
    vwr instance = new vwr();
    instance.enterEventDispatcher();
    }

    public vwr() {
    BrowserSession site = Browser.getDefaultSession();
    site.displayPage("http://www.google.com");
    site.showBrowser();
    System.exit(0);
    }
    }

    When I compile 4.1, I get an error related to the site.showBrowser (); command. But as I mentioned, the above code compiles and works fine on OS 4.2 and above. Is there a simple solution for this?

    Thank you in advance.

    Nevermind, I found a solution that works. Here's the code. I hope that someone else will find useful.

    import net.rim.blackberry.api.browser.Browser;
    import net.rim.blackberry.api.browser.BrowserSession;
    import net.rim.device.api.ui.UiApplication;

    public class vwr extends UiApplication {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
         vwr instance = new vwr();
         instance.enterEventDispatcher();
      }

    public vwr() {
        BrowserSession site = Browser.getDefaultSession();
        site.displayPage("www.google.com");
        System.exit(0);
      }
    }

  • Programs running in Compatibility Mode (Windows 98) does not work (or more)

    For years, I have been (re-) installation file SETUP.exe (Epson status monitor of 1998) in Compatible Mode on a regular basis.  I right click on the file SETUP.exe, then I push properties-> compatibility-> Mode Compatible and complete under Windows 98/Windows Me.  Sometimes I run the file SETUP.exe in Windows 2000 mode also, never a problem.

    However, recently, I used DLLArchive and now the sweet Epson no longer works.  Resettlement does not either, as it must be installed in Compatible Mode and that no longer works.  In addition, run the file SETUP.exe in any Mode Compatible (Win95, 98, Me, NT, 2000) no longer works, even in non-compliant.

    I still get the same error:

    "To install EPSON Status Monitor 2, you have Windows95, NT3.1 or NT 4.0"

    While SETUP.exe is clearly compatible Win95/98.

    Earlier today, I couldn't use the Compatibility Assistant programs, whenever I had a "marscore.dll is missing" error when opening start-> Help and Support.  This problem is now solved: help and Support, and then the program compatibility Wizard work fine (I think).

    Any suggestions how to solve the compatibility problem?

    How can I check what DLL files are needed?

    Thanks in advance, Johan
