Qosmio F15-201: old BIOS version required

Well, I changed my original BIOS and then ran into problems.
And I did not backup old.
So I need a new.

Please help me on where it is located?
This is for a Toshiba Qosmio F15 201 with a GeForce fx 5700 with 128 MB of memory.

Here is some information on my card, it's a GeForce Go 5700 on an AGP interface and coming from Toshiba which offers a NV36 chipset and 128MB memory.

If someone even card please copy bios original file and sent...

Thanks in advance.

Hello

The laptop should generally run without problem after the update of the BIOS. The new update of the BIOS is improved and I put t know why you need an older version of BIOS.

I doubt that the questions that appear on your laptop might be linked to the new BIOS.

However, if you need an earlier version of BISO then you can also contact the ASP in your county and ask for these files.

Good luck

So I really hope someone has a url or local @ their pc file.
I tried reading the forums here and see many mistakes after the update to 4.2 either stop fan or he runs at full speed.

    Hello

Thus, as a first step: 100 degrees celsius are false. SpeedFan and another of programs like this are usually 20 to 30 degrees higher then in real-time. We checked this home with another brand of laptop with a similar problem and we he measured with special equipment.

Regarding your problem: do you have that you have installed some third-party drivers from other sites? Finally, it would be a reason why the FAN won´t burp more since the VGA drivers play a really important role concerning the whole cooling system in your machine.

Please try with the original toshiba drivers or recover your machine, maybe it helps...

    Welcome them

  • Satellite A500-1E4 (PSAR9E) - noisy fan stops is never (BIOS version 1.60)

Hello from the Czech Republic, I have also problem with noisy fan on my new Satellite A500-1E4 (PSAR9E) (i430M, GT330M) on 64-bit Windows 7 over Office Standard - see http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=46719&start=165&tstart=0.

Today I have updated the bios to 1.60 (from 1.20) and there has been no change. When the laptop powered to the top of the adapter in all modes the fan is running at 60-70% (sometimes at 90% - my office is perhaps quieter :-(). What laptop power battery in normal fashion fan and high performance race to 60-70% (loud sound) and in the economy mode to 80% (very noisy). It's crazy that in economic mode produce more noise than mode high performance. The CPU temperature is cca. 37-43 C, GPU 48-57. Fans of course never stops and all it's standart office. No intensive work or games. I can't imagine in games.

Can someone help me please, I'm really helpless. Or this fixes only bios 1.30 and next version not?

    Hey Buddy,

I think that it of really difficult to say why this happens, but in my opinion you should provide more details about your operating system and drivers.
Are you running the Toshiba factory settings or you have installed another OS?
Fan sometimes high activity is due to a different display driver. Have you installed the latest display driver form Toshiba (NOT nvidia)?

Old BIOS versions, you can get an authorized service provider

BIOS F.25 should be the old BIOS version before this update.

Download the BIOS from the link below and run this file to the system in BIOS previous flash.

  • X 201 BIOS version 1.23

I recently bought a Lenovo X 201 and was a bit confused when I looked and saw that the BIOS version was the one that is not yet published on the Lenovo Web site. I can only imagine the loading system technology grabbed a file from the file shares that are used during the build process which is beta.  Here are the BIOS DMI data.  I downgraded from 1.22.

All works in this or know what patches of 1.23 and when it will be available?

  • Qosmio X 770-access BIOS

I have a Qosmio X 770 that running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. I can't access the BIOS. Turning the power on, press F2 brings up the options "start windows 7", "Diagnosis of memory startup" or "Press F8. F8 then gives the normal safe mode options. Selecting F12 to the beginning toward the top, does nothing. The selection of some other keys at startup to replicate by pressing F2.

HWsetup allows some access to the BIOS, which allows me to change from fast to slow start and to change the boot order, but nothing I've tried so far allow me access to the BIOS before starting Windows with the exception of removal of the C drive.

The problem exists with the old BIOS and exist with the hard update. I don't know when the problem began, he did years that I finally tried to access. My most previous system restore point, for some reason, only goes back to September 2, just before I made an image of the system. Restore to this point has not helped.

I can't think of anything else that might be relevant for the moment.

I thought of something else, the Toshiba start screen does not show in a safe, Normal, or fast.

I m afraid you won't find older BIOS versions for download on the pages of Toshiba I have found that the latest versions of BIOS.

If you want you could contact the partner of service allowed in your country and ask if it of possible to get older versions of BIOS

But look, man. I doubt that an older BIOS would support or contains a few additional options or settings that are not available in the latest BIOS.

    Hello

Driver Toshiba page provides two versions of the BIOS: one for Vista 5.10 and one for XP 1.50
Both are available on the page so what's the problem?

You must choose a laptop right dude! Your Satellite M70-340 seems to be a part of the PSM70 series! Check it out!

Something more: on the page, you will also find the XP installation instructions. You must follow these steps and you need to install the drivers in this order. This is important if you want to use the phone with all the features of Toshiba!

  • Portege R400 - where to find the old BIOS?

    Hi all

I inherited a R400 Prototype of one of our guys to laboratory here at the office and made the mistake of flashing the BIOS to 1.5 of Windows.
Now, I get a black screen and a power indicator light flashes.
The old BIOS was 0.6 and I can't seem to find one or even a version prior to 1.5 on the web.

Anyone happen to have a pointer to the older versions? Maybe on an FTP server, so I can try to flash?

    Thank you

Official website of Toshiba, you can download the latest version of the BIOS. In addition it of not possible to downgrade the BIOS.

In any case, to downgrade the BIOS, you must contact an ASP. They can downgrade the BIOS with an earlier version if you wish.
On the Toshiba site, you can search with ASP:
