  Have a Qosmio F60 with built-in TV tuner. Running Windows 7 64 bit. I have install the TV tuner a few weeks back and it have not used much since. Windows Media Center is now "no tuner partitions to meet the demand for courses". Since the establishment of the tuner, I installed Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate Collection and, of course, the list of updates of Windows.

  I do not see the tuner in the material or the other list, but then I don't know if I'm supposed to.

  Hello, when I got my laptop (m6 1125dx Envy) I had a nice feature that allowed me to scroll through the pages under the mouse cursor when the page is the subject of a scroll is not the current page. It was great when look a things side by side and comparing elements. Having to click on a window to make it active just to scroll is a pain. This is a default feature in ALL linux distributions and I missed a lot when I'm on windows.

  When I got this laptop windows 8, I found that I had this feature. I was happy to extreally. After awhile, I reloaded my operating system with a new installation of windows 8 and noticed this feature is now gone.

  I installed all the drivers and the software that was in the file "c:\SWetup". I've updated all the drivers from the HP website. Still no scroll mouse of pages under the cursor.

  I know there are applications of third party like katmouse and others who do this, I tried them and they do not seem to work in windows 8.

  It's something that came with the laptop. Can someone give me a helping hand for this feture back?

  You can enable mouse Hover in two ways:

  Windows key + U (open access) >

  If you have not previously opened the ' Centre

  then

  Uncheck both "always read this section aloud" and "always this section analysis.

  Select / Open "Make the mouse easier to use" >

  Under "Make it easier to manage windows" section >

  CHECK "Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse.

• 123 updates is normal after a new installation.

  I recently bought a desktop computer with a new installation of windows xp with sp3 custom. When I tried to install updates, I was getting a 403 error. I have used ie fixit to sweep the update section and he finds the problem and he healed for me. But when I was able to download and install updates there was 123 which has shown all at once. They have installed ok and the computer seems to work very well, but I would like to know if it was normal that 123 updated if poster altogether even after a complete re install. Thank you.

  Two days ago I've updated Directx version because I want to try call of Duty Black Ops on my laptop. I've updated normally and it works perfectly but after a day at the restart of Windows7, after Windows 7 logo, I have a black screen and cpu fan running at full speed. So I used Toshiba Recovery Center and I got my pc to make settings. When it installs the drivers crashing into the graphics driver again. After that, I installed Windows 7, but I am using my computer on the resolution of 640 x 480 with 8 colors... And I can use the security with network mode but if I install the driver for GT - 330M and restart the computer, it hangs on after restarting windows 7.
  I tried to change the options in the bios, but it's always the same problem.

  * My :* graphics card Nvidia GT330M
  * :* Bios version 2.50 / EC2.40 (last update on the Web from Toshiba site)
  * Nvidia Driver :* 260.64

  I downloaded 197.16, 197.71, 258.80 drivers Nvidia and laptopvideo2go, but when I try to install these versions, it does not compotible with my control panel.

  IM totally crushed now and I do not want my laptop to Toshiba Technical Service which is in Turkey. For an easy fix, they spent 30 days...

  If you want to install non-Toshiba drivers, you will have to do it in the Device Manager.
  You must use the Advanced installation procedure and have point to the driver files (ini files) that you have downloaded and stored on the HARD drive.
  You have simply force windows to select this driver.

  Hello. I recently upgraded from Win 7 to win 10 via download, and my function key does nothing. The Eco utility also is all out of wack and does not seem to meet. Don't know how else to describe it, other than that. Appreciate any help.

  Best option is to clean, install, chuck all the Toshiba bloat including all the so-called eco and Windows power management stuff to. Trust me it works much better. I was obliged, in a clean installation, after that the SSDS failed recently. Surprisingly, Windows took care of all the drivers on my 870 X and the laptop works perfectly, my only concern is the CPU time that seem too high, maxing out at 90 degrees for the games, but about to take it apart and redo the radiator paste on the CPU/GPU cooler. Time GPU is OK, around 75 degrees max.

  However, the downside for me was some F keys no longer work. WiFi but is now just WiFi/Bluetooth power, speaker volume, microphone, display, and the display brightness all work but the power touchpad is not. Multimedia keys don't seem to work either (play/pause, track skip) only the screen brightness, volume, and multi display keys have a graphic, none of the others don't.

  Toshiba does not support Windows 10 for anything earlier X - 70 has. shameful when you pay a lot for these Qosmios. Don't buy Toshiba again when the X 870 dies, not only I don't think it's a shame to not offer better support on products like the Qosmio series, the X-70 b is now little more than a toy with his R9 M365X AMD, not more powerful than a Geforce 940 M GPU to!

• Windows XP normal 'Boot' (no RECOVERY!) After the PC is 'HIBERNATED' from one day to the next?

  The "Hibernation" Star appears to be installed correctly on my PC,
  as I can enable the feature at the time manually (in the closing Wdws menu)
  and automatically (in the power settings).

  In the trial of the hibernation feature: (after a success "Hibernation")
  When I press the button power on the box, the expected
  "Recovery Windows" tray is displayed;
  and the PC correctly "resumes" from hibernation.

  But, the next morning ...
  (after successful Automatic HIBERNATION in the evening before),
  When the press,
  the computer Windows "RESTARTS".

  EXPECTED 'RECOVERY WINDOWS.

  How can I solve this problem or diagnosing the causes?

  To make your Windows start directly without prompting for the splash screen, follow the steps below:

  1. click on start

  2. click on Control Panel

  3. click on system and security

  4. click on System

  5. click on system settings advanced (on the left pane), and then click the Advanced tab

  6. under Startup and recovery, click settings

  7. now uncheck the box "Time to display list of operating systems" then click apply and then click Ok.
