PS elements saves peak as an empty file and I can not open it
Hey guys, I hope you can help me.
I use Photoshop Elements 8 and I don't know what happened (or what I did), but suddenly the files I save (save - as, I rename the modified files) started saving blank thumbnails. I can not open them and the properties of the list the file type as 'File' (although I kept them .jpeg).
In addition, the blank thumbnail size is about the same as the original image (a bit more great cause it is retouched; this is normal).
The file records always as white if I change my name and if I try to change the format (.bmp, .jpeg, etc.)
I use Windows Vista, if it's important.
I enclose a screencap of what it looks like in the folder and file properties that arise
I would like to know if I should provide any other information and I would be grateful for any help. It's the only PS I have access to right now, and it's painful to have folders of photos and not be able to do something with them.
Thanks in advance =)
It seems that windows is tangled because you have periods in file names.
If you take one of your backed up files and add a .jpg file to end elements must open the file.
It's probably a good idea not to use periods in the names of files except for the file extension.
Using underscore instead of periods is a better way to go.
It seems also in versions subsequent elements and photoshop, be careful about the use of periods in file names or the program won't save the right to files
which was not the case in older versions of photoshop and elements.
The trick to saving a file remamed with periods is to reselect jpg in the drop-down list after you rename the file for the appropriate extension is added.
That being said, I've avoided using periods in the names of file for many years just to avoid any possible problem.

The problem is associated with attachments to incoming e-mail. The first time that this has happened, I looked for a solution and has finished installing something called fast. The problem has not resolved itself and I uninstalled the software. Now when I try to read a pdf attachment, the file seems to be converted somehow in a speedy.ashx file and I can't read it.
Try to rename the file and give it a .pdf file extension.

Print in the file creates files that I can not open
I feel in a file, and the file suffix is 'pdn' not 'pdf '. Then, I'm unable to open the file, an error message.
In addition, when I create the PDF file on the Adobe Web site, about 50% of the time the original layout of the elements of text and image are scrambled around on the pdf version.

I scored a 'private' account files and now can not enter in their.
So I marked my account "private" files and must have done something else, because my account listed is not on the login screen. Worse, I forgot the password for it. I can still see the folder 'my account' other accounts, so I know it's always there. How can I go back in my files again?
OK, so I found how to get my account back, now I just need to get the password, but there are a lot of answers for this.
Solution: I disabled the account. Control Panel > administrative tools > computer management > local users and groups > rt click user, and then select Enable.

Of recent, I am unable to delete files or photos.
These are my own files. They are not in use elsewhere on the computer.
When I try to delete, the Microsoft 'circle work' rises and lasts forever.
I can't get out of this mode. Finally, after trying to escape from this command, the box comes in asking me if I really want to delete the file.
How can I get my computer to normal operation removing?......... Of recent, I am unable to delete files or photos.
Consider a problem in recebt?
If Yes, do you remember a "good date" when you could remove personal files?
If Yes, please do a system restore.
Choose this "good date" or before as your restore point.http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/
If system restore is not working or not a option, please do a check of the file system. It's to look for corrupt files. He will try to fix it if it is found.

make backup of my files aand ordibary copy in zip files, they now need to open and I get message cannot open files, etc.
You must use the restore backup procedure to restore individual files of access - you can not access it just directly from the backup (even if it's possible with 3rd party software - you can check Bing, Google,www.tucows.com and www.download.com). If you made a backup of the complete picture, you should definitely 3rd party software even be able to do as you cannot access the individual with restore files (only if doing a restore completes).
Here is an article on the restore procedure:http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-restore-files to make sure you do this right. It's a selective restore of a full or selective backup (not a full restore from a full backup)...
This is a GREAT article on the backup and restore processes in Vista http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.09.backup.aspx , but he won't go into detail about the restoration process - considering almost as easy, of course. But it teaches you a lot about what is possible and how to do it. It also focuses primarily on the full backup process, but he did mention the full backup and restore process as well.
Here is an article on the advanced use of restoration (during normal restore does not work):http://www.mayankraichura.com/post/2009/08/06/Avdvanced-Restore-via-Windows-Vista-Backup-and-Restore-Center.aspx.
Restore files from a backup

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/back-up-and-restore-frequently-asked-questionsI also found the following (but don't know if it of true or not):
1. after the start of "backup and Restore Center."
2. I chose "Advanced Restore"
3. I was did not an administrator password... maybe because my account is an administrator account.
4 choose "files from a backup made on a different computer.
5. in the dialog box indicating "Select the location of the backup to restore", select "hard drive, CD or DVD...". »
6. under the drop-down list box, select your drive/partition and continue
7. If all the backups on your drive, it will show a list of them.
8. in my case, he showed a backup, but in the backup location, it will show "backup location is not available."
9. I was frustrated, but then I somehow just select this backup (Yes... even if he said that thebackup location is not available " ")
10. and you press "next".
11 guess what... no error!
12. a window appeared asking me if I wanted to do a full restore, or I want to select specific folders or files.
13. I selected the folders I wanted to restore and bingo... it their restored smoothly.
14. so that the next time see a mistake, try to continue with him... ;)
I don't know if this will help, but it does not provide much information about the process (when it works).
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

I am running Windows 7 (have been since I got this computer about 1.5 years).
Hello
1 did you change on your computer before this problem?
2. this issue occurs when printing a PDF in particular?
3. do you print directly online?
4. are you able to print with other applications?
A PRN file is a special type of file that contains instructions for a printer, it tells the printer to print on the page and where and what paper to use tray, paper size and a number of other controls.
PRN files are usually created automatically by a printer driver, in fact, that's the first goal of the printer driver, to translate the generic output of an application such as Word or Notepad into something the printer can understand and interpret.
You can follow the procedure in the article.
