  This is not possible, that both jad and cod is necessary to install an OTA application. the jad file contains a description of the application, the cod is the real application.

  I exported just a 10-minute video using the H.264 format and preset YouTube HD 720, but the size of the file ends up being about 611 MB.

  I lowered the bitrate, and then I got the file size down a little but not a lot. I was just wondering if this is what size usually is a 10 minute file or if I can reduce the size somehow, except using bitrate

  You can also reduce the size of the image and/or reduce the pace.  The size of next standard frame down to 1280 x 720 is 960 x 540 and 640 x 360 after that.  In fact, fewer pixels produces a smaller file.  For all lower frame rates go, you could reduce it by half (so 29.97 FPS reduced to 15 fps and 24 fps to 12 frames per second); However, this affects the quality of movement, and the H264 is so effective that it is rare to reduce your frame rate, these days.

  Is too large because of your internet 611 MB upload?  Or do you need a smaller file to fit on 521MB USB Flash drives or some other limitations of storage?

  I guess that you are referring to cross-references to other documents or external files, because everything within the document will always work. You can't prevent it. It's like a link to a file or a folder on your drive HARD or on a network.

  As soon as the file or folder is changed (moved, renamed), the link is broken and useless.

  You must create the .htaccess file in the same directory as the .jad file and several .cod files:

  content of the .htaccess file:

  AddType text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jad
  Jar of AddType application/java-archive

  Then put all the COD files and the file JAD that you find in the directory deliverables/Web/x.x.x on the server to the same location as the .htaccess file.

  Here's the scenario.  We put all our descriptions of ministerial posts in a PDF file.  My boss wants to display the PDF but doesn't want people to send by e-mail, print, copy etc...

  Now, I know the basic things (copy, paste, comment, print help) and have implemented it, but the thing email me hesitating.

  My * THINKING * is that it should be possible to encrypt the PDF file, and then have the web browser to provide the PDF file, a password to open it.  Even if the user registers in their office when they try to open once again, they will not have the password.  (I know they can always take screenshots etc, but want to do due diligence here).

  Here's my question, it's * possible * (easy question!)  If you want to really some bonus points, the high level "How-to" would also be appreciated, for example Yes, you must use the XYZ in the SDK API, etc...

  Yes CFML = ColdFusion Markup Language, which may be part of the .cfm, cfc, and cfr files and other if you care about monkey with default file extensions.

  If clearing the cache didn't cause your changes to take effect, you will need to describe more about your installation.  This isn't a place where ColdFusion has problems, it works as advertised.

  When I open the file gateway.properties by ITTO's domain\application\peoplesoft\psigw web server directory, I see certain values that are not the same, when I open the file gateway.properties of PIA by navigating to Peopletools-> Integration Broker - > gateway configuration-> gateway.properties file. I tried to clear the web server cache, restart the web server. Even then, I see quite different values of these two places.   There is only one file per domain. It is read by a web service call when you view it in the PIA. This allows you to edit files from another server. The only time they will be different, that is if the URL of your entry point to a server other than the local server.

  If the URL of your entry points to the same server as your local file, then the only advantage to use the PIA to modify the file (except easy access), it is that sometimes it will update the properties in memory. Change the file in the file system requires to restart the web server for the properties to reload in memory.
