Query of database MySQL JAVA

I want to develop a simple application for blackberry that allows me to send and receive data from a MySQL server. I don't know if Java Mobile Programming, but know that I need some kind of web service/servlet. I tried to find out how I can do this in tutorials/forums blackberry but without success. Basically I want to query a MySQL database from a blackberry and want to the returned result. Someone can tell me how can I do that or provide examples of code? Or offer easier alternatives?

I would recommend looking up in the forum, similar questions have been asked several times before.

In particular, I think you might find this useful thread:

  • Using URL query of database parameters

    Hey,.

I am currently using 11.1.1.6.0, an application framework ADF and Oracle Database 11 g Jdeveloper.

So my problem is that I have a table of information on emissions (Syscode, Version number, Date of completion, developer name) and I want to be able to bind the client to a specific database entry. So I guess the best way would be to move the two parameters in the URL, the systemCode and the versionNumber to display information. The two variables, I pass the excellent work, but I don't know how to query the database to get the rest of the information such as, date of completion, the developer name, etc. etc. Any help would be great!

Thanks in advance for your help,

  • Enable Support of databases MySQL via SQL Plugin on device VCO 5.1.1

    Hello

I am trying to connect to a mysql database in a workflow using the plugin SQL 1.1.0. Whenever I run the workflow adds database I get the following error

"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: impossible to find the"com.mysql.jdbc.Driver' for 'MySQL' database driver! " (Name of the dynamic Script Module: addDatabase #8) »

I found documentation on this activation in windows, but not on the device. I tried to place the jar file in

    / opt/VMO/App-Server/Server/VMO/lib/ext

But I still get the error.

    How to install this driver?

    Thank you.

When you have placed the mySQL driver on your device, you did it course set permissions on the file correctly? It must be owned by the vco user and group of vco. The following commands should be available from the directory/opt/vmo/app-server/server/vmo/lib/ext:

    chown vco.vco *.jar

    And:

    *.jar chmod 640

  • 10 ColdFusion error try MSSQL query (SSL) database

    Hello

Thanks for taking a look and for any ideas you may have.

    Rob

ColdFusion application during an attempt errors query the MSSQL 2008 R2 database via an SSL connection.

    Check the data source.

I have EncryptionMethod = SSL; validateServerCertificate = false to the connection string.

Setting a trace on the SQL Server doesn't show he's trying to hit the database at all.

I have a copy of the same database on a SQL Server 2012 box (this is minimum if it's important).   I can change the data source to just point to this server and the app fine works.

    Both SQL servers require SSL.

  • new using databases in Java

First of all Hello, this is my first post in the oracle Java forum

I also know some basic knowledge of java (school) and a database of mysql (freethinking).

I wanted to make a java app where I could use a database in the same pot, but I'm not sure how to do this, I saw in a Web page where it is said that if I used a database from a jar file, the database would not writable only readable is it true?

can anyone put me in how to use a database for an executable jar?

    THX!

    PS: using netbeans

    Welcome to the forum!
    >
Im sorry if I don't explain to me, basically I want to know if I can get an executable jar, a single file, which will open my application that connects to a database, the database is supposed to be locally, but saved in the same pot, so if I wanted to send this file jar to a peer, he would see that the database is filled with.
    >
No - you cannot directly update a file jar with what either by using the standard feature of Java. I don't know why you would want to put the database inside your executable jar file in any case; You can easily distribute the data separately in another jar or zip file.

You have at least two possibilities:

1 use a database file as JavaDB - update the DB with the data and then send the DB files to your peers. You can run a small batch script that would zip/jar files DB.

    2. use JDBC and create a cache result set on the client side. It is a result set that can be listened to in a file and you could then send the file to your counterpart and they could use Java code to read the data stream into their own cache result set and manipulate.

  • Retrieve the attributes of table of database source Java webservice API

    Hello

I have a source of data, with all the columns of mandatoru and the additional columns. I can search these columns, and they are listed in the source database "attribute Mapping" tab.

When I try to get these columns/attributes of Web services Java API ResultElement, I don't have access to them, apparently. I try with the getCustumAttributes(), but it is empty. I also tried mapping of these attributes to something else, but the "Mapping of attributes" tab always reset my selections.

How to read the values of these columns in the result of my search?

    Thank you
    Søren

    Hi Soren,

When you use the Java API, you must indicate ITS what personalized search attributes you want to return. This is done by an fetchAttribute array [integer] ID's discover the Java API in OracleSearchService.doOracleSearch.

Once you add your list to your appeal request, ITS them will return in the resulting XML. I think that the reason that its does not automatically return all custom attributes is to improve performance. Need to return the query more than you need.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards

  • Union of CFC query with the query of database

I try to call a Web service to return a query, and then run a parallel query in another database and the Union both with a query from the query. The Web service server and the local server are CF7, two MySQL running, both tables to access parallel structures. Web service returns what appears to be a normal interview CFDUMP, but then when I have UNION it with the second query, I get "incorrect select list ' or"Columns '1' equal number have different types (SMALLINT, JAVA_OBJECT)"errors. So apparently there's something different about the query from the webservice that is causing problems?

Thanks, that fixed it. I didn't realize that CF had its own function Q of Q CAST. Here is documentation on this subject, where he escaped to others.

    http://livedocs.Adobe.com/ColdFusion/7/htmldocs/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?cont ext = ColdFusion_Documentation & file = 00001271.htm

Adobe: It would be nice if the dip page for a main keyword as a CFQUERY would connect to all linked pages, like the one above. When searching for information using a special tag, it would be much more likely to find the related page.

  • 2012 TS SP1: STEP_Result recording always fail in a database MySQL (standard schema)

    Hi all

I use TS 2012 SP1 to perform very simple sequences (some sequence calls in the same file and a few simple tests without adapters) with the sequential model (see attachments). Each time database record step fails with the error-2147352567 on instruction STEP_RESULT.

This means that I can not connect my my MySQL 5.2 database stage results (UUT_RESULT seems to be saved...).

    My configuration is:

    • Win 7 32 bit
    • 2012 TS SP1
    • 5.2 MySQL + ODBC connectors

The database was built using MySQL Workbench using the sql file in the components folder of TS.

Under TS, the scheme used is a simple duplication of the MySQL Insert Diagram delivered with TS. (see attachments).

No idea what's going on? No work around?

    Fixed a problem!

I've updated the MySQL ODBC version 5.2.5 (instead of 5.2.4) driver and the problem disappeared!

    Thanks for the help.

  • Database MySQL with SQL Toolkit

    Hello

We use CVI 2012 and the SQL Toolkit 2.2 and we want to connect to a MySQL database.

The MySQL database has been created with MySQLServer. When we try to connect with the BD connection, we get an error.

How can connect us to the MySQL database?

What do we have to type in the connection string to the DB? What is the name of the database, the path to the database or anything else?

Have experience with the SQL toolkit?

    Thanks in advance

You must install the mysql odbc connector and then create an ODBC dns for your database.

  • Using Webworks database in Java.

    Hi all.

Just a quick question. Is it possible to use/access/write in a database created by an application of webworks (using javascript) in a java application built eclipse?

I've already tried it and of course it is encrypted. I tried to copy the file, open a file connection and copy the data from the original file to the copy and then open the copy, as other people mentioned, but it is always encrypted. I believe that this method is only to overcome a java built the database previously saved on a SD card that uses only the card encryption.

Of what my research has shown is that webwork applications automatically encrypt it to the databases. So I'm assuming that only a webworks application can decrypt this type of database and there is no way that a created Java application will be able to access. I hope that's not true!

    Thanks for your time guys!

    Rob

According to http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/Database-problem-in-the-webworks, the PB is encrypted and cannot be opened with the key stored in the webworks app.
