Qosmio G50 change IDE to AHCI controller

I recently bought an SSD
and the wand to increase its performance and the Firmware upgrade by changing the IDE SATA AHCI controller
How can I change from AHCI? through the BIOS, I don't see any indication in the BIOS
I read all disks to increase performance by changing the IDE SATA AHCI controller

May I ask if you are sure that something like this exists? I've never heard any update firmware for the IDE controller.

Of course, you can update the BIOS and can install the SATA drivers that control the HARD disk controller, but you won't find any update of the firmware.

I know such option is available, not for all laptops and it is available only with the Phoenix BIOS.
The G50 supports Toshiba BIOS and the HARD drive controller is always to SATA (AHCI).
This means that you can not change it to IDE, and so the performance can be reduced or increased.

In order to install a new OS, you must eat of storage which includes SATA drivers.

    The parameter if you have this option from the IDE to the setting of DCIS is inside the BIOS Setup. If you do not have the option in the BIOS of the drive then you have only IDE setting.

  • Processor Quad-Core HD Qosmio G50 and gesture of the controller error

    I have a Qosmio G50 - 10v. For gesture controller request from the Toshiba.I site, I installed a gesture controller driver tried the English and German version, but for the Quad Core HD processor shows error. The message is
    like the following"Im Toshiba quad core HD processor Fehler aufgetreten ist. (CODE = 0X800A0100)
    Later, I formatted the pc and reinstalled the processor image driver and motion controller. When I open a Toshiba DVD player and watch DVDs, Quad core does not work and quad core shows 0%. So I watch movies with low definition.
    Please help me...

    The "Toshiba Quad Core HD processor" gadget works when I've been upgraded / decommissioning or other video processing in the "Toshiba graphic Video Library»

    To check this, click on the red arrow on the left side of the gadget, click on "library graphic video Toshiba", right click on a video and select "vidéo Processing", then try and upconvert or downgrade a video according to what kind of video it is.

    Simple treatment should see the upper left quadrant the gadget turn orange or red while showing a percentage. Complex treatment, perhaps using one of the other programs in the menu drop down the gadget can do all four quadrants of the gadget actively processing colors/percentage of changes. I saw all active quadrant during certain functions of video processing. I've not seen it activates when not video processing.

    The program that you are running appears in the white box in the gadget under "request of race."

    I think that you must * driver.* card reader controller
    The drivers are located on the European driver Toshiba page.
    The Qosmio G50 is a former series so you should choose archives in the Type of product (the first option of the driver download form).

    I had to do a re-installation of my windows 7 ultimate on my qosmio G50 32 bit repair...
    after it was over I had my gesture controller error messages.

    So I guess I need to uninstall it.
    I go into Control Panel and find it in the list, click on uninstall and after he did his time I get a box indicating: 1310.error writing to the file error: C:\config. Msi\4cb46d. FBR. Make sure you have access to this directory.

    I click on start again and I get the same message every time?
    and then after that, I get another box saying: error 1603 Fatal error during the instillation. For more information, see Help for windows install (Msi.chm) or MSDN?

    What should I do?

    You can try to uninstall the software by using a tool like CCLeaner third 3rd.
    This allows to remove the software and clean the registry.

    You can also try installing the motion controller without uninstalling the software first.
    But I don't very well if it would work for sure m.

    However, visit the Toshiba Eu driver page, download the gesture and try to run the installation program

    I used the pack family windows 7 Home premium to install windows on three different machines.

    the copy of the play was purchased in New Zealand and used in the Philippines.

    1 copy:

    laptop Acer 4720, intel core 2 duo 5450 @1. 66 ghz, intel gma x 3100 Windows vista x 86

    Windows 7 Home Edition premium has been installed and activated without errors.

    2nd copy:

    Intel core [email protected], nvidia 9800gt 1 GB ddr3, 1 TB hitachi sata

    Windows 7 Home premium x 64 has been installed and activated without errors.

    3rd copy:

    Intel pentium dual core [email protected], nvidia 9500gt 1 GB ddr2, 500 GB sata hitachi

    Windows 7 Home premium x 64 has been installed and activated without errors

    chart changed to nvidia g210 512 MB ddr3 when nvidia 9500 gt failed with no windows update problem.

    current problem started when I changed my 2nd copy of windows editions Home premium.

    I changed the msahci value 0 registry key:

    downloaded/installed the latest intel ahci driver for intel...

    restarted the computer...

    from the bios changed the ide to ahci mode.

    The driver info indicated that it supports the "Intel(r) ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller"...

    I use a Windows XP Corporate CD with SP3 slipstreamed in there. I copied the SATA drivers on a floppy disk and use the F6 option to load the SATA drivers. I was able to select the correct driver, then proceed with the installation a little and then get a BSOD:

    Stop: 0x0000007B (0XF78D2524M, 0XC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

    Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

    The problem with a new facility is that you lose some applications preinstalled Toshiba as the DVD or Ulead DVD player.

    You can skip these steps if you do not need.

    In the recovery partition, you will find all the files needed for the installation of this software program.

    # Install the Setup Kit automated Windows (Windows AIK). This installs a driver you must mount the image files.
    # Create two directories to join and mount the image.
    # The use of the Witch of the imagex tool is a command line tool, located in the directory your recovery partition tools and explained in the WAIK kit and on the Microsoft Support online help. A good idea is the imagex command /?.

    I guess that you have a complete backup of your system drive and files before installing the new drive and the OS.

    To change the mode of the controller SATA, boot in the BIOS (F2). There will be two or three options, ATA, RAID and AHCI. If AHCI is not available, choose the RAID or AHCI.

  • Qosmio G50 - Fingerprint log - it does not work

  • Qosmio g50 screen does not

    I have Sony camcorder DCR-TRV520E and in the past, I recorded several movies on my laptop.
