Provider will not identify Mozilla Thunderbird

Have been using MT for 2 years and my provider are down, now I can't send or receive and I get a timed box in the lower right. Intensified the timed out from 100 to 1000, always expires. Called my provider (Charter.net) and re-opened my Charter of the email. Charter works very well, but I don't like it as well as Mozilla Thunderbird. and I did not have my contacts in the Charter. I deleted MT twice and re installed twice. Charter says that they cannot help but in my mind, they are to blame. Need ideas or suggestions. Thank you Clayton

    Got a Satellite A135-2356 opportunity, everything seems fine but BIOS will not identify SATA HDD, shows no disk BIOS downgraded to 1.30, not good, upgraded to 1.40, not good. BIOS has no change/test/detection of HDD/SATA settings options. Tested the drive in another laptop and it reads very well. Received the Toshiba (Vista Basic 32) recovery CD, but given that the BIOS will not read the disk, can't do anything. Cleaned contacts, not good. This HARD disk must be too large, or something for the Board of Directors.

    To be honest, I do not think the disc is too big for your laptop. I can imagine that your laptop can handle with drives of 160 GB too. Unfortunately there is no public document on the possibilities of HARD drive upgrade. I can imagine that ASP in your country has information about such things.

    It's also quite strange that HDD is not recognized correctly. Long ago, I had the same problem. Every time when I used F12 at startup disk HARD were not as boot device. Solution in my case was to upgrade the BIOS to the default settings. I believe that your BIOS has already the default settings, but try to do it again.

  • HP Photosmart Prem 310a went offline suddenly and will not identify the SSID to run the Network Setup Wizard.

    All of a sudden the printer has gone offline a few days ago.  Went through all the diagnostics, etc. but nothing fixed.  A solution-Assistant will not work cause it will not identify the SSID of the network that he has done since it was installed (long ago).  Have tried everything I can find online, unless I don't understand or is not quite apply and still nothing.  Wireless network works with everything except the printer.   • XPS 8300 will not identify data reader 5 to

    I have a desktop computer XPS 8300, Windows 7/64, 12 GB of RAM. Boot drive is a 500 GB SSD, and there is a SATA 2 TB of data. I'm a photographer, so I need a lot of data storage.

    I just bought a Toshiba MD04ACA500 5 to to use as a data drive (NO boot).

    My XPS 8300 can see the drive, but insists on the fact that it contains only 500 GB of storage, not 5 TB. I did the following:

    • Run Diskpart from a DOS window.
    • Run Diskmgmt.msc;
    • Run the tool to partition a third party
    • Also, I went through Windows KB 2581408 procedure of adding a player of great size.

    No matter what I do, the drive is detected as only 500 GB.

    The XPS 8300 is possible to work with a 5 TB drive? If so, how?

    Disks over 2 TB software needed to work with disks of large capacity and NEED 64 Bit Windows.  INTEL RST integrated in win7 is 8.x, which means that he WILL NOT see large capacity disks. Seagate manage it with the driver and utilities.

  • Windows 7 pro will not identify disk hard esata

    I use dock cables unlimited Office. USB port works fine.

    I tried the steps above on a DELL Latitude E6510 laptop with Windows 7 and it will not consistantly recognize the drive eSATA external hard.

    Once the laptop has continued to view the contents of an external hard drive, even after having been unplugged.

    I run 2 hard drives in my PC. A disc is only for programs. And the largest are for photos/music. When I go to import the source the left pane will not recognize the drive B:, C: drive only and he will recognize even my M: drive with is my outside. Im not sure what to do at this point to add the B: drive to the source. Thank you

    It is sometimes useful if you put a "fictitious" picture on a disk via Win Explorer. So, try this first and see if your player appears.

    If this does not help:

    Letter B is not a good choice for a player on a PC. It's because of the ol-old time when drive letters A and B were reserved for the disc x6.25 "(A) and the floppy disk drive (B).

    That's why the first drive in PC today is always named c. (letter)

    And, I don't know maybe that Lr does not recognize the drive letters A and B. So rename your drive B to the D drive.

    Do this in the Windows Control Panel > system and security > administrative tools > computer Nortsk > disk management. In the lower window where it shows your drives, highlight the drive in question and then go > Action > all tasks > change drive letter and path.

  • Lightning 4.0.2 will not install on Thunderbird 38.2.0

    Windows 7 Professional, the last 38.2.0 update was incompatible with the calendar provider installed lightning & Google.
    Documentation says that it is "grouped" in 38.2.0 but saw nowhere (the Calendar tab and tools > calendar disappeared.)

    Download Lightning 4.0.2 seems to occur, but the installation fails. Add-ons Manager shows that this 'installation' and said 'Lightning will be installed after you restart Thunderbird. Reboot causes nothing to happen. Reboot the machine causes lightning 4.0.2 to disappear.

    Exclude: I blocked Webroot antivirus to make sure no effect there.

    Another entry in this space where 38.2 killed the calendar but the relocation apparently worked.

    From your answer I don't know if you have tried the construction of candidate or not.
    The difference with the official version is that it contains not all locations.
    The official lightning build dumps a ton of files in the extensions folder, so it may well be related to antivirus.
    In addition, you may need to remove the "progressive" under "extensions" directory in the front profile.
    The problem does not seem to be widespread, if not this forum would be full of complaints.

  • TB will not identify PW for one of my email accounts

    I have three accounts of gmail, which I recently opened. I was able to set up the first two TB accounts without problem. When I opened the account of third parties, however, TB tells me that the password is incorrect. I tried several times and get the same message every time.

    I joined the site of gmail, offline and signed in. The same CI I tried to use in TB works perfectly on the site of gmail, so I know that it is correct. I even tried a copy and paste, to be sure I wasn't wrong he seized. But TB still does not recognize as valid.

  • Why will not identify check plugin that adobe Acrobat is current?

    Whenever I open a Firefox window, I get a tab plugin check telling me that my Adobe Acrobat is obsolete. I installed the new version three times now. I even downloaded the installation of the page ftp from Adobe, rather than the page that check plugin sent me just to be sure. The plug-in control page even says that I am running version 10.0.1, the latest version I can find, but still insists on the fact that one is obsolete. What happens here?

    My problem: as well as update Adobe Acrobat is not recognized, the Plugin Check page don't stop posting at the start of Mozilla.

    My Solution: I have uninstalled Viewpoint Media Player from Windows. There is no need for me to remove the GOAL (in reference to the previous answer). If the 2 were installed at the same time seem irrelevant because GOAL still works without perspective and two of my Plugin problems have been resolved.

  • MacBook pro 2012 will not identify new SSD

    I just bought a macbook pro of 2012 and have used it for two weeks without flaws with my 250 GB samsung SSD drive. Now I tried to update the size and bought myself a Corsair Force THE 480 GB to use as the primary drive. I plugged it in, but the mac does not recognize the drive. So I formatted with another mac and tried again. Still no luck. Tried the old drive. No luck with that one or the other. So I knew the data cable from being broken. But when I plug a normal HARD disk it recognizes when in the main location. So the question is, what is the problem with the mac? I don't understand.

  • IMac 27 "10.11.3 suddenly will not identify Icloud password

    My computer was working perfectly until this morning, and it seems that a lot of my preferences have disappeared. The computer starts not in recovery mode or in safe mode. I can boot from an external drive for backup, but I want to reinstall El Capitan (sigh), but my password is not just recognized in the App store and I said 'contact support '. I have not done this for a long time and need some advice on how to reinstall El Capitan on my Imac. Have no idea how she became corrupt.     Since it is under warranty, why don't look you at the Apple Store for repair. If the drive has failed, it will be replaced free of charge.

    There are three ways to reinstall OS X. The first is to re - install on the existing system (must be the same version) which does not erase the drive. The second way erases the disk and reinstall the original version of OS X, which was preinstalled. This does not work if the computer came out before 2011. The third way is for the older pre-2011 machines on which you first need to install Snow Leopard after erasing the disc.

    You don't have a Lion installed, as indicated in your profile if you have an iMac which is only 7 months old.


    Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive

    Make sure that you have a current backup before continuing.

    HD recovery start:

    Restart the computer after the ring, press in and hold the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen to appear.

    Repair

    When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. Disk utility charges and select Macintosh HD entry indented from the list on the left.  Click the first aid tab in the toolbar... If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then re-run first aid until no errors are reported. Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

    Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

    Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than Wi - Fi and more reliable.


    Install or reinstall OS X from scratch

    Make sure that you have backed up your files because the following procedure will remove all of the hard drive.

    HD recovery start:

    Restart the computer after the ring, press in and hold the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen to appear.

    Erase the drive:

    1. select in the main menu disk utility and click on the continue button.

    2. once the charges of THE select your boot volume (usually Macintosh HD) in the

    list on the left. Click on the Erase tab in the main window of THE.

    3. set the type of format Mac OS extended (journaled). If necessary, click

    I tried the move photos from my phone to my laptop and the backup phone, but the computer does not see the phone even if the phone indicates that it is connected via USB. I talked to an AT & T technical support. They did their audit of distance on my phone and found nothing wrong. My laptop has no problem seeing the other external devices: cameras, hardness, etc. Unfortunately, I'm not an irritable person then will need help in simple language. Can anyone help?

    I just checked on a Dell laptop and it didn't work. After some research more than it looks like this is a matter of Samsung. A LOT of people having the same problem. No simple solutions, either.

  • System Dell DataSafe recovery media will not identify key USB

    I am trying to create a system restore USB recovery and DataSafe does not recognize my USB.  I use a 16g SanDisk Cruzer stick, and it does not recognize any of the 4 ports USB (2.0) on my system I use it (No. USB key ' detected').  My system recognizes the stick very well... I can drag and drop onto the key using Windows Explorer.  I tried to format the stick in NTFS or FAT32 and still no go.  Well, to tell you the truth, I guess I can go out and get another USB key.  In fact, DataSafe acknowledges a Lexar stick I have, but it's just a stick of 1 g and I came out and me a larger stick knowing at least 9g would be necessary.  DataSafe does not recognize that SanDisk USB sticks that anyone knows of?  Did I just waste $ 10 on a USB?

    You can find the version number of Dell backup and recovery by opening the application by clicking on the "?" in the upper right corner and go to the 'about '.  If your version number is older than 1.6.2.4, you must click on the "Update" tile in the main screen.

    We have solved many problems of detection of backup and restore Dell v1.6.2.4 USB.

    When you go to the "Update" page, make sure that the "Automatically check updates" is checked.  In this way, you will automatically get updates as we post them.
