Qosmio F60 - cannot use the touchpad scrolling feature two fingers
I recently got a laptop hard drive to my Qosmio f60 replacement and windows had to be reloaded.
Then my cell phone worked before I could two fingers scrolling on pages and others.
Now, I can't, and I can't find a setting for this anywhere.
Ive downloaded a driver called "scrybe" that allows me to do this,
but I'd rather widely does not run a processor extra and just using the default function of portable.
Can someone explain why my laptop before do me that and now cant? and how can I solve this problem?

Maybe the Synaptics touchpad driver is not installed?
Synaptics touchpad driver additional features.
That's why I recommend you to install this driver.
The settings are located in Control Panel-> mouse-> tab advanced-> avancΘs
After updating my drivers for the keyboard via the download ( http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_show_4458.html ), I am unable to use the functionality of scrolling on the touchpad. This could be the cause and is there a way to get back to an older driver if it is not possible to solve this problem?
enable scrolling after re-installation.
go to control panel > hardware and sound > mouse > device settings > settings > scrolling > allow
How to activate the functionality of scrolling on the touchpad of my laptop Satellite M35X-S163?
The touchpad scrolling feature can be enabled in Control Panel > mouse.
You'll find the option but don t forget that the driver for the touchpad should be installed and you can find it on the Toshiba site:
Sorry if Im this ad in the wrong forum, but I just got a new HP laptop and I can't use the touchpad in now the keys down. I'm playing a game that requires the touchpad to look around, but I can't. Ive already tried disable palmcheck and only allowed me to look around for a second short before the cursor locked up and I wouldn't be able to look around again until I wasn't pressing the keys. Please help ive been everywhere looking for a solution and this is my last hope.
Normally, you just have to disable SmartSense or PalmCheck Control Panel of Synaptics - but from what I've seen, it seems no longer works for Windows 10 versions of this driver.
You may be able to work around this problem as follows.
First, download the Synaptics driver on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.
Disable your wireless card (should be f12 ).
Open Control Panel, open programs and features, right click on the Synaptics driver and select uninstall.
When finished, restart the laptop.
When windows rebooted, open your download folder and re-run the installer of Synaptics - when it is finished, restart the laptop.
Open the Synaptics settings panel, disable SmartSense or PalmCheck , then check if the touchpad works now with a key on the keyboard is pressed.
If so, turn on your wireless card and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the Synaptics driver.

I am interested in buying the laptop L500-164.
Can someone tell me if this phone has a touchpad with scroll function?
And so, only the page down, or "from left to right?
Yes, the Satellite L500 supports virtual scrolling.
But that's why you need the driver for the touchpad, this feature is software based on other laptops. It is not a problem because the driver is already preinstalled and more you can download on the page of Toshiba. :)
Fun with a new Satellite L500. A friend bought me too and it s really great and the price is also good.
Use a wireless mouse for awhile, and while in the middle of some of the work that the battery is low then I went to use the touch pad and found that it did not?
I downloaded new drivers but still no go. When I press FN and F9 together there is no response. I unplugged my Qosmio laser mouse. Restarted but still no go...
Any help would be appreciated...
See you soon
What model of laptop Qosmio do you have exactly?
In some cases, the BIOS displays the option to enable and disable the touchpad (pointing device).
Have you checked whether its active in BIOS?
In addition, it would be interesting to know if the touchpad worked before the external wireless mouse no longer works.
I have a Qosmio F25-AV205. When I tried to use the recovery cd set with my laptop computer, an error message appears saying that I use the wrong cd and this cd is for model F25. Only despite I have the same model that the message...
What is the problem?
Someone replace the motherboard of your laptop?
Sometime, a Toshiba system has had the system board replaced, it may become impossible to image the system using the recovery CD.
The DMI string contains the model number of the system. When you use a recovery CD to recreate the image on a system, the installation process examines the DMI string and compares this string to the image being restored to ensure that the right image is applied to the correct machine.
If the DMI string and the label on the image n t game, a bad machine or bad CD message will appear.
In this case, you should ask the ASP in your country for assistance
I know very little on my Satellite C50-A-157. Run on Windows 8. I'm main user/admin and all of a sudden I am unable to move the cursor of the mouse... only average, it seems, I beg, if I hold the botton left hand (at the bottom of the mouse pad) at the same time, it moves.
But then high-lights everything.
I tried pressing FN + F5, at the same time (nothing happens), even taken battery out back (once again does not solve issue) the arrow of the mouse/is just frozen on the page... This does not happen in my partners profile, (there is another user) the mouse seems to work fine...
I thought it was the mouse pad, had used (as is the brilliant now), but this does not explain why it happens that under my profile/user, not his?
If anyone can offer any help, very much appreciated... I only stumbled across the fact, it allows me to use (if I hold left button at the same time)
Also tried the "sticky keys" shift x 5, even once it does nothing or to solve this problem.
And entered the usinw of control panel Windows + X and distributed in troubleshooting, once again, not solved the problem.
.. This does not happen in my partners profile, (there is another user) the mouse seems to work fine...
Because the touchpad does not work using a different user profile, I guess that there must be only a software conflict.
Usually you can activate or deactivate the touch pad by pressing F5 (or FN + F5), but have you tried this combination and that did not allow the touchpad...
Then there where I bit you should simple uninstall the driver of the touchpad and after downloading the package of newer touchpad driver of the page of the Toshiba UE driver, unzip the and perform the new installation of the touchpad driver...
Once the installation is complete, reboot the laptop...
I created a sample chart and integrated data in real time. I am applying a sort and filtering, but during the wizard initial if I click on the sort or filter, it takes me to the 'Data', and I can't do anything there. Background screen remains empty with a few drop-down menus and I should switch to the properties.
I applied the version of jdk 1.6 on my box and updated IE to IE 7, still no help.
Is this an existing problem? Does perform a work around for this issue?
Thank you very much!
Within your facility, go to $DOMAIN_HOME/bin and edit the setDomainEnv.sh file to update the variable JAVA_HOME value JROCKIT
In command windows when you start the server, set the variable JAVA_VENDOR = Oracle and start the servers. If you use several command windows to start your servers, the value of this variable in all windows command.
I just got a new HP Officejet Pro 8600 and it says it's supposed to automatically print double-sided. When I have a paper face two feed the paper from the upper bin feeder, it takes in and it then prints on one side, then he pulls the book which he just printed in as if he was going to print the second side, but then it ejects just page and does never print the second side. I have an Asus computer running Windows 7, but I'm just trying to make a copy two faces to the right of the printer itself. I went into the settings and there are two options under two back, we say '1-coast face 1 copy Original' and the other choice I have chosen is "1 side 2-sided original copy. Those are the only choices. What I am doing wrong?
The two-sided printing module will print the back automatically when printing. When making copies, it will print the back if you put two (or more) pages in the feeder and select this option to copy 1-face to face 2. This model apparently does not 2 head to head 2 copies, i.e., it doesn't have a mechanism to scan the rear face of load in the ADF.
I made a mistake and uninstalled the original driver for the mouse pad, stupidly. In any case, I could find drivers to make it work again. But I have a minor problem which I hope someone can help me solve.
I can not get the scrolling ability to work when you use the edges of the mouse pad to scroll to the bottom or left and right. Is there something im missing that can get this working or is it a lost cause.
Can you also tell us which laptop computer and operating system you have? It would be useful to write useful advice how to solve your problem.
Normally you can toggle the virtual scrolling feature in the mouse settings. So go in Control Panel > mouse. Check the properties there and then you can enable/disable this feature.
I have some problems with scrolling with the touchpad. In some applications, like Mozilla Thunderbird, the touchpad scrolling does not at all! If I contact the right side of the touchpad by finger in Thunderbird, I see the label of Scroll on the screen, but no scrolling occurs. What is the problem? In Opera, I need to click on the browser page to 'activate' the touchpad scrolling and it also irritates cause in IE I do not have such problems: I have lunch just Explorer and scrolling of the works from the beginning... How to solve this problem?

Fix for that is unknown to me, but it turns out that the unit has been tested only with Microsoft products (Designed for Microsoft WXP label applied on the device) and not with other third-party software of the part. This function is not only an example. There are many of them. Please don t see this as a problem.
On this path, I will not say that you MUST use just preinstalled stuff but there are many things that you have to live with.
Perhaps someone else knows more about it.
Inadvertently, I moved my cursor using the touchpad and it decreased my policy and I can't get it for a larger size. my daughter thinks it has something to do with scrolling
You did not mention this program what happens to, but even in the case of the office, there are standard methods to adjust the zoom level with the keyboard.Press Ctrl and more (e, g +) together to increase the zoom level and Ctrl and less (for example) - all to reduce. The keys more or less can be those at the top of the classic (for example to the left of the back) keys or the numeric keypad if you have one.Alternatively, you can hold down the CtrI down while turning the scroll of the mouse wheel to adjust the zoom level of the window that the cursor of the mouse is on.Many programs have a slider or box to adjust the zoom level. It is usually at the bottom right of the application window. Similar zoom adjustments may be able to make the menu display, Zoom the program.
I own a Toshiba Satellite L40-139 under Windows Vista 32-bit. However, I think that this problem only applies to this model as other users are experiencing the same thing.
I often watch videos online mode full screen (like on YouTube), but when I leave full-screen mode, I noticed that virtual scrolling stops working on the touchpad. This occurs in the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox. I can still move the pointer, but cannot scroll. I also note that the icon in the taskbar freezes, because it does not meet all the movements on the touchpad. I have the latest version of the driver installed (10.0.3.0).
Is it possible for Toshiba to issue an updated driver for the Synaptics pointing device which solves this problem?
It's the first time that someone has posted this question
I checked this on my Satellite U400 and quest that; the touchpad works ok
There may be a registry problem with your operating system who knows
It would be interesting to know how the touchpad scroll function works by using the new OS installed
I just bought my A660 07P last Thursday, September 15, 10 and I noticed that I had problems with the mouse pointer using the touchpad.
From time to time, the cursor/pointer is locked and seems something like a button up and down.
I assume it's because it's on a mode of waiting, but in this case as every 5 minutes.
When it is locked, it will also change the zoom percentage when the touchpad is struck. It is very not when I'm in the middle of something and I can not move the pointer. In addition, the start is very slow.
BTW, I have not installed any programs or applications. I'm still testing until Friday, otherwise I'll go back to where I bought it.
This isn't touchpad problem.
I guess as support for computer laptop MULTI-TOUCH PAD
There are a few additional features supported by touchpad, and I think that you have enabled this while using the touchpad
The touchpad supports the features:
You can scroll vertically and horizontally
This feature provides functionality like the scroll wheel zooming
_Rotating (chiral spin) _
This provides gestures to rotate the photos and other objects
This feature provides a smooth, fast trackball as the movement of the mouse. A quick finger on the touchpad surface can move the sliders in the entire screen.
