I have a Qosmio F60-123 and it seems that I can't change the resolution to 1366 × 768 above,
I've updated my card reader to the latest version, but the problem is still there.
is it possible to change the resolution?
Hello
> have a Qosmio F60-123 and it seems that I can't change the resolution to 1366 × 768 above,.
> I updated my card reader to the latest version, but the problem is still there.
According to the specifications of the product:
http://Gulf.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/en/product/Qosmio-F60-123/1085698/toshibaShop/false/
* Video modes internal * internal video modes are supported:
resolution: 1366 x 768
* Maximum external video modes * max resolution: 2 048 x 1 536
Maximum refresh rate: 100 Hz
resolution No interlaced with a maximum refresh rate: 1920 x 1 200
So, if you see you can not change the resolution to 1366 × 768 for internal display above

Hello
It's really not easy to say why it happens. I think that it of difficult to reproduce this problem, because it happens that sometimes ;(
You said you are using Vista Ultimate.
Have you checked if this happens using the Vista OS since the Toshiba Recovery CD?It would be very interesting to know if this occurs on laptop with Toshiba to factory settings.
I found a thread on a similar theme;
Someone suggested to update the graphics driver.

Qosmio F60 - display environment does not support protected playback
Qosmio F60
When I tried to watch a disc blue ray through a plasma phillips TV 50PF9960/69, the television and the computer displayed the following message "your environment display does not support protected reading content". Phillips responded that the TV is HDCP. I can watch a DVD on the TV through the same optical drive. Y at - it the problem with reading discs Blue ray on a Qosmio F60 in the TV?
The blue ray disc displayed on the computer without any problem when it is disconnected from the TV.
Do any one help please?
Hello
I read in some forums on this error message.
For the most part this message if one of the devices does not support HDCP.
It seems somehow the HDCP key has been lost between 2 devices (monitor and laptop). On the other hand, the CD/DVD drive can be assigned to another region of the country.
If you want to play DVDs created for other regions, then this error code could appear generally too. -
Qosmio F60 - 10 H - newest need display driver
Hello...
Can someone help me? I have a Qosmio F60-10 with nVidia GT330M (1 GB), but I have serious problem.
I want to play newer games, but I can't. For example, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, I played it, but it's unplayable.
Accident of textures. During the reading of defective TV game textures like tasks and forms black or gray.
Sometimes defected area gel. I have a problem with the more recent, not older games like Battlefield 2, CS, Medal of Honor: Airborne.
Does anyone know a newer driver than 187.98 for nVidia GT330M? Or Fix?Help, please
THX
Qosmio F60 is newest laptop and it isn t available in the world and you already have the problem with the display driver. It s crazy.
I doubt you'll find a newer driver on Toshiba support page so all you can try is to install the NVIDIA driver but I do not think that it won't be so easy.Problem is that the F60 Qosmio's newest model of laptop and there is no reports about similar issues.

Qosmio F60 - when we get new display drivers?
Hi guys,.
I'm basically looking for some information when or if we will have a new driver for our Nividia Geforce GT330M. I see in the download section there is a little bit down after all other pilots links (factory installled ones) that says "new version of the drivers/software since the image factory preinstalled was built.
That means there is something in the pipeline? I saw it here for the last two months tho? I need answers! Help, please! Oh, and don't tell me to download a new driver from Nividia because they work that toshiba has blocked them from working to protect our laptops.
[http://www.MyToshiba.co.nz/support/notebooks/Qosmio/F60/pqf65a-00y002/download?OS=25] here is the page that I do not speak
Bravo guys
Will be.
Hello
I think that it of difficult to say what Toshiba released a new display driver. I think that no one here can answer this question because it s a user only forum. I think Toshiba only knows this.
But I m wondering you ask new display drivers. You have a problem with the current version?
If so, maybe this problem can be solved otherwise -
Qosmio F60 - no update display drivers?
Hi guys, Ive been looking through the forums in the last month and have seen other people had display problems glitchy due to obsolete toshiba drivers, for now I can't play any of the latest games like battlefield bad company 2, etc.
I was hoping that if there was someone out there who could tell me if or when a new driver will come out to the GeForce GT 330 M from Toshiba as I can't use those NVIDIA since they are not compatible with laptops. Or if anyone has suggestions for adjustments, changes of settings. The games work on the lowest of low graphics setting, but who wants to play like that when I just spalshed on NZD $2500 for the last notebook which should be able to read with ease?
Will be
Hello
To be honest, I never heard on an issue of such... I m not Qosmio F60 owner but on my Qosmio F50 all games work properly and I can notice t all the problems.
I m using the last display on the official website of Toshiba driver
What operating system you have installed? Have you tried with the factory settings? I mean the operating system preinstalled Toshiba where all the drivers and tools are installed.

Qosmio F60 - overheating and FPS fall games
Hello
My Qosmio F60 gets very warm, while gaming and idling, for example, while the cores of game and GPU work around until 75-85Celsius, I don't know how they are idle, but my pumps STILL hot air fan, comparing to all portable computers friends, they don't pump hot heat games unless.
Also while gaming, I get drops FPS while playing, even though I used to run a game on high 60 fps, without drops, now it's on low-head up to about 6 times.
Help, please.
Thank you, HarrisonHello
Sorry but here a few questions to better understand:
Are you using the original Toshiba preinstalled the operating system or your own version?
Toshiba display driver you are using. While gaming laptop is placed on the desk?
All vents are free?
Do you use new games?Plan to use everything at stake?
Do you use the maximum level on the graphics settings in the game?Have you tried playing with the power and graphics settings to see if the result will be a little better?

Re: Support of DisplayPort on Qosmio F60
The series F60 has a "Displayport"?
I want to get a Matrox TripleHead2Go unit and try to determine which model to get. There is a VGA or Displayport version that supports several variations of resolution...
Is the Port HDMI F60 a Displayport?
This product is not known to me, but according to the specification, it can be used on most PC and portable computers that have a single video on port only. Thus, the Qosmio F60 as one of the most powerful portable Toshiba should be portable perfect for this.
I don't know what you mean exactly under displayport but for connecting external monitor you can use the HDMI or VGA port. Difference is that HDMI port offers better transfer video and audio signals to your external device. VGA port sends a video signal only. Thus, the HDMI port will be best option for connection between Qosmio and this external unit.
Before order you you can test with the system compatibility test > http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/drivers/download/gxm/tool/

Handling of battery Qosmio F60
I just purchased a qosmio f60-033 and I was wondering what the battery life is like on the 6 cell battery with the disabled lecteur_disque (non - eco & eco mode)
also out of curiosity
the life of the battery will die faster if I use the laptop with the battery when you are connected to the power adapter? or the battery will stop loading when it is fully chargedThanks :)
Hello
You don't need to remove the battery so that the AC adapter is plugged.
The plugged AC adapter will not affect the batteries in the new age.> I just purchased a qosmio f60-033 and I was wondering what the battery life is like on the 6 cell battery with the disabled lecteur_disque (non - eco & eco mode)
Battery working time depends on the use of the laptop. There are many other factors that could affect the battery working time; for example the software that is currently running, display backlight level, background processes and rates of use CPU/GPU etc.I know once for you; It is a multimedia laptop and you should not expect that you could work more than 1.5 h-2 hours with the battery.

Qosmio F60 - Toshiba updates causing the blue screen (BSOD)
Hello
I applied updates based on the recommendations of the Toshiba Service Center app on my F60 and now it starts with windows and then displays the BSOD. Updates have been a nVidia display driver and an update of the BIOS, published on 11/10/2010.
I did a windows 7 system restore but problem still occurring. Managed to get to a command prompt, so I can back up my files at least.
Someone else had this problem? You fear that the updates may have fried the equipment? Advice on how to solve this problem before you do a restore system with my Toshiba recovery disks?
Hey,.
> I did a restore of windows 7
What kind of system restore do you exactly? To restore to an earlier point or a new complete installation of Windows 7 using the Toshiba Recovery disk? You can also start your laptop in safe mode?
I also made the new updates my Qosmio F60 and everything works fine. I can t view this problem.
In the worst case you must reinstall Windows again recovery disk. It seems that something has confused the Windows registry can therefore start t.
