  No problem. I think that the warning means that you will not be able to use Undo to bring back the pictures and it will have to do it manually. There is no risk of corruption.

• Question of original number suffix

  After several years to nominate my images go, I decided that my convention was not doing the job if I want to change my convention and rename all my old images.  The problem I have is with the suffix of the original number which is part of my old convention I want to keep for my new.  When I rename the files that came my 5DII and 7 d, the number is not displayed.  Files from my wife T2i, initially imported and renamed the same day as my 5DII files, rename correctly as files initially renamed in LR2.

  Example:

  Old:

  model - RXF_yymmdd_suffix.cr2

  Web results - RXF_100625_2040.cr2

  New:

  model - yyyymmdd-hhmmss-suffix - RXF.cr2

  result - 20100625-120145 - RXF.cr2

  This seems to happen only on files that I renamed initially LR3 under the old model.  Rename new files very well.

  Does anyone know where this original number suffix is stored (or not stored as appropriate)?

  Problem solved.  Unfortunately, the time to get my 7 d and the release of LR3 led me to believe that LR3 had something to do with this problem.  But that's when I got the 7 d that I began to including the camera in file name - just after the suffix.  Get rid of the camera, and here, I can find the suffix!  Here, I thought that it was stored somewhere in LR, but it's not.

• Question associated with Snipping tool

  The cutting tool is a good accessory for windows. I use windows 8 and have this question-how to make screenshot of my Start menu? Whenever I hit the Start button, Snipping tool window disappears so I can't do the screenshot of Start Menu. If possible, kindly help how do. Otherwise, I asked Microsoft to make some changes to the it :)

  I downloaded myself, used the CD Burner XP tool, and was able to boot from the file.

  Then try to DL the file and use the XP CD burner to burn a new DVD.

• I have an external hard drive that I formatted using vista. I can't read this same hard drive with xp

  I recently formatted a WD external hard drive via my computer vista laptop. I downloaded several MB of files on the hard drive. My Vista laptop crashed and I need a new hard drive. I'm trying to access these files through my XP laptop. I see the DRIVE - "D". However, when I try to access the drive, what happens with "the disk in drive d is not formatted" do you want to format it now?

  I have 2 operating systems on my computer. Genuine Windows XP and Windows 7.

  I use Windows 7 for this post.
  I have a lot of problems with them

  1. when I turn on the computer memory test forever account.

  NoClassDefFoundError is usually the result of a missing JAR, but in this case, I try to instantiate a class from my application JAR. In fact, the class in question is an inner class from another class that I already instantiated. Here is a fragment of the inner class:

  I have the instantiate like this:

  The code as shown gives a NoClassDefFoundError when I try to make the instantiation. If I comment out the call to readReturnInstance, the problem goes away:

  I'm puzzled as to why the presence of this line of code would result in a NoClassDefFoundError. Perhaps miss something elsewhere. Thanks for any light you might be able to do on that.

  Found the problem. There was a code (not shown above) that attempted to access the class of primitive types (for example, int.class). It works in some Java environments (the code in question came originally from an Android project). BlackBerry obviously can't get an object of class for primitive types, but the compiler don't is not complaint. As long as the function that contains the offending code is never called, the class can be instantiated at run time. Perhaps packer is smart enough to omit unused functions. This caused some confusion since commenting the line mentioned above does not really solve the problem, but it causes the offending function not called. Would be nice if the compiler is complaining about this.
