QtGui4.dll missing / corrupted

Basically received an email from support amd after asking them if they are at fault for a crash program, and they told me its QtGui4.dll, where is the safest place to download this file to replace. this stupid 'registry check' things are _ and only to solve some problems for free (I do not pay for their software that I will never use again).

In addition, all these programs do not recognize files that they treat as an error and messes things which are perfectly legitimate.

I just installed windows 7 about a week ago, how can I have problems already? : S someone please help ha

Hello xolomn,

The file QtGui4.dll is a legitimate component of Adobe Photoshop Elements. You have Photoshop from Adobe installed on your computer?
Find the QtGui4.dll, and then check the path of the file. The malware can be if not in the correct path for Adobe.
Download Microsoft Security Essentials and scan for malware from here. Or use any other virus scanner to check that your computer is not
infected.

You have installed several games that so downloaded may contain a virus.

I hope this helps.

Thank you

    Hi Mike,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

The error you get can be caused by components from Visual C++ Runtime libraries that are missing or get conflicted, perhaps due to a third party software or badly configured registry settings.

So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists:

    Method 1:

I suggest to install the Visual C++ Redistributable package in the system to boot and try to run the applications:

Step 1: Clean boot of the system.

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

Note: refer to "How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as usual after a repair.

Step 2: Download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 and install.

Click on the link below and install it on your computer.

Package redistributable Visual C++ to Visual Studio 2013

If she fails to install and then try to install the Package redistributable Visual C++ 2010 in compatibility mode. Follow the steps in the link given below to install Visual C++ 2010 redistributable Packages in compatibility mode. Please see the following article:

Make the programs more compatible with this version of Windows

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 2:

Try to run a scan of the file system (CFS) auditor to check corruption of system files in the system. SFC scan will search for system files corrupted on the computer and fix them.

    1. Press the Windows key + X, click prompt (Admin).
    2. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

    Hi all
I hope that someone will be so good to help my with this situation I tried (and failed) solve this past week or so.

I lost my firewall, l, and network connections.  As advised I checked the status of the automatic Wireless Configuration.  The State was "arrested" and was not a solution for this.  I continue typing applications for a solution ot wczdlg.dll and netshell.dll missing.   Now I can sign BT.openzone - it's the only way I can use the web.

Also I can't start my Windows Firewall.  I have no idea why my system is so badly damaged - the only situation I had was that my charger no longer works and my laptop crashed.  I also brought my laptop (HP compaq nc4200-Xp) to my daughter.
I don't have a recovery disc and the disc I have with drivers does not download.  I would be grateful for any resolution of this problem.    I'm only a moderate ad user have no knowledge regarding the actual system so need advice step by step.

    Hello Lscherr,

Thank you for your message.  To clarify, you are able to print out your design program?  You can try to perform a clean boot and printing of your design program.  A clean boot will start your computer without any 3rd party applications, you can then start your design software and test the printing functionality.  If you are able to print, the problem may be caused by another application of part 3.  Click HERE for instructions to boot.
