  I don't think I understand what you are trying to accomplish. You can connect a button on the front of the smart camera and trigger each acquisition. In VBAI check the triggered Acquisition under the tab trigger for the step to acquire Image (smart camera).

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode.   Hello, I'm wondering how to create a task using the Task Scheduler that runs once a day, immediately after I have logon.

  The reason is I want to use Bing Desktop to change my wallpaper every day. However, I just want to run the first time I start my computer every day, so it will change the wallpaper. By default, it starts whenever I have to logon. It's annoying, because I just want it to start once a day to change the wallpaper. However, using the Task Scheduler, I put only a trigger to start "at the opening of session' or"once a day." If I choose once per day, it runs about 5-10 min after I login, instead of logon immediately after. If I choose the two triggers, then it starts after each session.

  Basically, I just want the Task Scheduler to launch the program after the connection the first time I connect to the computer on any given day. How can I do this?

• Running VMware Kickstart scripts fail

  I have a Linux virtual machine vmware workstation I use to run scripts to set up a USB drive as bootable vmware installation media. This works as expected.

  When I do the same thing via a c# Windows forms project, the startup scripts specified to Setup vmware seems to fail. The newspapers that I'm supposed to recover via KS. CFG get never recovered, % firstboot always runs on every boot and no orders in KS. CFG never get through. Everything else works. VMWare Setup is started through Syslinux, it seems to install, /var/log/weasel.log brings nothing new. I am of ideas what could have been a lot of troubleshooting. Anyone here have any suggestions on where I should look or why running startup scripts to fail? I added sleep 30 after firstboot directive % one before running the command to restart at the end of the % firstboot section.

  I did two things to solve this problem. I do not know why the error occurred creating the installation program in an environment and not in the other, but here is what fixed it:

  1. in KS.cfg:

  The first startup script seems to fail or something similar when he is unable to carry out activities against files that should have been established of usb in the post installation script. The FAT16 partition that the post installation script is supposed to have access is supposed to be named CONFIG, but sometimes esxi maps up as NO NAME. In order to get the correct path based on name or NO NAME, I check it and store it in a variable. It is enough for the post installation and first boot scripts do what they are supposed to.

  2. at the end of the first startup script, I got this:

  It is now changed to sleep 180 seconds instead of 30, to ensure that all processes are made regardless of the esxi do what they are doing before starting.

  I'm not sure of everything that happens in the background that it affects, but it seems to do the trick and fix my problem.

  Just upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan, and I started with a problem of Emacs: he would not launch from the Emacs.app icon, claiming that he could not/bin/false and then fails to start Emacs. I followed this to the fact that emacs.app was trying to run/usr/bin/login. When I run/usr/bin/login of "Terminal", it closes with a return code of failure. If I put "Terminal" to run the default connection (/ usr/bin/login), "Terminal" windows dead with the completed product, so it's really bad. I can spend "Terminal" to run/bin/bash, but it does not solve the Emacs.app problem or similar problems for all the other apps that try to run/usr/bin/login.

  I dug deeper and found that/bin/false moved to the operation. It seems that I need to fix/usr/bin/login to run the operation and not/bin/false, but I do not know how.

  I tried to cheat the system backwards by a stand-in to/bin/false

  sudo ln -s /usr/bin/false /bin/false 

  and I get '' Operation not permitted." I never saw this error for any Unix. I am struck by a kind of bedrock refused to the superuser. I tried

  sudo cp /usr/bin/false /bin/false

  and I get "Word authorized operation."

  I'm stuck looking for "the right answer" or other workaround solutions.

  I have a case structure in my program. I use this to count the number of cycles in my experience. I have a knot of feedback (image of the program here attaced) within a box structure. I want the case structure to run only ONCE when the condition is "TRUE". Each "TRUE" represents each cycle. The problem that I'm facing here is that the box structure is permanently running as long as it is 'TRUE' instead of running once and wait for the next 'TRUE '.

  Temporaritly I use a timer inside (as you can see in the picture) to contain the program for the next 'REAL' to come. I hold as by case so I know exactly the time. Is it possible to make the case structure running only once when the condition become ' TRUE and wait for the next "REAL"?  OR is there any other loop that case structure that make this work?

  You really need to work on the analysis/description of your problem: you don't want to run the case as long as the entry is set to TRUE, but you want to run the case at the entrance of the past from FALSE to TRUE!

  I'm not sure what you mean by your first point, but I've linked a KB that tells you how you are able to implement a feature similar to the one you described.

  What concerns your second point, you can create a variable for transmitting data of LabVIEW, TestStand, and then tab Module step that calls the VI you can load the value of the VI in the variable you created. I have attached a screenshot showing an implementation of the present.

  Just to clarify your query in a loop, do you have a subsequence TestStand, you want to call once and then ignore the subsequence for each iteration of the loop after the first call?

  You need to place the code in a while loop. Add a stop button so that the user can tell the program when to stop.  Also put a wait function (ms) in the loop with 100 to 200 ms delay if the loop does not turn millions of times per second while you wait for the user to enter a number.

  When you get more advanced with LabVIEW, you want to learn how to use the structure of the event for programs like this.
