• A question about the order of COLUMN sqlplus and PL/SQL

  I would like to ask a question about sqlplus command COLUMN that I use in order to define the length of my queries of output columns. So, for example, I run something like:
  

  COLUMN market FORMAT a20

  That is why any column with the name 'the market' will be composed by sqlplus as 20 characters.
  
  Currently I'm working on a PL/SQL script that makes this automatic procedure, in other words, instead of manually write for each column in the above COLUMN order, it uses the DBMS_SQL. He read first as input the name of the table and then inside a loop, it detects the maximum length.
  
  For those interested, here is the Oracle documentation page that I found (example 8)

  If everything worked well enough I managed to recover the maximum of each column in my table length, except that I don't know how to use the COLUMN sqlplus command in my PL/SQL block. I would like to do something like that (it's just a pseudo-code)

          currentColumnName = getColumnName(tableDescriptionObject, colIndex);

  Hi, Dariyoosh,

  Sory, I don't think that there is a simple way to publish SQL * most orders fom PL/SQL.
  PL/SQL runs in the database (back-end); There isn't any direct contact with SQL * more at the front end.

  The best way I know is that PL/SQL script (myfile.sql) with orders of the COLUMN, and then have SQL * more run the script (@myfile).

  Hi, I have a question about the actionbar behavior in the first screen of the application

  index.htm pushes immediately main.htm with actionbar. ActionBar clicks and responds correctly until I have add overflow on some buttons.

  When I click on the button of overflow, the overflow is displayed at the bottom of the page, the top of the overflow is put in correspondence with the upper part of the actionbar so buttons actionbar overflowing content is not visible.

  I reproduce this problem with the sample application.

  This is expected behavior? Is there a way around it?

  I have a question on the order of the COIL. Here is the syntax of my sql script file

  It works quite well, and every time the script is run, the file ' * result.txt "* contains the result of the request." " However, whenever there is a blank line at the beginning of the file ' * result.txt* '. I don't know why this unwanted blank line is inserted automatically whenever I run my script. I have to delete manually (otherwise I have problems with my script Unix interpret these files) and as I have several files to update, this could be your time. Is it possible to get rid of this unwanted blank line?

• Question about OWA scripts - how much time do need to run or not at all

  Just a question about OWA on Exchange 2010 scripts. I have a site and unique Exchange Server. I noticed that we have a powershell script scheduled in the Task Scheduler running daily that defines all the mailbox OWA strategy. This policy is defined in the EMC access client/organizational Configuration (EMC) tab.

  My question is... If the policy is already configured in the access client/organizational Configuration tab, should this powershell script run at all?  Not all new users get this strategy by default (since we have only one policy OWA) If you enable Outlook Web access on the mailbox of the user in the appearance of the mailbox tab?  My thought is that the powershell script and the calendar was just a postponement of the old Exchange 2003 for strategies for the OWA...

• CD player burn one song stops, it burned about 6 songs the first time, I tried a lot of things without success.

  Background information:

  Laptop Lenovo W500

  Operating system Windows 7 (64-bit)

  Office 2010

  Media Player 12

  Optical CD Matshita UJ862A

  Blank CD Memorex = "music" CD - R, 40 x, 700MB, 80 min

  file types .m4a (bought classical music to ITunes)

  optical CD driver = Microsoft 6.1.7601.17514

  History:

  Bought a CD of classical music of 50 song on ITunes.

  I went to Staples, found a young guy (I'm thinking they know best), told him I want to burn music, this CD is the best.  He suggested the memorex, and the said format of CD - R, that's what you want.  Went home, put a white, copied 6 pieces of the songs on the album, opportunity MediaPlayer, put them in the burn list, start burn, every 6 worked.  Tried the CD that I just did in the boom box and car, played very well.

  Later the same night, tried to copy over the same album, 7 on another drive (same set of discs), same Media Player, same process.  1 song was burned and arrested.  This CD plays in the boom box.

  Has made a hot start, I tried same thing again once, burned a song, stopped.  Tried that disc in the boom box and it displayed "DISC" (which is boom box for "I can't read this").  He put in the D drive on the laptop to see if I could re - record, launched back out and says something like (insert a disc).

  Of course, that ruin discs.  After about 6 more ruined disks (same thing more than once), I did research and put implement what I learned.  It is:

  • Windows updates (says my MediaPlayer is up-to-date)
  • remove the upper and lower filter filter records
  • a lot of hot and cold boots boots
  • experienced burning is always set to "audio CD" and selected 'slow' to burn speed.
  • bought Roxio Easy CD (does not work, said it not m4a)
  • bought a kit cleaning optical CD, he ran several times.
  • called Panasonic (Matshita manufacturers). They said call Lenovo (has not yet called Lenovo)

  After all this, same thing, over and over again.  I've ruined most of the CD packaging.   I never got an error or warning throughout this nightmare messages.

  I am 'chicken' when it comes to download free software (I'm phobic about viruses), so I did not download all the MediaPlayers there because I don't seem to find the download of the MediaPlayer software on the genuine Microsoft site (I thought I could try to uninstall 12 MediaPlayer, and then put it back - but have not yet done this).  I could buy a new optical drive to replace the Matshita supplied with my notebook, but it seems like a waste because this one now plays well, don't file uploads/copy of data, good reading.  Recently, I have loaded software pretty intense to the laptop off disks - worked well.  I see nothing in the properties of these files of classical music tab all content protected or protected against copying.

  I am really puzzled.  Ideas?  Never heard of something like that?  Why the degradation of the burning of 6, 1 vote against zero in just a few hours?  Honestly can't thing of something that has changed (same laptop, office, same son, did not move the laptop, does not threaten the laptop - same temperature in the room, package of discs did not leave the office - all normal conditions).

  Hi Tom - looks may have answered your question! I thought you had a problem with the creation of an audio disc, and if it IS what you want then the files need to be converted (for burning audio tracks also). I have not tried to burn a cd using iTunes platform (because I don't use CD much these days except in the car) so I'll give it a go. I have no personal experience of Boombox, but a (very short) research suggests that the mp3 is ok but not m4a. Thus, it seems that the incompatibility is here question.

  I'll look again, the burner in iTunes and then come back with a few other options for you.

  The reverse is actually closer to the truth, but we can't really make general statements like that.

  SQL is not a language of the proceedings.  Looking at the code SQL, we could say that the code does, but we cannot say much about how that code it.  In other words, SQL is a language that describes the results you get, not the way to get them.

  The optimizer will do everything what he thinks is faster if it does not change the results.  If any order in which they are applied (in outer joins or CONNECT BY queries, for example), then think of the join is done first, and the value of the WHERE clause is applied to the result of the join.

  Here is a query looks very much like you posted:

  SELECT d.deptno

  e.ename, e.sal

  OF scott.dept d

  LEFT OUTER JOIN scott.emp e ON e.deptno = d.deptno

  WHERE e.sal > = 3000

  ORDER BY d.deptno

  ;

  Output:

  DEPTNO ENAME SAL

  20 3000 SCOTT

  The scott.dept table contains deptnos 30 and 40; Why are they not in the result set?  The query behaves as if the outer join is made first (production 15 rows), then the WHERE clause has been applied.  All lines with deptno = 30 had sals down han 3000 and all single line with deptno = 40 was NULL in the sal column, then these lines are excluded (as well as other lines of deptnos 10 and 20), and only 3 lines above are left.

  My questions stem from the same question.

  I am importing a 1200 to 900 instituted .avi files ask PE into several pieces.

  The reason is that I have an effect where a ghostly character I appear in a grave yard behind my character of Lucy.

  Hello.  Just a few questions on usage in real time, in fact on the swf file.

  First of all, I want to create something of a drag and drop interface.  Is it possible to have a stage act as two separate steps?  I mean, is it possible to have the left side of my step hold all the components, they are moved to the right side of the scene and placed anywhere, the user can then click on save, and only the right side of the scene is saved?

  Secondly, I'm testing a few things.  What I would do to get a type of free transform on an image on the stage in real time, in the swf file?  So once the movie is played, the user can resize any image then how they like by dragging a corner of the image...

(N-Able Technologies) Recently on our servers, we have observed that after some automated routines, we would find that the "Unscheduled stop" window was displayed after these routines.  After asking a few questions to N-Able, I discovered that their routine included restarting the command shutdown / r/f in order to ensure that the judgment is carried out successfully.

  My question would be as follows:

  This could potentially be dangerous to all servers that we have with SQL or Exchange databases on them?  It may cause corruption if the databases are forced to stop?
