Qosmio G30-149: how to make partion on HARD drive for installation Qosmio Player

Who can help... How to make partion on the new HARD disk for installation of QosmioPalayer of restore CD?

Details: Qosmio G30 - 149, I've changed my disks hard two 100/100 for hard drives 320/320 and now in train to install QosmioPlayer.
I tried a few ways to make partion.

At the end and at the beginning of the 1st disk HARD, 2nd HARD drive.
But all the time I was following the fault: "the recovery is not supported on this system.

Please, who knows what to do?

Wait a minute;

I wonder about this error message:

Are you using the original recovery of Toshiba CD (DVD) that were shipped with this laptop?

Please note that you can only use the CD that have been designed especially for you, notebook series!

    Hi Defiant1950,

To add more hard disk space, the simplest method is to attach an external hard drive. If you add an external hard disk, it can't function as your primary hard disk where you install Windows, but you can use it as a secondary disk to store programs and files. Adding an external hard drive is a good way to create plenty of extra space to store the digital photos, videos, music and other files that require a large amount of disk space.

To install an external hard drive, all you have to do is plug it into your computer and connect the power supply cable. Most of these hard disks plug into a USB port, but some connect to a Firewire (also known as IEEE 1394) or external SATA (eSATA) port. For additional instructions, see the documentation that came with your external hard drive. You will also need to install a software that came with the hard drive.

I only know of the VHD, 7 has a "virtual machine" option or is a long process that requires a third-party software?

Not longer than the partitioning of the HARD drive and install XP - actually quite a bit more fast I should think and gives you the ability to move from one OS to the other without having to reboot the machine. • How do clone you a hard drive on a P6770T

Background: I have a P6770T Office, number of product XX204AV #ABA, OS: Windows 7 Home 64 bit service pack 1.

    Partitions: C: 685 GB D: 12.7 GB (recovery), Q: 0GO (MS Office 2010 protected).

Question: I would like to add a second hard drive to the PC as a clone.   First of all, a second internal hard drive can be added (is there a location for the drive and a SATA cable port)?    Second, how do clone you a hard drive with the three partitions, as described above?    I need instructions for cooking book style because I'm a newbee.      Thank you.

It is usually best to make a clone with an external drive. It makes no sense given the power (spinning). Seagate and WD offer similar programs, called 'DiskWizard '.

    What you'll need:

    (1) software cloning (I'll link Seagate) download the utility and download from this page user's Guide.

    (2) buy a 1 t Seagate drive (like your hard drive is a nominal 750Go).

    more than you will need:

    (3) Sata Drive enclosure includes ESata rail.

  • Make an extra hard drive available in merger

I installed a new hard drive on my Mac Pro.  While I see it well in Mac OS, when I start Windows in VMware Fusion, I wasn't able to see my new hard drive initially.  I finally managed to make the new hard drive available for Fusion, but when I looked at the hard drive in MacOS, he created 22 files at the root of the hard disk labeled "Virtual Disk - s00X.vmdk" where "X" is a number from 1 to 22, a file labeled "Virtual Disk.vmdk" and a file folder labeled virtual disk.  It was not that I had set up the HDD correctly in Fusion so I removed it.

What all of the 22 files were created on my new hard drive?  How do I add and make it visible to my new hard drive in Fusion?

I installed a new hard drive on my Mac Pro.  While I see it well in Mac OS, when I start Windows in VMware Fusion, I wasn't able to see my new hard drive initially.

This is because you have not set up as a shared folder in VMware or a normal SMB/CIFS network share, which we know is not what you want from your response to the message of Entegy.

I finally managed to make the new hard drive available in merger...

If you had been successful then there will not be a need to post.

What all of the 22 files were created on my new hard drive?  How do I add and make it visible to my new hard drive in Fusion?

"22 records" with a hard extension, you deleted, composed the VHD that you added to the Virtual Machine.

What your wanting to do add the new physical disk to the Virtual Machine where it is natively accessible to the Virtual Machine and when the virtual machine is running, the disc will be not available natively on Mac OS X, is - that correct?  If Yes, with the exception of create the partition Boot Camp, Virtual Machine, VMware Fusion does support not the addition of physical hard disks to a VM via its GUI and will have to be done manually after have created you with vmware-rawdiskCreator located at: / Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/vmware-rawdiskCreator
