Q10 Q10 SIM BlackBerry stops after 1 h and only allows 911. But everything else works.

Heres my current SIM card question. My 3 yr old Q10 broken on me, he stuck in restart mode & guard just trying to restart then shuts off & trys again and again. So, I bought a replacement that has been varified locked on the sprint network. After updating, tranfering etc & insert my SIM active phone worked fine, after 5-10 min it rejects the SIM card & displays only 911 calls can be made. All work work within the phone at this moment here, receive calls, sms, internet, bbm surveys, but unable to make calls. I restart the phone & again it works very well, and then the same thing happens. New replacement SIM problem had delivered directly from sprint, still exist. Returned the phone & bought a replacement again, this time same problem accept last 1 hour then the same fact. Is it a matter of internal adjustment that ignores even the Sprint tech dept. Please someone help this Q10 lover back to blackberry'ing...

Sprint does not use sim cards only. You must configure your device to work with your account on Sprint. I think you can do so via your online account by following the instructions below. If this does not work, contact them and they should be able to help.

    The problem I have is that when I am playing a video file mp4 from my USB stick always stops at 2 hours and 6 minutes.

  • BlackBerry smartphone screen turns black in the Blackberry Bold 9900, but everything else, keys, touchpad screen and keyboard still works.

    It is a problem, I think that many have known, but there is no real solution to the problem. However, initially all of a sudden phone has begun to show an error (can't remember not exactly what, but something related to something does not turn) and the screen locked with constantly showing loading circling constantly clock and the narrowing of the battery quickly. what I've done; Hold the alt + right shift + del (twice) to restart the phone. Restarting the phone, the screen turns black (which indicates there is neither power or the screen itself issue and it's just a matter of graphics functionality). Finally, I decided to restore the Blackberry software (running the latest version 7.1) so I plugged it in to the computer and run terminal BlackBerry Desktop to perform an update failed with this error: "an error occurred when downloading the BlackBerry® Desktop software. Please try again. "and offered to launch the"regsvr32 ole32.dll"in order to connect to the Blackberry server to do the update. tried, restarted my PC, plug the unit again removing battery, replacement and tried again, keep showing the same error. I tried all the advice forums, youtube videos and even troubleshooting I contacted Microsoft (running windows 7 64-bit), server connection module installed and works perfectly still having the same problem.

    I hope that blackberry had a clear answer to these questions and have someone in the customer service who can solve the problem instead referring users to the forum!

    Anyone who had experienced the same problem and found a solution, please respond. your help would be much appreciated.

    The GPU is integrated into the cpu, so the phone would not ring or the touchpad does not work. It is possible that the phone fell or anything that could cause the connections on the motherboard to disconnect, I gave up my 9930 and causes the connector unplugs.   • E-mail from Q10 peripheral blackBerry control the Server - / unread and delete!

    My problem is that my BB Hub seems to have complete control over my web mail server.  In other words, whenever I delete an email in my Inbox BB Hub, it removes the enamel on my server as well.  It is a huge problem for me, with regard to the last ten years, I was in the habit of deleting e-mails on my device once I read them and then to remedy later in my office, where messages were also pulled down by Outlook (or, when I travel, I can go online and see the messages online through my web server directly).  It is more than a mere preference: it is essential to be able to read some emails on a normal sized screen.  The small screen of a phone just doesn't cut it sometimes.

    Another problem I have is that my BB Hub inbox marks all messages as "read", before even that I read them.  And, when I mark not 'read', it makes them pop back up on my server.  It is also more than a minor annoyance: when you get 300-500 emails per day, it's really hard to keep track of what you've read and what you do not have when all of them are marked as 'read '.

    Is it possible to divorce my server online ordering of the Q10?  Put on 'manual' and 'push' sync will not work.

    If you are unable to use Outlook and BB10 and yet messages come not "read" for your device, then that adds a major drawback.  Maybe I'm not fairly warned with Outlook, but I don't think that it will allow you to pull down messages from the server and let them still "no read" on this server.  You can leave a copy of the original message on the server, but you can't leave it in a State "unread".  This will prevent the Z/Q10 have unread messages on its screen (if you use Outlook on your desktop).

    And you're on the dangerous territory to be able to permanently delete the messages from the server, removing them from your device.  The BB has always been an additional tool, not a replacement for the desktop environment.  If I can no longer delete messages I've read the until I'm sure that they have been pulled down from the server and saved by Outlook, this will result in a much more crowded Inbox on a daily basis and so more time it cleaning at the end of each day.  BB was supposed to add for convenience, not diminish it.

    BB10 is nothing like inheritance, so expect that it would work as legacy is for the disappointment. Legacy devices used BIS, which provided all the functions you mention. BB10 doesn't use BIS and instead has a client full email on the device, which works the way it is designed.

    It is clear from everything you describe, WAD - works as expected. The mailbox on the device and the server are supposed to now be images of mirror each other... whatever you do one account to another. There is no way to replace it, since it's WAD.

    Workarounds exist using the server folders to move things rather than delete them. Workarounds are heavy, but they are what they are. The design of the device, it's what it is.

    Many hope that future updates can bring some of these features to the BB10 platform, but no one can say if/when this will happen. For now, it is what it is.

  • How can I stop after a slide and require a next button to continue?

    In collaboration with CP5 for Mac. I have therefore about five slides with a voiceover narration. I can't understand how to make the whole show stops when a slide is over and require the user to press the button forward to start at the next slide. I am using the PlayBar Captivate provides, which I tweaked in the skin Editor (changed colors for most). Looks like it should be easy, but miss me where this setting is. I clicked on the slide in the timeline panel and then in the Actions pane, I chose "No Action" on the output. It has been previously set to 'Go to the next slide.'

    Captivate the default behavior is to read the content as if it were a movie.  If you want to stop, you need to force it to do by clicking on the button pause on the playback bar, or you can set to stop at some point by adding an interactive object such as a click box or the key to the chronology of Captivate and dragging the point of break for this object.  Then, when the user clicks on the button or box, the break is released and the film will continue to play.  The great thing about all this is that you can also define actions to perform when the user clicks the interactive objects.  So instead of just continue reading, you can also opt to go directly to a totally different slide if you want.

    It might take a bit of getting used to, but once you understand how Captivate works, it is really very powerful and provides a lot of creative scope.

The last thing I did before that I noticed this problem is to download a ringtone via my browser and set it so that's what someone means when they call me (before i pickup.) When I call my phone, I get the Lady saying that I can listen to music while I wait for someone to answer. I can hear it even ring through the other phone between a break in music...

    Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    Method 2: Remove the scanner and install it again.

    a. click the Start button and then right click on my computer. Click on properties.

    b. click on the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

    c. to see scanners that have been added to the computer, double-click imaging devices.

    d. right-click on the name of the scanner and then click Uninstall.

Please note that the precise way of closing of Firefox's file (Alt + F) > exit and would usually take a few seconds depending on the history of the parameters of compensation to Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Privacy > settings next to clear history of Firefox closing.
