PSC 2410xi all-in-one: check cartridge error messages

My printer started recently flashing error message saying "check and delete (I think) of print cartridges. When I take out them and put back them in the error message disappears, but returns in a day or two. So I replaced the cartridges ($90) and am still having the same problem. I'm lucky that I can still get to print, but I'm worried.   I didn't clean the cotacts of the printer on the computer because I do not see how to do it yet, but I read through old messages on this problem but can't see where a solution has been found...

Does anyone know of this problem being solved far from being a new printer?

    I get a message saying that I use the wrong cartridge when I try to print a document, but I have been using the two ink cartridges for awhile with no problems.  I'm sure they are good!  Can someone help me fix this or reset my printer?  Thanks for any advice you can offer.

    7hr power outage at home, got the message "remove and check color cartridge '.  This is done several times without success. Color cartridge was working properly before the power failure.   tried power off and on again - no, chance - try blowing off/not brushing off contacts in printer and cartridge no chance.

    Is this a new cartridge HP OEM or revised?

    You have another cartridge installed in the printer?

    Clean the face of the cartridge and the electrical contacts on the back of the print carriage.

    Today after printing several pages, that I needed to put in a new black cartridge, so I did.

    Then, after a few pages, I get the error"cartridges" review "." "

    I removed and put back them several times, followed the instructions to unplug and everything, but I still get the same message.

    I even put in a new cartridge for color as well, but it still does not work.

    What else can I try?

    If I have to buy a new printer, I have several cartridges left. Anyone know if I can use the 56 and 57 cartridge in any other printer?

  • HP psc 2175 all-in-one 'internal unexpected error"msg when I try to scan

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver three times as well as restarting the program and my PC and I still have this error. I get the error no matter what program, I am trying to scan to.  However, I can copy documents so the scanner works - it just won't ommunicate to other software programs.

    When I ran the HP print and Scan doctor, I was instructed that the driver is unable to communicate with the product, but this has not been resolved by uninstalling & reinstall the driver such as already mentioned.

    He said also the "Twain" component may be damaged and a problem was found with the HP Digital Imaging Monitor.  Still, the uninstalling/reinstalling does not fix this problem.

    If the problem persists after you perform the steps described in the document, try to scan via printers & faxes if you have Windows XP or devices and printers, if you have Windows 7/8. You can find it via the control panel. Here, you should have an icon for the scanner PSC 2175 (he probably called something like PSC 2170 series).

  • All-in-One Photosmart 3210 error messages

    When it works the 3210 did a wonderful job. I am running Vista Home Premium on an HP Pavilion a6234x Desktop PC, automatic updates from Microsoft. Starting and restarting, I consistenly get an error as follows: "worker HPProduct - the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource. Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package "hpproductassistant.msi 'in the box below."

    I tried both of the suggested points, but the 3210 continues to be unusable. I uninstalled and reinstalled a dozen times using HP downloads Web site. Every time, the download and installation are shown to be successful and the unit is 'Ready to use'. I took care to specify (if requested) I'm on Vista Home Premium. The ink cartridges are full, it lights correctly, the paper is loaded, etc.. The HP Print diagnostic utility always displays a problem with the Print Queue. When it is fixed and I delete or don't delete pending print jobs and try to print to aqgain, the printer does not always work and goes back to work stuck in the queue for printing impression. Printing a test page also does not work. I ran my anti-virus program, Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool and Windows Defender, with a deep analysis and complete. All have resulted in no malware found. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    It was purchased in March 2006 and until a year ago, has been used on another computer running Windows XP, SP2.

    With regard to the question of the "HPProduct Assistant - the component you are trying to use," click here to solve. As you experience the problem HPProduct Assistant, find and highlight this product HP Assistant in the window cleaning of Windows, and then select Delete. Restart your computer after you complete these steps to check if the window is no longer reappear.

    And in the issue of the print queue, try this:
    > start
    > all programs/programs

    > Accessories

    > right click on command prompt

    > select run as administrator
    > enter the following command in the command prompt window
         SC CONFIG SPOOLER DEPEND = RPCSS start = Auto

    then press on enter key on your keyboard, then exit

    Let me know if they work...

    I have a HP officejet printer 7580 all-in-one with the error message "the following ink cartridges appear to be missing or damaged. Magenta (M) "I followed the instructions on the HP site troubleshooting, first changing the magenta cartridge, clean the electrical contacts on the print head, then replace the printhead and I still get the same error message.» I then removed the cartridge yellow and still only had the same error message about the magenta cartridge, even after restarting the printer. In my view, that it must be a problem with the software or the chip of the computer on the printer itself. Someone at - it suggestions for me?

    Looks like you did a lot of troubleshooting for the cartridge error number.  The areas of print head and cartridge are separated in the OJ series L7580 printer, so the effect print head not this error.  The error comes from the electrical contact with the cartridge in question, appears magenta of the post.

    Follow the steps described in the document, found here, to solve the problem and determine if the error comes from the cartridge or the electrical system internal printer.

  • HP psc1350 all-in-one: check printer cartridge error will not clear

    In the middle of printing of the check print cartridge light error came.  The cartridges are faily new and there has been no discoloration.  I tried to remove and reinsert the cartridges, disconnect the printer from the computer, disconnect the printer, press Cancel.  Error will not clear

    I understand that you have some problems with an error light on your PSC 1350 all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done, this document explains How to solve the blinking lights on the printer.

  • printer all in one HP psc 1315xi - cartridge error message

    I recently bought a used hp psc 1315xi all in one printer.  The printer is in very good condition and came with a HP 27 black inkjet print cartridge and a tricolor HP 28 inkjet cartridge.  Both cartridges are half full (my computer can read the levels until I try to print).  However, when I try to print something from my MacBook Pro an error message that says the black print cartridge (and then soon followed by cartridge three colors) is not compatible with the printer.

    I checked the cartridges, and certainly they are supposed to work with this printer.  I tried cleaning and even uninstall the printer from my computer software but nothing has worked.  I don't understand how the printer can read how much ink is left in the cartridges but goes on to say that the cartridge is not compatible.  Please help me.  I don't want to buy new cartridges and it just happen again (and be $50 more poor).

    I've tried everything and still get error messages that continue to change so I can say that things are get cleaned but this cartridge is just not good. I ordered more than HP 78 and 78XL cartridge. If they show mistakes I'll let you know. Thanks for the suggestions, there was one that I had not tried before so I will certainly remember.
