• At the beginning; After the Windows Logo at the start, the screen goes black and a POWER SAVE MODE comes up. I must stop button. I can run the computer as I am now in Mode safe mode with networking.

  In my opinion, your settings on the laptop are right but please check your TV also. I put t know if your TV is a S-video port or you use a S-video adapter. Please check menu TV. Maybe it's for S-video option in the port.

  Before you attempt this procedure, the judgment of the laptop, remove the AC adapter and then hold the power button for 20 seconds to dispel any residual charge in the motherboard - do this whenever you stop before changing/deleting modules.

  Does not need to update the Nvidia driver because it is up to date and could not update the Viewsonic that Windows only recognizes as "PnP monitor" generic monitor, even if it is described as Viewsonic in the Nvidia Control Panel. Did restore the default values in the video section of the Nvidia Control Panel, and that seems to have solved the problem.

  Install these updates of 2 drivers and then restart the pc and try again see if the problem occurs.

  Another thing that I recommend is trying to reset your settings to default monitor by pressing the MENU button and finding the option defauult of zero/factory reset.

  You can also restore the default settings in the Nvidia Control Panel by clicking on restore by default in most sections.
