  For someone else who has the same problem as me unfortunately its not good news. To use the help link in the post previous I understand now, is that my system is not compatible.

  When I bought my laptop it came with acrobat 8, at a later stage, I changed the OS to be MS Office Home and Student 2010. This must have been the point that the PDF Maker has stopped working although I discovered this now.

  According to the link above help Word 2010 is no longer compatible with Acrobat X and later. If the create a PDF to a word document function will never work now. Emptied!

  Well, this may be due to 2 things:

  1. you don't have enough RAM to run all the processes on your system, you must add more RAM.

  2. you have viruses or worms currently running on your system, you will need to install a program antivirus or scan your system with the MRT (windows malware removal tool), to run it, open the system32 directory in the windows folder, then search for MRT, first, run a quick scan, if you find something, then you should run a full system scan and it may take some time.   Pleas can you tell us what Toshiba notebook you bought?

  You wrote on downgrade to Windows XP. Have you also tried a Microsoft Windows XP disc or just the Toshiba disk? In my opinion you should try it with another disc.

  Normally it shouldn't t happen on a new laptop, then you can contact the dealer or authorized service provider. Maybe you can get a new one, or it will be repaired, because it is not under warranty.

  First a simple question: are you sure that your laptop supports Bluetooth?
  AFAIK the Qosmio F20-155 was delivered without the BT module.

  In addition, if you are not sure if the phone has BT then you can check the bottom of the unit. It should be placed a label BT if the Bluetooth has been installed.
