PXI-1045 detects modules after reinstall

Recently, I uninstalled and reinstalled LabView and MAX, and now my PXI-1045 detects any installed cards. I reinstalled all the drivers and what not, but I can't seem to get the cards back to the top. Y at - it a step that I'm supposed to do?

There is no driver should perform the chassis appears in non - Express PXI MXI.  There is a driver for the MXI-4 kit, but it is installed by VISA as you saw.

The Windows Device Manager shows all the cards?  That will tell you if all the drivers are installed properly.  If they all appear in the Device Manager, then it's one thing to MAX configuration.  If this isn't the case, then get more drivers.

How long after reinstalling window 7 32 Home Premium does it take before that receive updates.

Should be immediately the minute that an Internet connection is detected. I would advise that you install updates Windows Update batch well. There are about 300 post SP1 updates, more if you have reinstalled the version Windows 7 RTM.

My recommendation would be to install updates in batches, these 5 at a time, exclude the hardware/driver updates. Avoid installing a set of updates for Microsoft Windows and Office at the same time. Also, try to install the first small updates. Avoid installing things like the .NET Framework and SQL Express updates.
Whenever you install updates (it's a chore, but it guarantees a more reliable experience). Try to start the Microsoft Office updates for programs such as (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Another thing, try to download the updates, and then install them. When you are prompted to restart, disconnect from the Internet and restart your computer.
To proceed with the installation of additional updates.
If the continuous computer to become unresponsive, try the following:

You can reset the Windows Update components by running the Fixit on this page.  But if there is malware present, she will continue to reset the connection to the update servers:

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously.  Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode.  Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers.  If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode.  Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.
I suggest before you stop and install the updates, disconnect from the Internet, first.

How to restore modules after a refresh in FF? Thank you!

How many modules, and what are they?

In some cases, it is easier to "resurrect" your old profile and use it for reference, because you can then see your old page Add-ons, or use the page to support information of cross-reference between the friendly names of the extensions and the unique ID of the file/folder (if you plan to copy by hand).

  • Cannot use my old firefox sync account after reinstalling

After reinstalling firefox I can't use my old Firefox Sync account. I am told that there is no such account here https://accounts.firefox.com and I created a new account with the same email as my old account.

After some research, I found this https://account.services.mozilla.com/ which I can connect with my old account.

Now, my problem is that I want to retrieve the information I had in my old sync and I can't find a way to do it.

In addition, because I lived the problems of severe performance using firefox, I deleted some files in my machine with Firefox (after uninstalling) including what appeared to be the location of the profile for firefox.

What is really important to me is: how to recover my old Firefox Sync account data or synchronize it with the new Mozilla account?

    Thank you
    V

Hello, firefox 29 and up is using a different synchronization system which is not compatible with the establishment of accounts in the old versions.

in this case, you'd probably have to use a workaround and download the version of firefox before 28, turn off the automatic update for the moment (in options > advanced > update), bind it to the old sync account (with user name, password & recovery key) and upgraded after you successfully restore your data in this way...

Install an older version of Firefox
Synchronize your bookmarks Firefox, history, passwords, etc.

  • Crasches Firefox and Thunderbird after reinstall

Today first Thunderbird crasched and after that, it was impossible to start Firefox or Thunderbird.
I removed all the programs from the PC (W7 64 bit) Mozilla and reinstalled a fresh installation. Both programs still crasches at startup.

Think the problem is resolved, restored to a restorepoint earlier and everything seems fine!
The only problem I found was that Thunderbird could not load XPCOM (?).
After reinstall TB that the problem has been resolved.

    Thank you for your support.

  • Calibration of the PXI - 2548 relay module

#1) where can I find the date when my PXI-2548 relay module was first calibrated?

(#2) y has different ways to calibrate this relay module and if yes what are?

(#3) combien of time should this relay module be calibrated?

    Thank you

    Julian

    Hi Julian,.

NI PXI-2548 requires no calibration because it does not all electronic components that can be calibrated.  Therefore, there is no calibration carried out, there is no way to calibrate the module, and there is no timetable for calibration.

Note that you can compensate for the loss of insertion of the passage on a per path basis.  These offsets typically include loss through cables and are carried out when the Board is placed in the system.  It is more than compensation compensation for 'switches + connectivity' system rather than a Board calibration; It is dependent on the system.  I recommend you do this compensation measure before proceeding with automated tests.

    I hope this helps!

    Hello

To work on the issue, consult these links.

Temporary connection related errors may occur when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update

Note: make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall after the test programs.

    Caution:
Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

After reinstalling you installed all the drivers for your system? For example for the motherboard (chipset), audio, video, LAN (network adapter) and so on?

If this isn't the case, you will need to do. Support web site of the manufacturer of the computer to check for the drivers for Windows XP for your model specific computer/specifications. You may need to get some drivers directly on the site of manufacturer support / Unit equipment for material or devices you have installed.

  • Restore access to My Documents after reinstalling XP, I get the message: 'access denied '.

Original title: restore access to My Documents after reinstalling XP

Recently, I acquired a virus with which Microsoft Security Essentials could not cope.  Then one day the computer refused to start.  I wrongly assumed that my hard drive was dead, so I installed a new HD and reinstalled Windows XP.  [Actually, I first tried the upgrade to Windows 7, because program upgrade windows 7 Microsoft has already said that my computer was compatible... but Windows 7 disk says otherwise!]  Then I tried to install the HD original in an another drive Bay and discovered it still worked, but I could not boot from it.  Apparently, the virus has killed the OS (Windows XP) but my files, programs and documents are still there.  The problem is that when I try to access my old "My Documents" folder, I get the message: 'access denied '.  I believe that this is because the files are stored in a password protected user account.  I know the password, but I do not know how to access the files.

I tried to create a user account on my new HD (with the operating system Windows XP reinstalled) with the same name and the password that I used on my original (with the Windows operating system XP corrupted) HD to create all the document files.  However, opening a session with this account name and password did NOT restore my access to the My Documents folder on my original hard drive.

I'm out of ideas.  Help, please!
