Project dimension 4100

Just start and try to bring it back to life. It didn't work for a few years. I bought a kind of replacement motherboard back then there is a possible problem. Have not removed anything. But first this question... it came with Win ME... has been upgraded to XP. I heard it won't win 10, but is there something more recent than XP that works?  I'm ok with XP but I was wondering. Thank you.

I have the original packing slip.

First thing (and perhaps the only thing) to do is replace the battery of the bios on the card. A cheap solution since the battery costs $2 - cr2032. The fire and see if it works. If it is not or even if it doesn't - it sends to the trash. It is an outdated model that cannot run anything these days. XP is dangerous and should not be on a computer connected to the Internet. You could infect your home network.

  • How are checks on the screen?

    Hello

I want to add on the screen controls to custom FCP generators and effects. How are controls in movement on the screen?

    Thank you

    Ivan

Basically, you need to use those already provided in motion (unless you can program the FxPlug plugins).

You'll find commands to the screen in several filters. The most common is Poke (in the set of filters of distortion.) However, * any * filter CSOS have to publish in its parameter list can be used and there are several different types. ('Exotic' favourites are blur > blur Gradient, tile > Kaleidotile and aesthetic > extrusion.)

Create a new top-level group - rename CSO (or CSO if you have more than one). In the Group Inspector (you * must *) set a fixed resolution 2D. (Otherwise will be very unexpected effects.)

The group selected, add filters > distortion > Poke.

In the Inspector of Poke, find and check CSOS to publish.

Note: the group still has a length of 0 images. You can in properties > calendar > and set the time to the length of your project (or more) or more simply, just add a shape: rectangle, circle, what is practical and then put it in the wide (or turn off the group so it does not appear). The group will have its length defined for the duration of the project (if your preferences > project > create a new layer at the beginning of the project is on or your playhead is 0.) Onscreen controls appear only in FCPX to the number of frames including the object/group parent in the timeline panel. Simply adding a filter does not add an object and filters have no length if there is nothing to act accordingly.

Add behaviors to link to the X and the parameters Y of your object under control. (You need add separate links to individual settings, because there is a mismatch of types of settings.)

In Wells of the behaviour Source object, add the group to the OSC. For the Source parameter in the compatible settings drop-down list, select Filters.Poke.Center.X and Y respectively.  Your object will move to the upper right corner of the canvas. At the bottom of each link behavior Inspector, there is an Offset value. Define each of these to-0.5 (which resets the object in the middle of the canvas.)

Your object will now be controllable in FCPX with the control on the screen.

You know how application relates to several destinations resolution and how it applies to what you were doing just a little.

Motion (very skillfully I must add) treated all resolutions screens as having the coordinates of 0 and 1 (inclusive). No matter what draft resolution you have, SD, HD, 4 K, etc... Controls of the OSC are considered as having the same dimensions. Real pixel values are calculated from the screen resolutions for horizontal and vertical to the destination video (project) dimensions. [Fixed resolution dimensions help you determine the proportions in FCPX, but according to me, are automatically set to adapt to the target FCPX project when it is applied.] Maybe it's not always true, and if you make adjustments, then you essentially override this behavior in your specific model project. See below.]

In the middle of the canvas to an object, as a form, etc., is (0,0), but for a CSO is 0.5, 0.5. When you create a relationship between an object and the parameters on-screen control center, you're "setting" the Center in a different coordinate system. Compensation for these values to the negative terminal of the Center value resets the position to the original 'normal '.

Whatever he says, you can actually fool onscreen controls by setting a custom 'resolution' of the group you places in the dimensions of fixed resolution (say: 300x500pixels). So if you want to create something like a "HUD" to appear in FCPX and have the only control flow within its limits and control another object on the screen, which can be done (using the behaviors of clamp to restrict the Center.X and the Center.Y to between 0 and 1 and the OSC will remain within the limits of the resolution group fixed dimensions you set).  If you don't 'get' this still, forget about it then for now, it is not so important and has nothing to do with what you were asking. [In the case of a "HUD" type configuration, you can create another group with other CSO to control the placement of objects on the screen HUD Group, and everything in this group would be sent as CSOS, including the CSOS of the object of HUD designed... get some practice with CSO, then venture into complicated. You are only limited by what you can put together with what you have available in motion if you do not program such things at the level of the application/plugin. [Here is an example of this type of control project - it's very simple and used to define the background color: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpIxuuZuko8 - it has been designed to be taken apart and studied.]

If you build a model with CSO and the OSC does not appear in FCPX: return in movement and check that his group has length (Timing) and make sure that you have checked the box publish CSOS (and that the effect is selected in the Inspector of FCPX - click the title bar of effect).

On the resolution fixed. Motion, by default, the account of dynamic groups - they grow and to shrink to just be the bounding box of all that they contain. By setting the fixed resolution, you force Motion to limit the group size to what you have defined. When control of the center of CSOS goes beyond the limits of a dynamic group, it acts as a multiplier of positional - and your purpose (most of the time immediately) disappears very quickly off the screen. If your initial group of the OSC has no physical object in it, it's dynamic ratings are 0 x 0 and * any * movement of the control on the screen increases by whole numbers for each pixel, it moves. If you move the OSC 1/2 pixel in any direction, the object's Center is already aligned with the edge of the canvas.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. This topic may be a little hard to grasp until you actually out by yourself and see it in action.

  • Files dump debugging and log files to install in the disk cleanup window

The two points above appear in my disk cleanup window, and I wonder if it is o: k to remove. The first occupies a space of 283 KB and the other 2537 KB. The description of these two files in the disk cleanup window is "files created by Windows.

I have a second question: I have about 5 GB left as free space on my hard drive of 'C '. If this is considered sufficient, or should I get more? I am a senior retired and only use the computer for basic items.

I have a computer Dell Dimension 4100 with Service Pack 3 for Windows XP - Home Edition Operating System - desktop, 111 Pentium with 930 MHZ, 20 GB hard drive and 512 MB RAM. The file system is FAT 32.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and your response.

"Debug dump files" are copies of the contents of your computer's memory.

When a program crashes, it will sometimes "dump" all or part of the
contents of the RAM to a file on your hard drive. The file is useful to
a technical support person who tries to understand why the program
crashed. (Most of the tech support people have no idea what to do with a dump
    file.)

Unless you have been asked to submit a dump for inspection file, feel free
    to get rid of them.

Setup logs files are "log" installation of a program. If you
Watch a (they are really just text files - open with Notepad) you will have
see that they give a blow by blow description of how the program has been
    installed, glorious detail.

If a program does not properly settled, the Setup log will tell you what that
was wrong. If you have not had a facility wrong, do not hesitate to ditch
    These files as well.

On the question of how much free space on the disk is enough... There is no
standards. 15% of your drive must be empty in order for Windows
The Defragmenter built into the work. In addition, it is to you.

Your processor is another story. It's not easy to find effective security
software that will work on a P3. Even if you only use the computer
for the basic elements, an internet connection is pretty basic for a online
    criminal to find you.

  • What is the file Search Enhancement Pack file?

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as email or phone number

A window of Microsoft began to appear on my desktop Dell Dimension computer, November 18, 2010, named Search Enhancement Pack file folder.  This appears when you start.  I'm not familiar with that.  Should I have it appear and, otherwise, I'd be grateful for your advice me what to do with it.  Thank you.   I have a desktop computer, Dell Dimension 4100 with Windows XP, Service Pack 3, processor Pentium 111 with 930 MHZ, 20 GB hard drive and 512 MB RAM.  The file system is FAT 32.  Stewart Fluney

    Hello

    Method 1:

The Search Enhancement Pack is part of the Live toolbar, the highlighting of search pack is not really necessary. You can disable it if you like by following the steps mentioned below. However, this file doesn't cause any damage to your system.

You can try to remove this Pack by

    a. click onStart

    b. Selectrun

    c. type the following command:msiexec /x {299CF645-48C7-4FA1-8BCD-5CE200CF180D}

    d. clickOK.

    Method 2:

If this is not the case, this pack will be present in the Add / Remove programs. You can uninstall it from there. To uninstall a program in the system follow the steps mentioned below.

    a. go to C:/Program Files/Microsoft/Search Enhancement Pack

    b. search for a file named "Seaport.exe" and change it to "Port old.exe" and delete all the files in this folder.

    c. remove all programs 'Windows Live Messenger' in the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs configuration. Restart the computer.

    d. If the 'Search Enhancement Pack' window does not appear on initialize to top, then re - install Windows Live Messenger. (latest version)

    Thanks and regards.

  • Error at startup of disc

Whenever I boot, I get the message

"Read a disk error has occurred."
    Press Ctrl-Apt-del to restart. "

The only changes I made were resize the partition about 60 GB with gparted (remember, the windows partition had about 260 GB free in any case) and installed ubuntu on this very place, I released. Basically, now everytime I try to boot Windows I get this error. It's only a few minor drawbacks at the moment, but I'd appreciate something to help me get to use my application. [b] on ubuntu, I can mount the complete file system, browse and correct it. [/ b] The file system is very good, the hard drive is fine.

If you can help at all, please, I have an Acer Aspire M1100 with stock hardware installed. Do not run Windows 7 my Dell Dimension 3000 shit goes, that's why I have Windows XP installed.

Hi Mike - I found this thread through a search - I hope this is OK to post here...

I now get the same error message on my PC (Dell Dimension 4100) after the x Sockets in my house jumped - off the PC - and then back on later. PC has XP Professional on it. I looked through the XP CD Recovery Console - chkdsk reported mistakes - I've also run fixboot and fixmbr but I get the same error at startup. I don't seem to be able to start using the XP CD.

Have you advice? In addition, my partners laptop has Vista and a DVD - RW drive - I would be able to make a disk bootable CD to start XP?

    Thanks, Nobby

    Chris,
If you put a different HARD drive in your current machine with existing XP is installed, you can have a bit of a problem.  If XP has been installed on the drive in another machine then it will search for the material of the other computer.  So if you put another drive in this machine, you may have to reinstall XP on it.  Or you can put this drive in another machine as a slave drive and save your files.  Anyway I think that you will be able to recover your information since you were able to do an installation to and able to navigate so that in the Recovery Console.
Once you have your data safe, I would check with Western Digital for a disk utility that can test the drive completely.  At this point, he may be able to format and mark bad sectors and make it again completely usable.

  • Installation of hard disks in XPS 420 EIDE

I've been using a Dell Dimension 4100 with two internal hard drives - a 80 GB WDC WD800JB (EIDE) and a 40 GB WDC WD400BB (also EIDE).  80 GB hard drive has Windows XP installed. Both are formatted to NTFS.

I just bought an XPS 420.  It has the ability to install two additional hard drives, but the documentation states that the readers must be SATA. My goal is to install the drives so that if in the future, I need all the files that are stored on them I have easy access.

Is it possible that I can do this?  Is there some kind of card or adapter that I need to buy.

    I appreciate all help.

  • How to display ProjectID, PName (account) on the Page through the entity

    Hello

More than 200 companies in my implementation. The module of Capex is detailed to the level of the projects, so we have a dimension of project. The number of projects is huge, so I decided to design in order to reuse the project members in entities such as below

    1. form project:

    Page: Entity (E01, E02...)

Project ID Name of the project .....
    P1E01. P1. ProjectXYZ
    P2
    P3
    ....

P1, P2... Project member and E01-> P01 is different with E02-> P01 and so on...

ProjectID, ProjectName is members of the account.

We have the second form, the details of the assets for each planning project so that the Dimension of the project is now put in the Page of the form

    2. other assets

    Page: Entity (E01, E02,...); Project (P01, P02,...)

    Header 1 Header 2 Header 3 Header 4
    AssetIDAssetName,,,,,
    Asset1
    Asset2
    .....

The problem is that the size of the project on the Page can only display members of the project name/alias P01, P02... which does not make sense with the users. What the user wants to use to display the ProjectName, projectID which are defined in the first form to their entity.

I think using javascript cutomization. But as I tried, it seems that javascript cutomization cannot work on my current version (11.1.2.3).

I think it's a common problem, so I'm posting here hoping that someone has found a work around for this. Please ask if there is any point is unclear.

    Thank you very much

    Van Huy.

    Hi Huy

This isn't really a problem, it's just how Capex module is designed. Its designed in such a way so that the dimension of the projects lists your projects and it is where you would project names. You have decided to 'Customize' the module based on unique customer requirements that do not match the features "out of the box" of capital expenditures. That is why its our job to come up with models that meet the requirements.

I'm not messing around with java custom.

My thoughts are how about this.

    1. you create a data entry form that lists the projects on the lines and details about the columns. (you already mentioned above)

    2. on the planning of assets form, make a composite form, with horizontal split. Top of page section, have a form that has the entity and the project page and then only the project details accounts on the columns. On the line simply choose a dimension, say scenario, year or whatever is set for the data you expect. Unfortunately what ever you choose will display on the shape, but you could be creative and give it another alias, etc. Then, on the bottom have the form of assets, as you described above.

Now enter the first form, the process would be for a user to the entity of click with the right button on a project that is on the line and select an item from the menu called "Active Plan" - this menu will create and this menu must be a form menu that links to the composite shape above. Select the pass project dimension drop-down list, then this menu requires the addition of the first form. When the user selects the menu item, what will happen is that it will open the composite shape that has the assets listed in the form of the lower part of the composite and the details of the project will be displayed in the form above the composite. You can decrease the depth of the full form as most of the screen is the asset planning form and only the line after line of project details is displayed in the upper part have (if the form is not only deeply).

I know that's not ideal, but I think it's an approach that is nice to capture the requirement and also means that you don't create a Java Custom charges will not be supported by Oracle.

    Thank you

    Anthony

  • You can assign attributes via the OutlineLoad.cmd utility?

I create an attribute named Sun "Project Admin" with basic dim 'project '. I now want to assign the person to the different project under project ID. I can do this via OutlineLoad.cmd? The examples in the planning of Admin Guide do not give one to attribute these. I tried the below but he just create a new Dim attribute named "TextAttrib" for the size of the project.

    OutlineLoad.cmd /A:APPNAME U:admin / /I:F:\cripts\Automation\scripts\Metadata\ProjMgr\DimBld_Files\ProjMgr.csv /DAT:TextAttrib m: "of the project" /L:F:\scripts\Automation\scripts\Metadata\ProjMgr\Logs\ProjMgr.log /X:F:\scripts\Automation\scripts\Metadata\ProjMgr\Logs\ProjMgr_Bld.exc/c

Looks like my ProjMgr.csv file. Just try to get the sample of work before I try thousands...

    TextAttrib, Parent
    Gregorydefraiteur, Proj_12345

You can assign attributes when loading your project dimension, see below for the .csv format

Project, Parent, Alias: by default, the storage of data, Project Admin
    Project_12345, Project_12345_Parent, gregorydefraiteur

  • Exception of HAL VA error

    Hi all

We have Hyperion Planning 9.3 Version and we use HAL to insert or update the Dimension / or dimension members. HAL worked very well until last month. Since then, we try to load or update dimension members, then we get an error... We use the CSV file to update the dimensions of planning.

    The error is

VA Exception defined by 'Planning of the depenses1' in 'Diagram1 Flow': file not found Exception: planning F:\Hyperion Project\Dimension Build\Employee\Error.log(The system cannot find the path specified)

    Now my question is: -.

    1. What does this error mean?
    2. How can I debug this type of error?

I appreciate that you all if you can help me solve this problem. I'm working on the production, and we need to update they system as soon as possible because human resources will update the salaries of employees and etc...

I hope to see positive results...

    Thank you and best regards,
    Safi

The error message is basically saying that you are trying to assign an alias, but the alias already exists for another Member.
Although all records are rejected, so it still sounds as there are problems with the source file.

    See you soon

  • A persisted tables of stadium for the sources of the eBS

    Hi Experts,
I am currently working on analytical HR and use OOB Informatica mappings for the loadings of OLAP data. The source is Oracle eBS (HRMS).
I find that there are several mappings of PersistedStage to load the tables of persistent scene like W_ORA_WEVT_PERF_PS, W_ORA_WEVT_SAL_PS etc. These paintings fills in turn tables _FS (as usual for loads of data warehousing).
Can someone help me understand why is - this stage friendly tables are used even when we have typical stage tables (* _FS) also?
All document links will also be useful for my checklist.

    Thanks in advance.
    Anamika

The reason for the staging as Persisted is not just to join the tables... as you said, this is done in SQ itself. set persistent staging are used for a number of reasons... one (as I've mentioned before)... is when there is no effective timestamp valid on the source... in compating table the new changes with the tables of the "persistent" scene, you can assess the actual start/end dates. Some other reasons can also make a few indicators or calculations... for example, in human resources, an 'event' can be a number of types such as 'Change of use' or 'Change of age band'... the scene as Persisted tables can capture these flags to be used downstream. In other cases, we need to "filter" the records of the source of changes unnecesssary. In BI applications, we use a kind of "date last updated" to capture incremental changes... but in the OLTP system, we couldn't have some incremental changes... Suppose you have a PROJECT dimension, and it has a date of update... and this update date is changed when the project manager changes... and you don't care to see this change... to avoid unnecessary variations in the increment, so you can have a persistent Stadium to check if gradual change is necessary or not. Here are some of the many reasons to persist.

If it helps, please mark as correct.
