  I have a new Dell U2515H monitor and a new computer 6i7kyk of Nuc Intel running Windows 10.  When I send the computer in standby mode, the annoying message "this display will enter Power Save mode in 5 minutes' appears on the display for 5 minutes before the screen darkens finally.  I want a standby computer to initiate screen-watch immediately.

  Unfortunately, this is not possible. When the computer starts "standby" mode, it is electronically 'disconnect' the monitor cable. You can see on the U2515H user's Guide page 47, that the message is by design.

  This question been bothering me for a long time but was too lazy to write about it. When I start my laptop, you can hear the fan speed reaching its maximum RPM.
