PSC 1210 not printing anything
According to the title - no problem, put on the market, no led error, tried to print, sheet produced but empty.
I replaced both cartridges - still nothing, no alignment sheet (not even a void) does not produce but now "Check print cartridge" flashes.
When checking the properties of the printer, I learned "the device is functioning properly.
All I can think is perhaps the need for cleaning nozzles, but I can't find the tab "maintenance".
Properties of the printer to try it. Please let me know where this can be found most any other suggestions
as to what might be wrong.

Why not print anything from a web page?
Thanks Petstopman. I guess I'll have to go to IE when I want to print off the web. Looks like it would make FF take knowledge.
A few weeks ago, my printer started printing black as a very light gray. I replaced all cartridges, removed the print head and tried to clean the contacts on the back. From advice on the HP website here, I bought a new print head. Just installed and reinstalled the fundamentally new cartridges. He gave me that a message about old print cartridges may not have enough to complete the new initialization of the print head. I just rejected because the cartridges are fundamentally new (XL version, no less).
Now, the printer does not print anything. He's not even trying. Zineb screen shows he gets something to print, but it is just there to always say "now printing...". "without actually doing anything. There is an occasional (perhaps every 10 seconds) inside the printer, the noise that resembles something moves back, but it never attracts any document.
As far as I know, HP has decided that without cartridges NEW NEVER OPEN, my printer is now a brick with a shiny new print head $85.
Yes, I tried to copy with the same results.
Help, please. I really want to spend a different $70 on new cartridges and lose the new game that is already there!

I reinstalled the printer. It printed the page test perfectly, now I will not print anything else. How to print again?

Method 2: Restart the Print Spooler Service
You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.
a. open administrative tools by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type administrative tools, and then click Administrative Tools.
b. double-click on Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
c. right-click on the print spooler service and then click Properties.
d. on the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that automatic is selected.
e. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Method 3: Configure the driver to correct the printer port
on the tab "Ports" of the "Printer properties" window, select the port for the printer driver.
a. from the Windows desktop, open the printer properties window.
b. click the Ports tab.
c. under "printing on the following ports; Select the port to which your printer is connected.
Example: In this example, the printer is connected to the "USB001 virtual printer Port.
d. click on 'Apply' to validate the changes.
Click on general tab and then click on 'Print Page of Test' to confirm that the changes fixed the problem.

I have tried everything I can thingk of. My HP8600 (Wi FI) pro works very well, the PC says it's all Ok, no problem, but I cannot print anything (it was working perfectly a few days ago).
It can scan from the printer to a computer predefined shared directory without any problems, but the PC does not print anything, even not the computer test page and nnthing present in the queue either.
I ping the printer without problem!
I have reinstlalled the pilot tiimes much, at no. avail etc...
problem remains the same, says there is a configuration problem, I'm lost.
In computers, it says after the installation, but the icon of the image is the kind of an empty rectangle, not the picture of the printer itself.
Hope you can help. Maybe I'll try to destroy the driver and load it again, it's the last thing I can think.

Monday morning, I was able to print things very well, but when I got home from classes I wouldn't let me print anything!
I open HP print and doctor Scan which ended, there was nothing wrong. I went to HP Support Assistant, same thing.
I was able to print the diagnoistic from my computer but I am not able to print from Microsoft word or Google Docs. It is not in offline mode. I have a USB key on top of the printer to the computer.
When I try to print, it appears in its qeuce as queue and printing but my printer does not print.
What is going on? Why it does this now? This is a new printer I've had in the month of August.
What is the operating system on your computer? KB3194496 10 Windows and iOS 10.12 killed a lot of printers, without mercy. I'm a victim too. I think that your machine uses Windows 10 and update automatically.

For some reason any my printer has ceased to be able to print anything at all, since last night at 7-8 so far, I've been able to print perfectly well.
It is connected wireless (and on the home network and the IP address), but whether or not it is wireless (USB) - nothing will be printed at all.
Have tried everything imaginable... uninstalled and reinstalled all HP 3 or 4 times now, various attempted fixes via the online help, nothing works. Have unplugged router printer 30 s, unplugged 30s, you name it.
It allows to print in-house, however, no problem. Print a test - perfectly fine page, print a network test page - perfectly well. Clear print heads... everything comes out clear.

After following it exactly as I had to... I get this result:
"There is a problem with your software which can not be repaired by this tool. Remove the software by clicking 'uninstall '. Reinstall the software with the product CD or by downloading the latest features full software from HP Customer Care. "- so in other words... I am told to do exactly what I've already done 3 or 4 times.
It's driving me crazy... and do not understand why it will not print.
I hope someone here can help... because it's completely maddening.
By coincidence, my grandson has me bought a new computer earlier in the month. and it arrived yesterday afternoon, a Lenovo all-in-One ThinkCentre w/Windows 7 - and after it he installed there, the printer printed fine from the computer.
But, just in case it is needed, and because the advice was here, I thought I'd try the options.
Unfortunately, I can't do a level 3 uninstall with the two methods provided. Method never showed a "util" folder or 'utility', both had a "utils" folder, and no method showed a record of "ccc". Also, by downloading the software, then go into the temporary folder through the search from the Start Menu, 3 sets of disc records came - and such that mentioned, none had the util/utility folder (all "utils" still had once) - and yet, none of them had a folder 'ccc '.
My grandson theory was that something is likely messed up in the registry, and he doesn't dare touch it without knowing what it does - than a reformat or something registry editting and knowing exactly what they're doig - would be the best choice, but rather of your time and... almost useless with the new computer capable of printing. A friend IT very well educated friends, also backed up his theory...
So, I have to wonder... don't you think it's worth, the Dungeon of combat with the old Gateway/Vista PC, or simply move to the new Lenovo/Windows 7 and cause less stress for us all? Haha!

My CP1525nw printer has stopped printing anything black. I am on Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1 on a PC and Windows XP Service Pack 3 on two other computers and get them connected with a wired connection to a laser CP1525nw printer.
I felt for a week and have no more than 25 printed pages since I got it. All of these 25 pages was beautiful. The printer has been turned on, but was not used for a few days. When I went to print, the color of the fine printed page elements, but none of the black text printed. I tried other documents and got the same results. Nothing that was black on the printed document.
The printer displays no error messages, and depending on the Toolbox software HP, all the toner levels are fine, I expect them to be because the printer has not been used very much at all. I ran the utility VER of diagnosis HP 4.1, and the printer passed all of these tests. I use paper that is made for laser printers.

Even I did uninstall and reinstall with the disc that came with the PC. The last clue I found was in the HP diagnostic utility that said there was a "breakdown of pen" correction which had to be fixed before printing could continue. But he had no information about the way to approach this. The "Device status" box was red checked. When I try to print anything, it seems that receives the message from the computer to the printer, but then nothing happens and I get an error message and the printer goes offline by itself. What should I try?
What you can check is pulling the cartridges, clean the contacts on the cartridges and the unit (without of course) and check the dates on the cartridges if there not expired. Also try printing a testpage like this: press and hold the Power button, press once on the button back and letting the two buttons.
OK, so I'm trying to print basically nothing of importance, but when I click on the Fax icon, it turns the paper into the printer as if it were actually print something, but I only have a blank sheet of paper. Why? I'm not this computer.

Why is it you are by clicking on the icon of Fax to print anything? Open a doc, then click on print.
I have a printer Dell V305 that worked very well, but I'm more able to print anything from my laptop. Scanning, etc. still works but not the printing part. I have Windows 7 64 bit. He has a solid orange light on.Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver is damaged. Re-install a new copy should help
Someone please help. I'm so frustrated right now. My printer has stopped printing another thing than Web pages. If I try to print a word document, there is nothing to print. She acts like it is printing but nothing goes on paper. If I try to print a pdf file... I got the text, but for most of the lines of the text. The only thing I can print now is Web pages. It is zero logic. I have reset the printer. I unplugged the printer. I deleted the printer. I have readded the printer. I tried almost everything what I found on these sites and nothing works. I noticed it would not print this past Sunday and I finally had the time to watch tonight and I can't fix it. I thought I ran out of ink or something, but these are all fresh cartridges and the printer test works. Also, as I've shared it it will print Web pages. Just nothing else that me is not good when working on papers for my master's program. Help!

I have a HP500 - 590 Energy Star, which I am trying to connect to my old printer HP Officejet 6700. I reinstalled the CD supplied with the printer several times. That did not work. I could not print a test page - until what I restarted the computer. So I tried the printer HP software download. That no longer works. But I could always print everything that I tried to print if I rebooted the computer. To say the least, which is not acceptable. For some reason, the spooler seems to hold the documents without letting go them to the printer until I restart. I don't know if it's an HP computer problem, a problem with printer HP or Microsoft. I don't know what to do to isolate and solve.
What I see, this is not a problem with the printer itself.
Run sfc/scannow in a command prompt to see if that fixes the corruption of the file system as possible.
When this problem starts after a Windows Update or whatever, and what version of IE are you?
Go to the Control Panel, Windows Update, updates installed, look for Internet Explorer 11 if it was one of the installed updates. Right-click on Internet Explorer 11, uninstall if it was.
Restart the computer when you are prompted. Then see if your printer works
I was able to print documents from my PC so my laptop until suddenly now I am only able to scan and print nothing.
Here are the things I've tried:
-all types of trobleshoots
-tried wired (usb) as well as the installation of the network printer, but the same two result
-hp print scan n doctor
-removed and added printer many times
-uninstalled and installed the drivers several times
-installed universal hp drivers, just in case it might work
After all the above and many wasted hours yet the problem persists
After doing print and scan the doctor I am able to print the test page but not able to print any pdf, files etc from any device.
After a few hours on reseach I tried printing text from Notepad and it PRINTED, but I am not able to print pdf or word files. I even got a printed pdf file Foxit software & also of IE but its does not print from adobe acrobat or word or excel.
found the solution... I had to run all software as "administor run" mode and it was like... what I did is go in the example of speech software installation folder, that I went to the folder of installation of microsoft and winword.exe found a click with the right button on it and went to Compatibility tab and check the option run in administrator mode. It is printed after that.
