  I've implemented a 1.4.2 Server hive so my boss could test and then sent him the end user PDF. Given that we are currently using Oracle calendar independent, we are mainly interested to test the component of management of the hive and generally by CalDAV clients.

  The doc is not too descriptive, is it :)
  The limit is not a limitation of server in itself, but rather a limit and it is based on each customer type.
  Basically, the test found that while some caldav clients manage a large number of meetings nicely other caldav clients do well. Hive so put a (configurable) limit on the number of meetings returned for each type of client caldav. Note that the 'meeting' includes, in this case, all occurrences of a meeting, so if for example you have 20 meetings that recur every week for a year which is counted as '20' not 20 "x 52" meetings. "."
  I think that the restriction is higher for iCal on Mac than for example sunbird and lightning. In addition, as customers improve their scalability and the handling of the large number of meetings, then the default limits will be increased accordingly.
  If you (or your boss) is absent from meetings for example sunbird, then please contact oracle support and they will explain how to increase this limit for the customer to your boss (for purposes of diagnosability, they'll miss 'this week' rather than going out in the future). I do not know the results of the latest tests for example lightning 0.9, but I suspect that 1000 is probably still too high.

  Click on the "invite guests" in the dialog box "new appointment". Enter the email addresses of the guests and availability should complete automatically. There is also a button "search time slot" that you will find time each other.

  I have a BSE consumer (name: ConsumerESB), that retrieves messages from a weblogic JMS queue and routes them to a BPEL (InvokedBPEL) process.
  The queue will get messages in mass 5000 requests at once and I need to implement the limitation to process applications slowly.
  
  
  Here's what I put.
  
  For the .esbsvc map file, I put
  
  minimumDelayBetweenMessages - 3000 (3 seconds behind should be there between each message)
  adapt. JMS. Receive.threads - 1
  DequeueTimeOut - 3
  
  According to the above definition, I think, a request must be sent by second and three seconds between two messages.
  But I don't see that past, I think I'm getting something like 4-5 requests per second.
  
  The limitation does not seem to work.
  
  Later, I tried the following options:

  I raised a SR with Oracle and discovered that the minimumDelayBetweenMessages property is only applicable for BPEL and not BSE. Therefore, I created a BPEL consumer instead of a BSE consumer and applied to the property of limitation. It worked.

  How the grace period is managed if an ESX host is turned off for a period of time, like a month, then power turn it back on and unable to reach the license server?  The grace period of 14 days begins when it is on, or ESX believes only started at the last moment that he was able to contact the server?

  I have a scenario where some hosts will be part of a mobile and potential system could not stay powered off during long periods of time.  I would like to put the license server in a virtual machine in order to avoid the additional equipment is necessary, but I won't be able to power on this virtual machine if the host was off more than 14 days and the grace period expires.  Someone at - it experience with this?

  I inadvertently tested earlier (turning off an ESX host with a virtual top license server and turning back on 18 days later after that I came back from vacation). The answer is as you put it to the point: you're in trouble since the host ESX cannot find a license server, therefore refusing to power on all virtual machines running (including the license server). In a mobile scenario, you should consider using licenses of the host instead of a license server (which runs on VI3 and vSphere 4).

  You can create the basis for this particular period and maintain baseline indefinitely. Until the base line is deleted with CASCADE-online set to TRUE, the snapshots will be kept.

  Initlization block SQLs is actually a physical SQL with the same syntax as your database. The SQL is executed as it is on the database of the initiliztion block. Check if you are using the right connection of the inilization block pool.

  Very delicate, but it can be done.

  1. create the view that returns all the week start date between guests (if you are on oracle play around with a select againts the object).

  2 bring this perspective as a dimension in your SPR and create a join dummy againts your fact table.

  3. in your report, use a box when determining if your period is valid or not.

  4 put in a PivotTable.
