  I think it will work eventually, but maybe there need a reboot or something to get ACR to forget the 800 x 600.

  I'm not an apple person.  I read on a few different forums that apple has changed what is called 'writing' in a recent update to apple.  You may need to find an Apple expert to show you how to make sure you are allowed to write to files or locations on your computer.

  Apologies for the inconvenience.

  The minimum version of camera for Canon G3 X access files is 9.1.1 However, last camera raw update for Lightroom 5.7.1 was 8.7.1.

  Thus, you would not be able to access these raw files in Lightroom.

  For Lightroom, you can switch to Lightroom 6 or download DNG Converter to convert these images to DNG and then access in Lightroom.

  For Photoshop CS6, you should be able to access raw Canon G3 X images as CS6 version supports them.

  Make sure all your plugin for Photoshop CS6 camera raw.

  Normally, I shoot with the 7dmarki and have never had any problems.  After troubleshooting my error message 'cannot open IMG1111 because it's the wrong file type', only the options have been updated plugin raw from the camera, to buy the latest version or uninstall and reinstall.  First train to the plugin to update because it was a leased device.  Thanks again!

  Thanks MichelBParis!  I didn't see where he said to 12 items.  I downloaded the free DNG Converter last night and not had much luck.  It is not recognizing that I have all files in the folder at all.  Don't know what I'm doing wrong!

  After the reinstallation of Windows 7, then put it back via CS6 download, Photoshop will read old raw images from the camera, but no new images recently not downloaded from my Canon EOS 6 d, even if I had been able to open these in bridge before Windows 7 faiiled. Any suggestions? I tried to download the format DNG 7.3 plugin, but that did not help.

  Each device is compatible with a minimum version of camera raw.

  Please check if you have this version of the camera installed which include your raw files.

  It would also be that your photoshop will not have to install this version of camera raw as its very old.

  In this case, you can convert your raw files to DNG and can use it.

  To convert the files to DNG, you must download and install the DNG Converter.

  I'm going crazy for a problem I have in the process of working through Adobe Bridge and Camera Raw in Photoshop. I made a small video screen:

  The changes I make on files NAVE opened the bridge with Camera Raw are not imported into Photoshop. And not only! If I try to open the NAVE directly from Photoshop only it allows me to make a few changes. No problem if you change the files of brightness, but nothing happens when I try to turn the photograph for example.

  I'm stuck in my job because of this problem. I read on the Internet that could be a video card problem, so I also tried to disable it using a single integrated, but I have not solved anything.

  The last Camera Raw for CS5 is 6.7. Only Photoshop CS6 can take 8.7.1.

  You need the DNG Converter to change the Nikon RAW in dmg format in order to open it in CS5.

  You may not and you'll never be able to open your raw Canon directly files in CS5.

  This camera was supported for the first time 8.3 of ACR, which requires at least Photoshop CC to run.

  You either subscribe to Photoshop CC (CC) on a monthly basis, or you use the free support only to convert each batch of this camera model Canon raw files to convert them to DNG raw that you can then open in CS5.

  Oh wait, I had. Just in case for those who have the same scenario. I downloaded my D610 NEF files using the old software ViewNX 2.1 and it was the cause of the incompatibility. So, I improved my ViewNX to 2.9 and downloaded my images again. And it worked this time.
