Qosmio F30 starts with blue stripes during Vista boot screen

My Qosmio F30-114 runs for years without problem with Vista Ultimate.

In recent days, there is a huge problem.

The Qosmio starts with blue stripes during vista boot screen.

So I deleted the driver for the graphics card and used the standard vga driver for the card. the wizard of material found one driver on the system.
For a brief moment, I was very lucky.

After a reboot, there was a blue screen. After the next restard again once the driver to the standard vga card.

What can I do?

The download section of toshiba has no drivers for graphics card.
And really... I wonder - how it works every year without problems...

Someone at - it a solution?

thanx

toshibalover ;-)

Hello!

First you have this problem on an external monitor too or only on the screen internal? Maybe it s is not a graphics card problem so check it with an external monitor.

I checked the Web from Toshiba site and I can find drivers for the Qosmio F30:

Good bye

  • Remove vista boot screen

    Hello

I'm planning a check disk to run at reboot, but I couldn't see the activity and results of the operation of check disk because of the vista boot screen.  I never noticed this problem before.  However, I wonder if anyone knows how to disable.

I thought about the gui option not via the msconfig Panel. But if I remember that this simply deletes completely out the screen during the boot process.

    Thank you.

Answer: Disable "no GUI" in the Panel under the msconfig Startup tab.

Apparently, in the activation of vista "no GUI" allows the vista aurora boot / splash screen, thus hiding the start menu, check it out operations on disk and memory diagnostics.

Under xp, which allows 'no GUI' blacked out on the screen and hidden from the above process.  But in Vista, rather than be a screen blacked out, vista boot screen is engaged.

As my question, in some sort 'no GUI' was enabled without my knowledge.  So I could not see the background process during startup.

  • Start with an external display Vista on HP laptop

    Hello

My HP laptop screen is broken, so I need to use an external monitor. Unfortunately, the screen not active really up to what I'm going to connect to the page into account. This means that if I want to access bios, upgrade to a new operating system, or to do other things, I'm completely blind.

Is it possible that I can get the operating system to start with my external monitor.

  • Qosmio F60 - starting with Windows 7 and Dynadock U problems

I recently acquired a new Qosmio F60 and a new port replicator Dynadock U. problem, but it will not start upward unless I disconnect the Dynadock by unplugging the USB cable from the laptop. I downloaded the latest drivers for the F60 and the Dynadock from Toshiba site without change to the problem.

Also, the entire system in slow frustrating execution of orders despite the fact that the system's processor i7-based.
I am running Windows Home Premium 64 bit version with Norton Security and have no innstalled unauthorized or unusual software.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Sandgroper,

All other devices are connected to the Dynadock port replicator? Perhaps the external device is causing the Windows 7 startup problem

Have you installed latest version of BIOS of Toshiba? As far as I know the new version came out a few days ago

  • Windows does not start with error - PXE - E53: no boot file name given

I have a PC HP P6010in at home, but for 3 days while turning on the PC, I get the error PXE - E53: no boot not received and after that the wndows file name 7 I installed does not turn. Even the advanced startup options do not come.

    Please help solve the problem.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

This error comes if the operating system or any boot device is not at the start of the network, where the system tries to boot from the network or Boot Rom. seems the BIOS setting is lost. To solve the problem. Enter the BIOS by pressing F10 or F1 and reach the start (on the top with the right arrow key) tab. In the Startup tab, there should be an option related to the priority of the device, select first boot as drive boot HARD settigs, and then save by pressing F10, select Yes for confirmation.

Now a PC will reboot and hope that the windows starts.

    Good luck

  • Alienware X 51 r2 starts with Windows RE or dark gray screen

My Alienware X 51 r2 will start is the Windows 10 login screen. Instead, it shows a dark grey screen (which probably should be black, but is not because of the brightness) or the recovery of Windows after the bios screen environment. I tried using alienrespawn to restore my computer and optionally to reset to factory settings, no attempts have worked. I am unable to use the system restore because it refuses to accept my password and I don't know that I entered correctly. At least for a week my computer stopped working. If anyone knows a solution for this or has any suggestions on how to fix this I would really appreciate it.

You have the recovery disk to reinstall Windows? Make an iso Windows USB installation and repair install. Windows Update could cause this problem

  • Cannot install vista - blue stripes

Hello I got a problem with my old vista, a few days ago, that it crashed with blue stripes everywhere. I think that hardrive may have been overheated and died... not sure. In any case, it is my problem and what I did about this.

Vista starts with blue stripes on the screen shows the logo with the loading bar it goes black for 10 sec and then it crashes. I started by reinstaling the OS from the hard disk, which could be unwise. Because when I restart the installation does not start before it crashes again. I tried to run the install in safe mode, but it cannot install in safe mode either. Then I tried to start that installation of vista from a cd still does not... in safe mode or in normal mode. I'm not sure what to do, is there something I can do or is it time to buy a new computer?

And if I do, he's smart get a new computer now? Maybe there are some new super computers beyond the next corner?

  • Messages to update Windows Vista 64-bit driver for Qosmio F30 Vista 32 bit

    Hello

Today, I noticed that, update Windows Vista displays the bad update for one of the drivers of Qosmio F30.

I have Windows Vista 32-bit, but Windows Update post a 64 bit version of the driver.

    See the screenshot [here: http://imagefilehost.googlepages.com/f30Wrongupdate.jpg]

    Any idea?

    Hmm... it's strange?  :|

The ACPI from Toshiba x 64 compatible driver certainly means a 64-bit version!

I put t know why Vista driver update notification indicates a 64-bit to a 32 bit OS driver, but usually the 64-bit driver should not be compatible with the 32 bit OS.

However, the deal seems clear don t install if the pilot is not designed for your operating system.

  • Qosmio F30-127 is unable to read the Vista upgrade disc

    Hi guys,.

    I have a Toshiba Qosmio F30 (127) with the standard front load Mat * a DVD-RAM (model UJ-846) Player.

I have for months without any apparent problem burn a variety of CD DVD & (R/RW) and recently received my expected Vista Express Upgrade DVD which I assume adopts the format DVD RAM.

After the upgrade of the BIOS to v3.4, I successfully installed upgrading startup, but only one of the hard drives (RAID) which has been recognized in my windows session (with the recoil, I would simply have used administrative tools > computer management > disk management) ;-(

I reinstalled XP using the recovery disks provided original in preparation to retry the Vista upgrade a 2nd time to correct the alleged no recorded 2nd hard drive.

However, on the startup of XP, the Vista Upgrade DVD doesn't have to be recognized at startup (i) or (ii) in the case of a Windows session, without a visible change in the drive icon to indicate the usual recognition.

If I try to double click on the drive icon, I get the error message:

"D:\ is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an i/o device error.

I have read a number of threads of support which advises: (i) changing some registry keys, which seem to be unnecessary following a procedure of recovering costs of system; (ii) the transfer mode to DMA to PIO on the primary IDE channel in Manager devices, and (iii) the offending disk and IDE/ATAPI controllers Device Manager uninstall followed by a restart of switching. I tried (ii) & (iii) independently several times resulting in Windows Installer automatically the drivers for the hardware newly found followed by a final reboot, but the Enigma DVD persists.

I tried to install the latest drivers for the DVD RAM driver, including vF103 firmware update in the Toshiba download pages, but the status quo remains.

Ideas or current symptoms are swinging more and more towards the likely hardware malfunction?

    Thanks for listening...

For me, it looks like a hardware problem, maybe the lens of the player is not clean or not can not calibrate correctly in the right position

But try first to remove the drive from Device Manager and restart the laptop.
The operating system should recognize what it again automatically. If you want to read from this CD, and then try again.

If she will not change the situation, then I presume that it s a failure of the equipment.

  • FSX with acceleration gold Edition starts now when I upgraded to Windows 7. It happens just with blue logo start FSX and crashes.

I ran FSX with acceleration gold edition on my Dell inspion 520 with Windows Vista Edition home premium SP1 and 2 and it worked very well.  Now I updated to Windows 7 Home premium and it just hangs.  I uninstalled FSX and acceleration completely and even delete the directories and given it a clean install.  It seeks to build the database markings and landscapes, and then I let myself just with blue logo start FSX and even after a few hours, nothing happens. It would help if she had an error message, but nothing.  I have also reinstalled the driver for my NVIDIA GEforce 9400 graphics card and checked DirectX and its says its fine.  I have dual core 1.66 32-bit with 4 GB of ram.  Someone has any idea how to solve what Miss me my vol. I tried also to start with compatibility for Win Vista SP1 and 2 settings, as well as Win XP.  I can't get my WinTv Nova-t work either which suggests that it is a graphics problem.

    Hi AMrita,
I always had the problem last night but I was check the forums and I now after much deliberation to be fixed.  When I go into the Device Manager, I checked all the drivers including the audio player and I was informed that they were all updated and works very well.  Although I had sounds and music I check the setting in 'Control Panel', but this is no software not loaded and nothing is even not a mistake.  I then tried to download the latest software and driver from Realtek for Audio ALC888 and got the following error while installing - an error (-5009: 0x8002802b occurred) previous installation did not finish.  On Googling this error I found a solution in one of the forums that was as follows: to

Delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\Runtime - folder or rename it, just in case.

and then run the windows 7 install for the sound card Realtek and it is now successfully downloaded.  The PC restarts, I started FSX and now its running fine.

Thanks for the help... got in the end and think I could play music and watch a movie and the sound was very good.
