  You can try to submit a PDF file, but it may not meet the requirements of the other editor.

  You can also export the pages in JPEG format. You may need to crop in Photoshop and re-import them in LR and export.

  Apple print is more books iPhoto.  If you want your book printed by Apple, extract the pages of your PDF file in JPEG format, for example in the overview.

  Then create a new photo book in News Photos from Apple for Mac application.  Just use the JPEG format you got from your book pictures full page in a new book of photo.

• iBooks books & PDF documents not display/sync with iTunes

  I'm under iBooks 1.5 and iTunes 12.3.3.17 on MacOS 10.11.4 (which should be the latest updates of all the software and OS). I noticed that when I try to load a PDF file or books stored in iBooks on a device (iPhone6 more and iPad2) that many of my books and all my PDF files are missing from iTunes, sync to device window. Effectively, this means that I can not load PDF or ePub on my devices content. Has anyone else noticed a similar problem?

  I have about 90 PDF stored in iBooks, but when I search for them in iTunes it appears zero (see screenshot).

  

  Similarly, I noticed several ePub books have disappeared, some are in Collections, some are not.

  I've not seen this error before (IE; "I was always able to locate PDF files and books through iTunes to synchronize with my devices).

  Someone at - it ideas? This is made useless iBooks.

  Try to go to System Preferences and then in the iCloud settings. From there, go to options to readers in the iCloud and uncheck iBooks.app.

  It seems that apple doesn't support not use iCloud Drive to synce no ibooks bought books.

  Edit: Just checked again, and the problem persists with PDF files, even if the non-ibooks purchased ebooks reappear...

• BI Publisher produced empty PDF in Word

  When you load a model and example of XML in MS Word 2007, BI Publisher produces a blank template when I try to convert it to .pdf. If I load the model into Oracle, the corresponding simultaneous program will produce the desired effect. I also tried to create a new model with just the master key and convert it to .pdf. Still just a blank page. I use the generator model for Word 10.1.3.2.1.

  The underlying issue is that the model begins with an 'if' statement that requires an input parameter, which would normally come to the simultaneous program. Once the 'if' is commented, an appropriate sample of XML has worked.

• Adobe Captivate project is published as a PDF print issue

  Does anyone have instructions to print a project, Adobe Captivate imported from a PowerPoint presentation and published in PDF format so that several slides are printed on a single page? It seems that the PDF recognizes the project as a single page and not several pages, so I'm not able to print multiple slides on a single sheet of paper. Appreciate any help.

  There is some confusion: you can publish to PDF, which will result in an interactive pdf.

  If you want to print a file, you must use the file, print. You can choose handouts. But it will be in the word (the model is not very nice).

  I'm running into this error on OBIEE BI Publisher 11.1.1.7 I designed a report editor and every time I have spend in PDF, HTML, RTF view, I get this error.

  The report cannot be made because of an error, please contact the administrator. Detail of the error java.lang.NullPointerException

  I don't know how to find more information or to see whence the error.  Anyone know where to look?     I use a unique Data Source.  I can see the whole of the end report using the report editor.  A test, I deleted all the pie charts, tables, etc., and always happens with this error message.  However, if I delete the whole grid layout (and throw in some garbage text element) it works fine.  Totally confused.

  More information of diagnosis available here: diagnosis and follow-up of performance - 11 g Release 1 (11.1.1) - I would like to start bumping at the journal level until you get a message from exploitable root cause in the log files. Even if you draw a white to its solution, at least it gives you something to take to a SR (or find a way to workaround).

  I would also do a search on MOS for all bugs for this behavior.

  With the creative cloud quick release cycle, your book will be expired a few months after hitting the shelves.   At the time where the software has been updated every 18 mos, it was possible for authors and publishes to make books available as new software has been released.  Now, with the changes that occur 2 to 3 times a year, this is changed.  Online tutorials are probably your best resource.  Also, see the What's New Articles to stay on recent changes.

  Adobe Reader is a PDF reader.

  Adobe Reader cannot create a PDF file, can not handle the content of a PDF page and can not export the contents of a PDF page.

  To create PDF from the Publisher files buy and install Acrobat. This will install the Adobe PDF virtual printer.

• Book PDF Export - purge disappears;  The individual files are very well

  I have a problem with the purge after the export of my book. I have an InDesign book including 8 files. After preflight, when I select "Export book to PDF", lost the document background parameters are not met. The purge is cut on the crop marks.

  "Export as Adobe PDF" settings are:

  Marks the selected printer:

  Landmarks of crop Type: default

  Registration marks weight 0.25 pt

  Color Offset 0.125 bars

  Purge and Sug:

  Use Document bleed settings (which are all 0.125)

  After that I exported this (AS A BOOK) bleeding do not arise. Everything is cut on the crop marks. But if I export the individual files that make up the book, it appears just as expected, that the same export Adobe PDF Settings.

• InDesign CS5 - workflow Book PDF

  I am trying to create an InDesign book that is supposed to be considered only on the web. They are faced with pages as the design requires pages to display side by side. There is a problem, however, with chapters that have an uneven amount of pages. The page does not flow down to the next chapter, allowing a very clumsy-looking PDF.

  For example, the PDF file looks something like this, in which [[]] is a spread and [] is a single page.

  I would like to be able to click on the PDF file and make it look more like this:

  Where all the "spreads" are visible rather than having a few screens of page unique scraggling.

  Is there a way to get pages all flowing together once I have to export it to PDF? Will I have to manually go through each page in order to ensure that they are pasta spread?

  So far, I've modified my documents so that all pages start to page 2, eliminating the only page to "cover", but at the end of the chapter still causing me trouble.

  Spreads are built into the PDF file during export, so if there are an odd number of pages in the file, you will get a single page, or if you have an even number and start the chapter on a right-hand page, you will get two unique pages. Acrobat will not combine pages.

  You have two choices, combine your chapters into one file before exporting it, or export as single pages and let acrobat view side-by-side. You can control the initial display settings in Acrobat Pro, so the book will still appear as two pages, opening, but you can't prevent a UserForm, change the view after the opening option, if you use the second method.

  You should think very carefully about your design and your viewers. Not all readers have young eyes or large screen. Personally, I find pages set to two columns to be very difficult to work on the screen as a consumer, and even less have to look at a full page spread.
