  At a first of all welcome to the Toshiba Support forum. I hope that you will find here information quite useful.

  Back to your question: I checked the Qosmio specification and there is that your device needs to follow the described parts:
  Power adapter - PA2521E-2ACA or PA2521U-2ACA (90W)
  Battery - PA3285U

  I put t know in which country you live but if there is no Toshiba service partner you can order directly by them. Another way to check if you can find some offereor online in your country where you can order the parts you need. I'm sure you can find some not Toshiba universal AC adapt, but I prefer the use of original parts.

  I just bought the F10 - nice, but there are a lot of problems... Does anyone know where to find the levels of the drivers & BIOS that are installed in your machine? I want to make sure I have the latest - as have some backlevel drivers can cause problems. There is no need to download the drivers of the database if you already later!

• Y460 update drivers Help Needed

  Hi, I tried to update my drivers recently on my Y460 and receive errors so I hope someone can help.

  I'm running Windows7 64 bit with the HD5650.

  I run that in4vdo08ww5.exe downloaded on drivers Lenovo website. I get a pop-up box saying: access denied.

  WinDVD WinDVD Creator applications are part of the recovery image and may not be downloaded or installed separately.

  You can also use other applications to watch DVDs like PowerDVD or something similar. I suppose your option of Windows isn't MCE and in this way, you need other applications to watch TV. I'm not familiar with TV tuner built in Japanese units, but I heard that Japanese units have TV tuner that can be used all over the world.

• Controller drivers/video display Qosmio F10-136

  I'm in the middle of reinstalling everything on my computer laptop Qosmio F10-136. I used the Toshiba site display drivers. However, in the video controller Device Manager shows an error, and the drivers are not installed. The graphics card is a nVidia GeForce FX go5700. Scrolling up and down pages in Internet Explorer is very slow.

  Also when I go to display settings-advanced-adapter graphics card properties is not displayed under adapter type.

  Someone knows what's the problem? I need to download the drivers to elsewhere?

  The graphics driver on the European driver Toshiba page works and can be installed correctly.
  I think you did something wrong.

  Try to reinstall the graphics driver again.

  Remove the graphics controller from the list of Device Manager and restart the laptop.
  Then try to reinstall the driver again. I recommend to install in the Device Manager.
  Choose graphics card, update driver, and then point to the downloaded graphics driver and complete the installation.

• Qosmio F10: Edition of USB-mouse - how can I reinstal drivers USB port?

  I am the owner of a Qosmio F10 with Win XP MCE.

  I have recently encountered problems with my USB ports I have 3 in my computer. It began with one of them and has now spread to the rest of them.

  The problem occurs especially with my mouse. The mouse freezes and sometimes I hear the alarm which is generally issued when disconnected a device. Sometimes it restarts seconds later and sometimes I have to physically unplug my mouse and plug it back in to restart.

  The problem also occurred with other devices that is my Ipod.

  The problem could be related to lack of memory because it seems to me see more during the execution of the programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, etc., however I can't say that for sure.

  Can I reinstal the drivers for the USB ports? I tried reinstalling my driver of mouse, with no effect.

  Please note that I cannot go into 'Control panel' I get an error message and closes the window.

  I hope someone can help me.

  USB drivers are part of the Windows operating system. 3rd party USB drivers don t exist!
  What you could do is to disconnect all USB devices and could remove the USB ports/hubs/controllers in Device Manager.

  Reboot the laptop.
  After restarting again the operating system should recognize and install again the USB ports.

  AFAIK the Qosmio F10 needs SATA drives
  I think that you should find these information in the user manual, or here in the forum, use the search option and you will get a few discussions about the HDD F10

  However, these 2.5 SATA HDD can be bought from dealers for different laptop/computer or online (online store).
  You do not need to buy a Toshiba HDD usually, you can use different hard drives from different manufacturers, but the plug of HARD drive be right!

I downloaded the drivers available on the Toshiba site, but I did not install all the drivers except the wireless LAN.   Do you have what OS installed on your Qosmio laptop?
  AFAIK the F10-136 is a European model and so you can download all drivers here:
  http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

  If you use Windows XP, you can find the installation instructions document. Use this list as a recommended driver installation order.
  Usually the drivers must be installed first, and then Tools. You should start with the chipset drivers.

• Qosmio F10: How to get help "wake up on Lan.

  Anyone who manages to get working on a Qosmio F10 WOL?
  I found that the power management tab is missing from the properties of Intel (r) PRO/100 VE. Therefore cannot check the "allow this device to wake the computer from sleep mode.
  Read the Intel site that is said to try to uninstall & reinstall the drivers if the power management tab is missing, that I did with a new & the OEM driver, I downloaded from intel, but it did not work.
  The other parameters of WOL under the advanced settings TAB, all seem to be there.

  Before going any further I was wondering if anyone has had this works?
  If not someone from Toshiba can confirm the Bios & motherboard WOL support with built in the Lan card F10?

• Qosmio F10 - devices USB is not recognized correctly

  I had major problems with the USB ports on my Qosmio F10. Everytime I try to plug in a USB device, the F10 recognizes there is only something there, but always categorizes him as an unknown device.   The entries in Device Manager look ok.
  If the laptop recognizes the USB device, so everything is ok. If the device appears as an unknown device in Device Manager, you need a driver in particular. Sometimes, the external device needs a driver that should be supplied with the device.

  I assume you are using the Toshiba Recovery CD. In this case then phone has pre-installed all the drivers needed and you don t need the 3rd USB controller drivers.

• Graphic problem on my Qosmio F10
