Since the Smart keyboard uses the contacts of the Smart connector on the side of your iPad Pro, if you are having problems with intermittent or loss of connections, you can check the contacts as described in the following article:

  It would be good to keep my iPad Pro, pencil and Smart keyboard all together in the case of the keyboard, but if there is a way to store the pen that I still have to find out.  Somebody has a better chance?

  There is no way of storage designed into it. You'd have to invent and fixing something yourself. Band Velcro comes to mind.

  However on my new iPad Pro with the smart keyboard attached, I do not how to trigger the dictation from the keyboard.

  Unfortunately I had to spend a good hour on the phone with technical support when they finally admit that it was an oversight by Apple.  I hope someone reads this post until they spend countless hours trying to understand something, but has no solution at the moment. Frustrated!

  So I found workaround to get this working. The problem seems to be that the Autopassword/cut/paste/correction automatic bar becomes hidden on the software keyboard by default when you first use the Smart keyboard. To solve the problem and make the bar appear:

  1. go to a site or a domain on a site where the software keyboard would normally appear.

  2. unplug the smart keyboard.

  3. you will notice the bar is reduced to the minimum - unminimze it looks as you expect the software keyboard to look like.

  4. reconnect the Smart keyboard in iPad and you should see the keyboard disappears, but the bar remains as the screenshot below shows.

  

  Hope this helps... is not ideal, because this should be the default, but this seems to be a reasonable solution.

  I disconnected and then reconnected the Smart keyboard several times and did a hard reset on the iPad Pro. The last two days when the iPad is in mode 'sleep' vertical (with the keyboard behind him) he wakes up randomly.   Have you tried an another hard reset of your iPad by pressing the sleep/wake and Home buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release them buttons?

After that 9.2 updated Logitech Keyboard create on my iPad Pro is essentially unusable because I'll have to go back and difficulty both dropped by strikes, rearranged, letters, etc. There is also a noticeable delay when I type when the characters appear on the screen where before it was instant.   First thing I would try would be:

  Force the restart (does not affect the settings/data/music/apps/etc)

  1. press and hold the sleep/wake button

  2. press and hold the Home button

  3. hold both buttons until the screen turns off, then back on with the Apple logo.

  So forget the Bluetooth connection between the iPad Pro and the keyboard, the re - combine the two.
