• FB4.5 very slow Code completion

  I use to write all my code in Flash Professional to package-level classes.  in fact, I have not used the timeline over the years I've done almost everything in the code.  so, following the advice of others, I decided to make the leap to Flash Builder.

  the main problem I'm having with Flash Builder 4.5 is that code completion takes about a second to appear, while in Flash Professional CS5 it is instantaneous.  for example, if I said a new shape type:

  var s:Shape = new Shape();

  [code completion here.]

  as soon as I write ' s. ' I immediately expect all possible methods and functions of the Shape class as is the case when you use Flash Professional CS5.  Flash Builder 4.5 it is however a significant delay.

  In addition, I became used to quickly filter the possibilities of realization of code by typing the first letters of the desired method or the functioning of the Forum.  so, using the previous example, if I wanted to 'graphic' , that I often type:

  var s:Shape = new Shape();

  s.gra end //[code here] then press press or to return to finish.

  This works perfectly in Flash Professional CS5, which I was told repeatedly that it is a much lower Flash Builder code editing.  but in Flash Builder 4.5 if I start typing "s.gra" no code change is displayed at all!  I'm literally forced to wait the code hinting window to fill once I typed ' s. ' before you can start typing "arg" editor for full "graphic design" for me.

  for easier editing of Flash Builder features don't (as far as I can see) well within Flash Professional, it is quite shocking.  I hope there is a fix for this.

  Automatic Code hinting activation takes about 200ms ideally. You can

  customize this in the preferences-> FlashBuilder-> - activate the editor after:

  Press the CTRL + SPACE shortcut to explicitly call code hinting.

  Partially typing a property of an object used the popup code hints. To trigger

  code hints for each character that you need to check the preference in

  Preferences-> FlashBuilder-> editor-> trigger custom additional use.

• Flash.* break not no projection in code completion

  I just installed Flex Builder 3 on my computer at home, and almost none of the classes in the flash.* appear in code completion. The only one that offers code completion is flash.errors. None of the others are there. All classes in the mx.* seem to work well.

  The problem is that on the code completion. If I manually type flash.display.MovieClip, he finds the MovieClip class at compile time, no problem.

  I have a copy of Flex builder 3 work very well at work.

  Anyone know what is the problem and how to fix it?

• Don't Flex Builder 3 Code Completion

  I don't know yet where post this question... it is related to the Flex + ColdFusion, but it is actually a matter of Flex Builder 3. So, I hope this is right? I saw a forum specific to Flex Builder.
  
  In any case, I am using Flex with ColdFusion, but when I switch to CFEclipse perspective in Flex Builder 3, code completion doesn't work anymore. It works very well with just a regular Eclipse installation. I also have Adobe CF for Flex Builder 3 extensions. This is a new installation in the last two weeks, so plugins are all to date. I don't want to have to use 2 IDEs in conjunction to encode my Flex applications. Anyone else have problems with Flex Builder 3 plugins and code completion?

  Too bad! If anyone has this problem, I just found out. Right-click on the project and select "Add/Remove of the CFE Nature" and it works. Sorry to bother...

• RC1 problem closing Code completion auto-BUG?

  I just installed 63,41 (with JDK included) and noticed that when the end of code window appears, I can't press the ESC key to close. He was not doing this in 63.10 so either I have a problem of shortcut keys or it is a bug. I couldn't find shortcuts which seemed related, but I could be wrong. Any ideas?

  I checked and I don't have the problem: by pressing ESC closes properly code completion popup on the same version as you (63,41).
  In my keyboard shortcut settings, Esc is associated with the command "code editor / Cancel", which I assume must be the default configuration (I have has not edited it), any chance she might be linked to another command in your settings shortcut on your computer?
  Otherwise... no idea what it could be ^_^

• Code completion and intellisense, where did you go?

  For some unknown reason my code completion/intellisense stopped working. I have tried everywhere to find solution to this online, but have found nothing about how activate or deactivate. Please notify. I use a mac, if that helps with educational input.

  Nevermind, I just deleted the project (not the content) of flex. Created a new project and set everything back up and wow! He's back. Weird! Thanks for all the help.

  I find that, because of the removal of the text of JDeveloper, I end up having to think if I would rather manually type the name of the tag (not use AutoComplete) or retyping the text following (use completion) whenever I insert a tag in my xml documents.

  Will there be features like the completion of automatic code or automatic addition of the closing for the JavaScript Code brackets or automatic adding of tags in html? (Or just found them?)

  For the closing HTML tags specifically, there is a patch which we can merge soon which would add this feature.  If you are familiar with Git, feel free to pull down the patch and give it a try!

• Remove the string of code completely

  I tried several times to find this code below and replace it with nothing. I'm removing the add-on option basket of all the product pages. I used find with wildcards but do not know what I am doing wrong.

  Also I tried to paste the code below different ways to visualize correctly but nothing has worked as well.

  Basically just want to remove this code. He has an article in the code number. That's what I used the wildcard for. This seems to be the only difference in the chain of the form of the code.

  I used [^ ""]* for the wildcard. I tried just using the Toilet where is the item number. I tried to use the entire string, leaving only the form <>< / form >.

• Completion of CF8 Code on Vista problem

  Area of work: Running XP Pro, CF8 & DW8: new tags for CF8 (cflayout, etc...) are appearing fine in the menus code completion list when coding.
  
  Laptop: using Vista Home Premium, CF8, DW CS3. CF8 installed and works fine but when I'm coding in DW CS3 the NEW CF8 tags do not appear in the list menu code completion (code indicators?), all the CF7 tags are still there. Not a show stopper but it's boring. Even when I type the complete tag in (i.e. cflayout) is not same color code in the form of tag CF.
  
  Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is and how I can fix the problem? There are some files that might not have installed correctly when I installed CF8 on my Vista box? If Yes can I copy my XP box and put them in the Vista box?

  I didn't honestly know any expansion CF8. Perhaps because the code completion works fine in DW8 with CF8, I thought it would be the same in DW CS3.

  I guess I'd find their relative to the Exchange?

  Hello, so I downloaded the blocks of code with the xcode and the command line, I disabled the code completion and keyboard shortcuts (btw, I have blocks of code 12.11) and when I try the default project in the terminal appears this thing:what is happening?

  It is not so much a question of Code::Blocks because it is a command line.  When you use the command line, spaces are used to delimit the parameters and options, but cite your file path or escape spaces in the name.
