What is your computer and its operating system? Can connect you to the Internet using a LAN cable? If so, please plug it and restart your computer, Windows may be able to reinstall wireless driver for you this internal way that you need more information.
I have a problem with the 802.11 wireless network module a/b/g/n dualband Qualcomm atheros - after a few hours of work my computer starts a fall connection for 5 to 30 seconds (I installed monitoring software). It is not question of modem or router from a connection wi - fi on my laptop works very well. I also tried turning off my Norton Insternet Security, but it does not solve the issue. Once I connected my pc to the router although eithernet past all the connection problems.
Question: what is the good replalcement for module of qualcomm-atheros 802.11 a/b/g/n dualband wireless network? I can't figure out what model it is and qualcom seems to offer a different set of products now.
Hello again inter9115,

Have a great rest of your day!
Have installed the latest driver for 64-bit windows 10 of Qualcomm-Atheros site. 10.0.0.329 driver version but it does not recognize my home wifi signal, while it did 2 weeks ago. Apparently some 10 windows update is now conflict with this version of the driver? Read a lot of similar problems on various internet and learned there is no solution, so now I have to connect to the internet using a cable. This turns my lap - top in a table. Thanks to Toshiba and Qualcomm Atheros for the * ty support. One of the users have a fix for this problem? Looking forward to your help!
I have the same problem that started after the latest updates of windows 10, I can get my wifi works by doing a full restore but within hours 10 Windows downloads an update, and wifi is lost again.
I get online answers but do not yet have a solution so attached to the router wired for internet access.
Seems to me that Qualcomm Atheros and windows need to come together and find a solution.
My Tosh c50 with Qualcomm Atheros AR956x adapter keeps dropping its connection with the blank superhub.
The most recent drivers have been installed through Microsoft update, after the win8.1 upgrade.
Queries of blank media if the pilots were from Atheros.
Where on qualcom or Atheros can I have the latest OFFICIAL drivers?
The laptop is fine with the Ethernet cable.
In SIDDer allows to check the channels and power.
It's very frustrating as just cannot be used for banking, shopping, the connection is lost.
See you soon
The Atheros WLan driver for your laptop model can be downloaded from the Toshiba driver page.
But the fall of connection Wlan has not must be linked to the WLan driver.
The question appears using the power of battery or as then as the connection?
Have you tested different WLan (802.11 A B G N) standards?
What about WiFi encryption?
He doesn't interrupt the connection using a combination of different (WPA/WPA2 AES, TKIP) or connect to open WiFi?
This wireless adapter is extremely slow that causes ping high during the game. The game I tried was League of legends. The artheros adapter showed the ping MS 1000 +.
So I decided to see if the necessary driver updated. When you go to Device Manager to update, it showed that she needed no updates. Also checked on the hp site and it showed that I have the latest version of the driver. So I checked the Atheros website and I didn't have the latest version of the driver. So I intalled the latest driver at 10.0.0.263 10.0.0.270.
Yet once I tried the game to see if there is an improvement with Internet and again he showed my ping 1000 + Ms. has not changed at all. No improvement.
I did troubleshoot and it sort of something I do not know what but. No change.
I also changed the powersaver maximum for the wireless card. No change.
Several times I looked at task manager network, it shows send and receive to be at 16/08/32 Kbps or sometimes even zero Kbps. The table looks very small and its value on the chart was of 100 Kbps.
However, I don't see a difference during the videos to youtube or browsing the Internet. Here, the speed is very good. Even during the speedtest, speed showed a ping from 43ms. sending / receiving packets are indicated in 00' sKbps Mbps. The table is not stable it flucatuates strongly.
So I change my card a blekin N300 wireless and all the problems I've had are solved. The ping playing League of legends is 40-70 m send it / receive packets similar to the atheros AR9485 rae but I've seen go up to 88 Kbps at its highest level.
So what can I do to fix the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 wireless adapter?
Any help is appreciated.
What can I do else?
Just an update to someone else who has had this problem for the channel 11 wireless channel setting should do the trick.
I use Envy HP dv6-7307tx
I tried to install Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 series bluetooth 4.0 + HS driver and the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 series wireless LAN driver, it prompted me with an error stating that "the device may not be present or could have been ejected/disconnected from the system.
And my wifi connection is not stable, it disconnects often, which he can't seem to my other laptop.
What should I do to solve?
The list of parts below to your laptop says that it comes with a card without thread/Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 bluetooth, so you have the Intel for W8.1 bluetooth driver.
Here is the link to the last W81. Driver Intel BT for this model of the wireless card.
You want the second driver listed for 64 bit.
You can also try the latest driver wireless card and see if that helps any - once again... 2nd driver for 64 bit.
I am wanting to change the existing WiFi card in our Satellite L50 - B (Qualcomm Atheros ar956x) due to the limitation of speed of connection 150 Mbps! We have a router AC and I move 800 Mbps!
I was hoping to use an Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 however the cards seem to be physically different.
Any ideas would be great!
see you soon
Found some details about this Intel WLan card on the page of Intel:
+ Board form factor: half a PCIe card Mini / m2 (NGFF).
As far as I know the WLan module that is built into the laptop supports Mini-PCI card format.
So, you have a miniPCI module.
But you should consider BIOS support. Not all wireless network cards could be supported by the BIOS.
I just bought the HP ProBook 440 G1 free BACK. I have intalled Windows Pro 8.1 and installed divers downloaded directly from the center of Support of HP in this link. For the wireless drivers, I realized that the I have the QCA9565 of Qualcomm Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter and also Qualcomm-Atheros Bluetooth 4.0 QCA9565 adapter, so I downloaded the latest drivers from here (1.00) and here (11.0.752.0) respectively.
In a few minutes using the laptop, I noticed a steady decline in my internet connection. I checked my router and everything will, work well with other gadgets. So I searched the Internet and found the same problem for other models. However, here and here official HP solutions, apply is not for my Qualcomm-Atheros. I even tried to install the drivers updated in these solutions, but nothing is happening because they are specifically desgned for the Mediatek combo (Ralink).
Finally, you also you know that I've updated the BIOS with the latest version (01.20 REV. (A). can someone help me solve this problem please?
If the research on mine, I found many new versions of the driver that is compatible with my QCA9565 WiFi and Bluetooth component as listed by the official support from HP.
I started with this:
- [Questions] Official HP 10.0.0.270 (5 December 2013) here
- [Questions] Official HP 10.0.0.270 (17 February 2014) here
But my problem has not been resolved, so I tried unninstalling those and the installation of these:
- [Problems less] Bundled WiFi and Bluetooth for AR9485 10.0.0.276 (12 December 2013) here
- [Much less questions] AR9485 10.0.0.287 (March 25, 2014) here
- QCA9565 10.0.0.297 (July 22, 2014) here
With the latest driver I have no problem at all, everything works fine. I suggest you download and install the bundle complete 276 (for divers bluetooth too) and then just update to 297 driver through Device Manager.
I hope this solution helps someone else; because HP does not have any solution at all.
Hello! Users of HP:
I bought a HP 14-d004tx that runs on 8 64-bit windows. I do not have an operating system already installed, so I installed WINDOWS 7 32 bit. I can't detect or connect to my wifi because it says "Windows did not detect a network card installed properly." I don't have the driver that's why I can't install it. Since my laptop is new, I can't find driver downloads for my network card from now. Can someone give me a download link where I can download a driver for my laptop network card. QUALCOMM ATHEROS QCWB 335 MODEL. Thank you.
Hello! I have a few questions on a computer I bought recently, HP ENVY Notebook PC, number of product B5Y66AV dv6 wireless. The internet speed is much slower that it should be and also randomly disconnects / reconnects, a problem that I didn't with my previous laptop. It is not a problem with my router; all my other wireless devices, including other computers, work very well. I tried to install the new driver updates, updated the BIOS, tweaking Power Options, all to nothing does not.
The first three days I've had this laptop here are no problem at all. The internet worked very well, and everything was fine. The issue only began to appear so.
My network card is AR9485 of Qualcomm Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter. I'm running on Windows 8.
Take a look at this document and try the troubleshooting steps to see if it helps to solve your connection problems.
Please let me know
I want to know where I can get drivers for my HP Envy Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 for Windows 10
I looked at the following site:
And he showed that the drivers are not available for Windows 10, I am trying to problems with wi - fi connectivity, otherwise I'll get a USB dongle wi - fi instead.
for the Atheros

I tried several times to install the driver Qualcomm Atheros QCA 9000 Series Wireless LAN for Microsoft Windows 8.1 in my HP 2000 Notebook PC via HP Support Assistant. It downloads fine and looks through the installation process, but returns a gray "x" and seems not to install this driver. Have same problem with Cyberlink Media Suite 10-Office Update, also.
Thanks for posting.
It is possible that there is a problem with the wizard for help where, you may not be able to install the drivers using the program. I would like to troubleshoot the software itself by following the ideas of SuperMario1 in this thread: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Systems-Software-Recovery/HP-Support-Assistant-Window...
Also, you can try to install the Qualcomm and Cyberlink yourself. If you go to HP.com, click on support and troubleshooting omn. Drivers and downloads, enter the model number of the laptop, in research. You will be brough to a page where you can select drivers for your product, after selecting a BONE.
I bougth my laptop like a Windows 7 (ENVY 15 t-k000 CTO) and updated for Windows 10... He says have bluetooth, but I never really used it. Now, I try but can't find any option to turn it on. I looked in Device Manager and all I get is my
"Qualcomm Atheros 802.11b/g/n Wifi AR9485 adapt."
What is my adapter comes with bluetooth?
What should I do to activate it?
The Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 is only a wireless card.
It doesn't have the bluetooth radio.
Hello. I have HP Pavilion 15-e068se, but I can't install Qualcomm-Atheros Bluetooth 4.0 + HS Driver for Microsoft Windows 8
I got error like (this driver is not present or maybe eject please insert and reinstal)! Please help me
PCI\VEN_1814 & DEV_3290 & SUBSYS_18EC103C & REV_00
Now I know why, as in my first answer, there isn't a map qualcomm, it's a Ralink card. Please use the following driver:
You may need the following to Bluetooth:
Qualcomm Atheros 802 AR9485. 11 b | g | n WiFi adapter
When I first my laptop HP 019WM-14N, everything was fine, but after that I have upgraded to windows 8.1 (from Windows 8) I started having problems to stay connected to the wifi. I get a "limited connection" that would be clear me off and auto-reconnect causing delays and a page "can't access the network. Pilot was: 03/05/13 18.104.22.168.
Then there was an update of the windows updated the driver to 25/11/2013 10.0.0.74 and that's when things are worst. Now he dump me off sometimes every two minutes and sometimes it will not be for an hour or more. It is very random, but when things go wrong, it does nothing and I have to connect it to our wired to work around.
Today, I deleted the driver I got from 10.0.0.74 11/2013 and rebooted to reinstsall the orignial driver (22.214.171.124 5/3/13), but things are even worse now. I deposited 3 times just typing this.
Is this a compatibility issue with the Atheros AR9485 and Windows 8.1? What is the solution?
Please uninstall all the drivers of the QCA9000 series and try this Driver Qualcomm Atheros Wireless LAN QCA9000 series.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Please click the 'Thumbs Up' white LAURELS to show your appreciation
Hello, I had problems updating my Qualcomm Atheros 802.11 a/b/g/n dual band Wireless Network driver Module. I looked as hard as I could to find out how to determine the number of chipset, but no cigar. I even took a peek inside my computer to see if I could find something, but that was of no use. The Atheros Wireless Diagnostics utility tells me I have the wrong driver installed (there is 99.9% chance it was my fault). Here is a part of the diagnosis result: installation of the test pilot
This test is to check the installation of the radio driver.
Radio registry keys are OK.

I have compressed upward and attach the file atheros.cz that you need (under attachments below).
Note that it is only good for W8 and older, so it may not work on W10.
I also read a post from another Member of the forum, which wants to install W10 where MS W10 compatibility checker reports that the wireless card you have is not supported.
So... try this and if it works, unfortunately, you will need to get a new wireless card. I suggest you only watch on maps wireless dual band usb external.
Download and uncompress the file that I attached to his record.
Go to Device Manager and click on the network controller needing drivers.
Click the driver tab. Click on set to update driver. Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.
Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.
The hardware ID you posted is present in the driver installation information file.
