  This message indicates that you have not permission in writing to the destination directory.

  So:

  1. Determine the destination directory... go in the Lightroom import dialog box and note the location of this directory specified on the right side under "Destination".
  2. Go to your operating system and change the permissions on this exact directory have WRITE permission.

  -Install the fastest (slightly smaller) Seagate 500G 7200.  Has started the recovery with discs of recovery (5 in total who received from BestBuy, but not the OEM to the research), but before the new HARD drive is smaller than the original WD 640 G 5400.   Put WD #1 Bay and Seagate in #2.

  -Start the process of disk recovery.  Any resumption of the process of the plant and on the last drive-through, it says do not touch while the PC starts on and outside, etc.  Said so press on continue continue.

  -When the press continue, simply goes to the black screen with "No boot device...". »

  -Run the other options, the same message.

  -Diagnosis of ran.  Drive HARD everything is OK.

  Create a set of recovery disks operating system

  HP Recovery Manager to create a personal set of recovery disks. When you select the recovery disc creation process, the HP Recovery Manager examines the PC and determines how many virgins DVD discs will be necessary. In case this happens, without loss of data occurs, or damage the computer. It just "stops" the process of recovery that the Recovery Manager to identify the blank disc.

  After all, the recovery disks are created, label the disks and store them in a safe place. If the recovery disks fail when creating or damaged, you can order replacement of HP recovery disks.

  The drive came with the laptop or you did it yourself in the recovery Partition?

  And you're supposed to boot from the recovery disc to start the recovery process.

  You change the Boot order to make the CD/DVD drive first in the boot order. Then, you start from the disc.

  I ordered the HP recovery discs as F11 will not work. I got 4 disks with one separated from the others. He said "use this first!   If the recovery discs came from HP or they are the ones that you made when the computer is new, then they will (or should) restore the computer to "like new" even on a new hard drive.
