  Can't believe that! As far as I know this laptop was shipped only with a 512MB DDR2 533 MHz (PC2-4200) 200 - PIN SODIMM module.
  Of course you can improve the memory up to 2 GB using two modules 1024Mo.

  Well, what say, the CPU is hit you can find easily by using a material like Everest diagnostic program. It would provide useful information on your laptop hardware.

  But to be honest, I'm very skeptical as to upgrade CPU on laptops.
  If you have already modified several processors on laptops so you know that's not very simple and more complicated as the CPU upgrade on desktop computers.

  Don t worry about temperature of the CPU. Changes in temperature and it is variable.
  The temperature level depends on the use of the laptop and
  the CPU temperature will be higher if some applications are running!

  While it is absolutely not unusual to say 50-60 degrees temperature. It of normal!

  Did you know that Toshiba laptops support protection against overheating? Not?
  You don't have to be afraid. If the temperature is too high the notebook will stop down automatically to avoid overheating of the material. ;)

  I have the Satellite M70 with the same screen. I use it extensively almost 4 years now and display still works perfectly.
  Hardware failure is nothing exceptional for all electronic products. On some of them, some components are working longer. There is no general statement about it.

  Please contact nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer and talk with them. Pick up information on the repair and costs.
