Question about routing

Hi all

I have my doubts about the "Routing" (data dependent routing DDR) using the FML32 buffer.

There are two configuration files: 1) 2) dmconfig ubbconfig. The two configuration files contain the section "Routing".

(1) in the ubbconfig:

ROUTING Section-> parameter FIELD

Question 1: Can I use any field, regardless of the field "number" assigned to this field? ('number of field' more 8191)

(2) in the dmconfig

DM_ROUTING Section-> parameter FIELD

Question 2: For FML32, there has to be a less than equal to 8191 o field number, which is the reason?

I thank in advance

Hello

I'm sorry that you have some doubts about the DDR. It does not work with the FML32 buffer and maybe you met a documentation error? 8191 number field is limited a number of FML field limit, not an FML32 number limit field. Have you found somewhere in the documentation it says that, for FML32, the number of the field must be less than 8192?

In the UBBCONFIG of ROUTING section and the sections of DMCONFIG DM_ROUTING, so you can use any valid domain FLM or FML32 name. Don't forget that Tuxedo uses tables of different area depending on whether the FLM or FML32 fields are referenced, and there are various environment variables that must be set up according to whether you use FLM or FML32.

Is this what clarify questions of routing of DDR?

Kind regards

  • Question about router 72XX and LAN switching

    Hello 2Tous

    There is a 7204VXR/NPE-G2 router, our client wishes to ensure the transparent flow of about three hundred vlan via the router, switch functionality as trunking switchport allowed vlan xxx, yyy, zzz. Given that the router is not broadcast a vlan and for the 72xx series, I have found no commuting port adapter, is it possible to meet the demand of customers without having to install additional standalone switch.

    Hello Sultanov,

    > our customer wants to make sure that the transparent flow of about three hundred vlan via the router,

    You can use vlan based on IP with L2TPv3 transport

    See

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/iOS/12_3t/12_3t2/feature/guide/gtl2tpv3.html#wp1043064

    However, I'm seriously worried about the amount of traffic that the customer is supposed to move around on the links:

    a NPE - G2 can handle 500 Mbps of traffic full suplex between two GE ports.

    And sharing 300 VLAN between two sites look as inappropriate.

    Be aware of this, L2TPv3 should be able to carry the frames of the 300 VLAN between two sites on an IP network, but traffic levels must be controlled in some way or the router the Wan link can be submerged

    Edit:

    If the customer wants to take over the 300 VLAN locally within a single site, it is a work of lan switch and I would use one (C4500 or better) with a link routed to the C7204 that act as router WAN

    L2TPv3 could support local switching but this has an impact on performance (traffic not called twice by the router)

    Hope to help

  • Question about lights LED R7000

    Question about this quote from the Manual: "when the router is turned on, the light during approximately 10 seconds and then turn. If all lights lit, this indicates a fault in the router"my router lights LED is turned off. Are they supposed to? I discovered how manually to disable using genius. NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 is defective?

    I think the manual means just that at first they all turn on, then off for a few seconds. LED lights depending on what services are available.

    The power light should stay lit. Port LAN LED come on if a device is connected the WiFi LED (Amber on white, 100 M, 1000 m), are we if the radios are turned on. The Wan or the internet LED lights up if there is a connection to the internet. Some of them you can turn off via the user interface, but it is handy to have on so that you know the status.

    It looks like your router working normally.

  • Ask questions about the functionality of EA8500 MU-MIMO

    Dear Linksys

    I bought EA8500, and it arrived today.

    I have two questions about the functionality of MU-MIMO of EA8500 AP.

    1. I want to compare the performance between SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO, but there is no option to control this feature in the router admin page. Is that one of the possible ways?

    2 EA8500 supports 1733 Mbps wireless speed, but it resembles the speed of 1 Gbps ethernet cable.

    This router supports really speed 1 Gbps ethernet? or y at - it an option to support more throughput as the aggregation of links?

    Thank you

    Hi, hyeonu. For your first query, it is not possible because there is no option to disable the feature of MU-MIMO on your Linksys EA8500 router. In addition, with regard to your second, you can get a higher throughput of 1 Gbps since this is the maximum capacity of your ethernet connection.

  • Question about the issue of the Double NAT...

    Hah I posted for a little.  I have a question about Double NAT.  Is it wise to launch?  Reason why is that I have a WRT54G v6 router and the Zoom ADSL X 4 Modem/Router/gateway and it seems that sites take just a little more time to respond to Web sites.  I just want to know I have to turn off (i.e., go in with my router bridge Mode) or what.  Or leave it alone.  Now one last thing: that the problem of slow could actually be AT & T but I have the feeling that this isn't.

    What configuration options you have on the Zyxel to fill? What have you tried exactly?

    The basis for the first option is:

    * Bridged Zyxel.

    * Linksys configured for PPPoE with your user name and password for the internet connection.

    Instructions to fill the Zyxel are here or here depending on the exact model of Zyxel.

    The second option is:

    * Zyxel doing business as the router. I assume here that the Zyxel is on 10.0.0.2 with a subnet mask 255.255.255.0.

    Unplug the Linksys to the Zyxel. Connect a computer to the Linksys. Open the web interface of the WRT to http://192.168.1.1/

    On the main Setup page:

    1. change the LAN IP of 192.168.1.1 address 10.0.0.1.

    2 disable the DHCP server.

    3. save the settings. You will lose the connection. Unplug the computer.

    4. wire one of the numbered LAN ports of the Linksys for the Zyxel. Do not use the internet port of Linksys!

    Now you should be able to open the Linksys web interface to http://10.0.0.1/ all devices connected wireless of Linksys or connected to one of the three LAN ports must have a connection to the internet via the Zyxel.

  • I have a Photosmart C7280 and s question about a decision of the network.

    I currently have two workstations connected to a router via ethernet cables.  They are connected to a single (not HP) printer with USB cable through a USB switch.  Two laptops to connect to the wireless router.  I could replicate the existing configuration with the C7280, but the idea of a network in which the laptops were allowed to participate is very attractive.  One of the laptop is running Windows version 7, the other computers running Linux.  If I go for an ethernet network, the laptops will be able to connect to the printer via the router?  If I go for a wireless network, desktop computers will be able to connect to the printer via their ethernet cables?  A couple of Wireless USB adapters are a possibility.

    I understand that you have questions about networking with your printer.

    Yes, wired network connections will be no problem to connect to a wifi connected printer.  Most routers bridge cable and wireless to work as a single network.  There are some routers between wired and wireless networks, but these are before any company grade routers and network equipment.

    A wired desktop computer will be able to print to a wireless printer as long as it is connected via the same router.  Conversely, a wireless computer can print to a printer connected Ethernet as long as it's the same router.

    I recommend using a network for the printer configuration, if possible, to avoid printing problems.  USB hubs have been known to cause printing problems, although this isn't always the case.

    Yes, the "Import cryptographic key" command can take a url and also from the terminal entrance. In this terminal case wil is much easier.

  • Various Questions about wireless access controller

    Help me please with these fundamental questions about the role of the access (AC) wireless controller.

    Assume that the access controller and Access Point are connected via IP:

    -Wireless frames sent to AP to acre; include the original MAC header (on the way to wireless access)?  If Yes, is there a Cisco AC gets to fill the WLAN and LAN it is plugged (which means that it outputs as ethernet frames as if they were issued by Mobile Stations).

    -Is the AC necessarily the default gateway for mobile stations? I guess not. But it is possible the default gateway?

    The Cisco AC can function as a DHCP relay?

    The AP creates a tunnel to the controller. All IP traffic from the AP to the controller will address the AP source and dest IP to the interface of the Manager of the AP on the controller. The wireless client traffic is encapsulated inside this tunnel. When it hits the controller the CAPWAP is removed leaving the customer's original package to be sent to the local network through the controller.

    The controller should not be the default gateway for wireless clients because it is not a router. Think of it as a device that converted into wired wireless traffic.

    Normally, the controller acts as a proxy DHCP. Once the customer has joined a WLAN, the controller sends the DHCP packets to the DHCP server on behalf of clients such as the IP address of assistance normally configured on the router for cable customers. You can also configure the controller to act as a DHCP server for wireless clients.

  • Simple question about Append hint

    ORACLE-BASE - title

    The link above, I have just a basic question about add suspicion...

    How the APPEND Hint affects the performance

    The APPEND tip tells the optimizer to perform an access direct-path insert, which improves the performance of INSERT .. SELECT operations for several reasons:

    • Data are added at the end of the table, instead try to use the free space in the table.
    • Data is written directly to the data files, passing the buffer cache.
    • Referential integrity constraints are ignored.

    I wanted to just understand to what extent is the third correct point

    -----------------

    CREATE TABLE emp
    (
    emp_id a PRIMARY KEY/NUMBER
    emp_name VARCHAR2 (100),
    dept_id NUMBER
    );

    CREATE TABLE dept
    (
    dept_id NUMBER PRIMARY KEY,
    dept_name VARCHAR2 (100)
    );

    ALTER TABLE ADD FOREIGN KEY (Dept_id) emp made REFERENCE to Department (Dept_id);

    INSERT / * + append * /.
    IN emp
    Select 1, 'King', 100 from dual;

    COMMIT;

    The insert will definitely give an error

    ORA-02291: integrity constraint (SCOTT. SYS_C0013725324) violated - parent not found key

    Am I missing something here?

    See you soon,.

    Manik.

    sqlldr can and does ignore referential integrity / triggers and same uniqueness in a load path direct, insert / * + append * / doesn't - you do not direct path when they (constraints) exist.

    parallel is always a direct route, if you go in parallel, you add.

  • The specific question about the placement of an image into text.

    Hello, I had a question about the placement of an image into text.

    I did the contours to create text to place the image inside. My text is 5 words and two lines inside the box.

    When I do create contours he gives me 2 transparent route separate layers for the top and the bottom line.

    How will I be able to do that in a single layer of compound to place image that expands to the two lines?

    First of all, there are two ways of describing the type. The default value creates anchored objects. You want a separate object, so hold down the Option/Alt key when you create outlines. Drag the new contours to separate the text block.

    It is useful to open the layers panel and view the contents of the layer. You have created a group which consists of two transparent traces. In the layers panel, expand the layer so you can see the structure. Shift-select the two transparent traces. (Make sure that the group is not selected.)

    Then choose object > tracks > make a compound path. This makes the two transparent tracks into one. Then, you can place or paste into the single compound path.

  • a few questions about vcloud

    I have a few questions about vcloud.  Currently, we use labmanager and are testing vcloud to see how we can apply it to our environment.  The current labmanager serves the following purpose:

    -create dev and QA 'environments' (configurations) that are copies of production servers so that the changes can be tested

    -environments deploy everything from models that are clones of production servers that we update as required

    -We have several models of "database" that freshen production according to the needs in order to provide a current recuree version of the database of production for these environments

    -computers in virtual environments are able to talk to each other using their 'production' IPs, because IP addresses are closed and accessible only internally within the

    -Each VM has an "external IP" that we can use to access the virtual machines from outside the environment.  for example, access a Web site through the front-end server within the environment, or RDP to a windows virtual computer within an environment.

    I am trying to determine how this translates into vcloud configuration, and I think I have a rough idea.  However I have a few questions:

    As I understand it, has no way to RDP to a virtual machine in a paralytic 'environment' unless the virtual machine is directly routed, correct?  In other words, we cannot copy the configuration that we have above, where the virtual machine has an internal IP address that corresponds to the IP address of the server in production and is used to refer to other virtual machines in the same environment of vApp, however there is also one external IP address, we can use to access this virtual machine via RDP or access its site Web etc.?

    I have 2 servers windows 2008, I imported as models, and each time I deploy a virtual using the VAPP model computer, the server seems to restart after 15 minutes be on is, and it seems to go through a windows installation, where it says "preparing your system for a first use" etc.  And when it arrives, the administrator password I put is no longer correct (so I have no idea why / what it changes the administrator password).  At this point, the virtual machine is useless since I can't connect to it.  No idea why this happens each time I have deploy a model VM?

    We talk here: http://www.yellow-bricks.com/2010/09/15/vcd-networking-part-3-use-case .  Not exactly a step by step for your case to use, but you should be able to get this up and running and configure NAT in the opposite direction.

    I just ordered a HP 50 g graphic calculator! I have a few questions about this so hang on tight! What is the USB connector on the calculator? Mini-USB, micro USB, or is it a connector owner, "custom". Then, it would be possible to connect a keyboard to the HP 50 g by using the USB Port? Is there a program that would make this possible?
