  I tried the upgrade memory RAM in Toshiba Qosmio F20-136. There is a 512 MB 2Rx16 PC2-4200 s-444-12-A3 Samsung, and I've found that 1 one slot works properly. I can install 1GBM RAM in slot 1 and that market but when I install the same Kingston 1 GB or same oryginal Samsung 512RAM in slot 2, this does not work, the computer starts.
  BIOS is 1.40 worm.

  What it wrong?

  Is the second slot defective or there is a compatibility issue.
  Is the Kingston RAM of the same type as the original (DDR2 400 / 533 MHz)?

• Qosmio F20 won't start - power light flashes orange

  My Qosmio F20-149 crashed yesterday and I was not able to get it working again.   First, you will need to identify the cause of the closures (I assume you get a blue screen error followed by a re-boot). You can do this by disabling the automatic restart facility so that the system stops on the blue screen.

• Decent analog output of my Qosmio F20-154

  I use my Qosmio as a Microsoft Media Center with my TV connected via VGA output. It gives me a pretty good image.

  However, my TV does not support most of the modes of zoom for VGA; or it does for DVI or HDMI.

  So I tried the image output via S-Video - which produces a shitty and unacceptable photo.

  Unfortunately, Qosmio has no TV output, so I can't try it.

  So, does anyone know of a piece of hardware that can be used to make the Qosmio to produce a decent analog output, such as TV-Out (antenna) or Composite?

  As far as I know you have only two options to send the video signal.

  Qosmio F20 supports viga video and s-video ports.
  So either you will use the video VGA (15-pin) port or output video super TV (S-Video) 4pol mini to connect the TV to the laptop...

  I have connected my laptop to the TV also using the s-video port and the photo quality is OK.

  Please check you s-video cable and if possible test another in addition, I would recommend check some settings on the TV and s-video option

  I turned on the game, uninstalled IE11 from Windows Update and reinstalled IE11 using offline Installer.

  The games and IE11 work.  IE11 appears even to turn features Windows turn on or off.
