• Can I programmatically change the active group on a Hypertrend in DSC?

  I would like to know how to change the active group of a hypertrend program in Labview DSC.  I saw a link that says it can be done at Lookout.  But in the module DSC, the active group is read-only.

  I know a hard way to do it.  I could save the settings of hypertrend as xmlSettings in a temporary file.  The active group is one of the parameters.  I could then change the group active in this file text to point to the new group, and then reload the settings.  But this isn't a clean way of dong it.

  Anyone know if there is an easy way?

  I found a way to do it but not very clean.  I don't know why there is no function to change the current group.

  There is no way to programmatically call the functionality of an editor 'Use default' or 'Load Default'. To do it yourself, you will need to write your default values for each control explicitly in the diagram, when the user press the logout button.

  I think you should be able to use .NET, as shown in the attached VI (although in my case, each file fails this and says that the file is being used by another process. If the same thing happens to you I suggest looking more far away).

  The type of data you get from the [] Controls property is a generic control. You must cast to a cluster.

  Start by Ravens idea above and use a picture of the limits of the range, for example as described here.

• Cannot change the active title bar

  Hey people.

  I use a HP Envy (Windows 7, etc.), a year or so old, but I just did a reset complete system - a few days ago. It is therefore running (approximately) on the parameters of the box.

  However, I have problems by changing the settings of the active title bar for programs that do not have their own settings of active title bar (think Windows Explorer vs Google Chrome). This has caused some problems, especially for things like Mathematica, where the menu under the title bar is screwed up. More important still, it seems just ugly.

  Unfortunately, go into the settings of customization (including advanced settings) in Control Panel does not work. In fact, the parameters are essentially the value by default and cannot not even match at the exit. It is quite confusing.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if I can provide more information on the parameters, specifications, etc.

  I understand that you can not change the active title bar on Windows 7.

  Please answer the following questions:

  1. you receive an error message on the computer?

  2. what happens when you click on personalization in Control Panel?
  3. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?

I have a taskflow which must be consumed by different teams and some teams want post me the transaction independent of their own, while others would like to indulge my changes with them once I returned from my taskflow control appellant taskflow.

  I think that my answer was based on the semantics of your question. You have asked to change transaction option behavior programmatically separate to change the flow of task transaction behavior. Indeed the messages of Jobinesh provide such a mechanism and of course be too aware of the scope of data control.

  Make one step back however, why don't the existing Transaction to use option if Possible do not work for you? If the appellant wants to that you have a remote, they just wrap your call in one always start new Transaction BTF. This way, you don't have to worry about the behavior of the transaction, it is the appellant as it should.

• Change the active microphone in AS3

  Is there a way to change the active microphone in AS3 without using the SecurityPanel.MICROPHONE?  All my attempts to stop any activity of micro, although triggered by a click of a button.

  If I switch back to the original microphone, it works again, who ever has been initially selected in the control panel of security work.  With two microphones to work, and I spent has been selected via the Security Panel to make sure that's not specific micro.

  - as a side note, the reason for this need is we get comments every time that a user is using the computer's speakers is on firefox.  I put the looping to false and I brought the SoundMixer level 0, but as soon as safety microphone Panel window opens upward, the level rises and looping behaves as if it was set to true.  When the window closes, I get control again.

  Figured it out.  It seems that the Microphone.activityLevel is - 1, until you add a listener of the SampleDataEvent.  You don't need to add this if you run on the server.  In my tests, I was updating my reference the microphone to check the maximum in a loop of update.  I have no day the SampleDataEvent lsitenre since I was not actaully record, just check the microphone input level and do not think that it had to be in place.

  It seems possible that micro verifies that he was a listener of the SampleDataEvent, or is connected to a server before the maximum update, I just never saw this kind of thing done.

  I am not sure that this is the case, but that's what it looks like.  If anyone has more information, please let us know.

  I have a TabbedMobileApplication that has X number of tabs. In a view to 1 of the tabs, I want to programmatically change the tab selected to another tab, as if the user clicked the button on the tab at the top of the screen. Is this possible? I searched through the TabbedMobileApplication API and can't seem to find anything.

  Hey,.

  Currently, the best way to change the tab selected by program would be to set the selectedIndex on browser of the application property.  You would do so this type:

  FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.navigator.selectedIndex = x;

  Note that the navigator in the TabbedMobileApplication class property is not the same browser referenced in a view.  Doing so navigator.selectedIndex an inside view would not work.  I hope that makes sense.

  Please upgrade to P6v7 and rename the activity ID problem will be fixed for life.

• How can I programmatically change the parameters of voltage range in a DAQ Assistant

  First post here.

  I need to be able to change the properties of voltage range of a daqmx assistant DAQ based on user input.  My material, an SCXI module - 1102C does not change this property on a running task, so I would together the range of input voltage analog before activating the DAQ Assistant, or break the DAQ Assistant immediately after it starts, set the values, and then resume.

  I don't know how to change the task ahead because the DAQ assistant creates the task when it is running, and there is no job before that.

  In the attached photo, I have a conditional section, configured to run only if the loop iteration is 0.  I take the task of the Daq assistant, sending him stop vi of task, set the property and then send the task with the snap the vi task. I can watch him run with lightweight debugging on, and everything seems to work properly, but on the second (and all others) iteration of the loop, I read I. Max and it seems that a re DAQ Assistant set it to the 5V.  You can see what's going wrong here?

  BTW, there is a continuous acquisition and the code doesn't produce error messages when executing.

  I've encountered a similar question someone posted here in 2006, but his question was specifically a Labview API (VB, I think) and not a real solution of G.

  First of all, if you want to start getting beyond the basics with the DAQ hardware, you have to stop using the DAQ assistant and do it with lower level VI DAQmx.  There are hundreds of examples in the finder of the example.  You can even make a right-click on the DAQ assistant and select open front panel.  This will create a Subvi, you can open and see what is happening behind the scenes.  Do it.  I think you will find that the task DAQ is recreated on each (although I'm not 100 percent the way parameters are established or maintained in each section of this sub - VI).

  The second problem is that you have a bit of a race on iteration 0 condition.  These two property DAQ nodes are running at the same time.  Thus, when you read the AI. Max, this can happen before or after the AI. Max is located in the structure of your business.

  Thirdly, make sure that involve you your son of the error.

• Z210: Bad support/problem with recovery of an Z210 system when changing the RAID configuration backup

  My Z210 accompanies stripped Bay RAID-0, which currently consists of 2 x 1 TB HDD where the OS partition. I want to change that in RAID-1 mirror, but as the application of TSRI does no such RAID level migration, I thought I would try another approach.

  As a solution, I'd do a backup using the Windows backup and restore application. Then, I would change the table using the Boot ROM TSRI before restoring the backup to this new array. But obviously backup 1.9 TB in a table of 932GB will not

  So, to make a backup, I firstly disabled 'System Protection' and the file 'Page '. This allowed me to reduce the OS partition to about 50 GB using disk management. Then I re - activate 'System Protection' and the 'Page file' before making the backup and the creation of a system recovery disk. This resulted in a backup of 35 GB that I stocked up on a USB external drive. And now a backup of 35 GB can fit on my reconfigured 932GB RAID - 1 mirror

  As such, I cold booted my system and during the boot process, I pressed CTRL-I to get the State of mind RAID Intel Boot ROM. you, CTRL-I've worked only if I started cold and the HP USB keyboard directly connected the first USB slot at the back of the system. The first USB slot is at the top left when you look at the back with the portrait of the tower. Connect the HP USB keyboard in USB port or in the hub of my Dell monitor does not allow me to access the ROM to Boot Intel RAID!

  HP should really study this fault

  In any case, when I could access the Intel RAID Boot ROM, I deleted the RAID-0 stripped existing and created a new RAID-1 mirror. Obviously, the process is destructive and wipe the BONES of the table but that's what my backup was to

  Then I started on the Windows system recovery disk, plugged the USB external drive and proceeded to recover my system.

  Everything worked as expected with the operating system partition uses about 50 GB. A simple trip to disk management enabled me to extend the volume to occupy the space allocated, as presented by the RAID-1 array. As such, I find myself with about 932 GB partition that appear in the windows disk management tool. After a check disk and reboot (which fixed some minor issues) all seemed well.

  But no, everything was fine

  Well that ROM boot RAID Intel sees that a mirror RAID-1 about 932 GB and the operating system sees a partition about 932 GB, both as expected, demand for Intel RST in windows States the following:

  

  I don't seem to have indication of what type of table, it is, an options to change the name of the table or an option to check the integrity of the array through the TSRI application in windows. If something is screwed

  But after the update for the application of iRST version 10.6.0.1002 Intel (the newest HP of) version 11.2.0.1006 (version Intel got very practice), the question seems to correct itself. Now the RAID, Windows boot ROM and the request of TSRI in Windows all agree that the table is indeed a mirror RAID-1 932 GB.

  

  I don't know what caused the problem, if it's related to something that was wrong with the process that I used, if she is simply resolved by reinstalling driver, or if this is a fix for a known issue that Intel has included in their questions later from the pilot.

  But what I know is that Intel has resolved a number of issues in the version 12.9.0.1001 driver (which is the latest version for the Cougar Point chipsets) compared to the old driver version 10.6.0.1002 HP has on its support page for the Z210.

  And HP seems unwavering in his lack of interest in the Intels 12.9.0.1001 test pilot and then make it available on its support page for what is a product still under warranty

  It is a mediocre service if you ask me...

  Some HP forum administrator or HP support person hide these forums should impose it in the HP management station and get it looked at. The Z210 is still under warranty for some customers and HP needs to pick up the latest drivers available to all suppliers, test them and then release them to their customers via the support page for this product. All the rest is little change us all.

  I was able to resolve the application problem Intel RST by updating to the latest v11.2.0.1006 Intel driver but it has highlighted a few points that HP should address, see linked post above.
