Question of sensitivity - to my pen tip!

Hey,.

I really hope someone has a solution for me.

I have, until recently, been using Photoshop 7, but have now upgraded to CC.

In the new version of Photoshop, the sensitivity of the pen is fickle at best, openly functionless at worst.

I tried to disable shortcuts.

I tried to restart the countless times.

I tried to update the drivers.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the tablet.

I tried this trick, I've seen in other conversations on the addition of a text file in the program folder files.

I tried looking for "Windows Ink", but there is no ink options Windows in the Tablet Properties window.

I'm not giving up the ghost here, guys, and I need help before I go crazy. It's not like the Tablet does not work, it works as if it were a mouse inside Photoshop. It worked without problem in the older version and it works in all other programs I have, it's just this one.

I am running Win 7, and the Tablet is a Wacom Bamboo Fun.

How the decommissioning of the version will affect my subscription?

It will make no difference to your subscription.  You would continue to update the latest version of Photoshop and new versions to come.

Photoshop changed to use the API of Microsoft system to support stiletto with CC2014, but need for tablet drivers allow Windows to ink.  In your case, you know for sure that the former pilot of bamboo, you are apparently forced to use, do _not_ allows windows to ink, so you need a workaround solution, or use an earlier version of Photoshop when you need to pen pressure.

Personally, it would mean all the time for me, and I wouldn't be able to work without the pressure of the pen, so I would update my tablet.  Life goes by and things change.  If you want to use new software, it seems you need to have the right tools.

  • Question of sensitivity magic mouse

    Hello

    I have a few problems with my Magic Mouse since the last update OS (Sierra).
    When I'm using programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, it became almost impossible to zoom with precision.
    My screen will zoom 500% with the slightest movement of the finger.
    I move not even my finger, just move the pressure of my finger tip point.

    This was not the case in El Capitan.
    Really hope that this bug gets fixed because it makes these very frustrating easy tasks.

    Since I'm on multiple Adobe programs professionally, I have this problem too in the Sierra.

    It helped me to slow down a little zoom: double click on Adjust and scrolling speed of your mouse or trackpad - Apple Support

    Unfortunately, it is still not as good as he was at El Capitan. I really hope that Apple will fix this bug as soon as possible.

  • Hi-i just installed photoshop - the sensitivity of my wacom stylus pen does not work? any tips? Thank you

  • R7 - 572 is screen pen stylus scratches-resistant?

    I am considering buying the R7-572 mainly for its pen functionality.

    I can't find any information on the type of medium used on his screen. I have a very old laptop that I used for years with a wacom pen. Its screen is heavily scratched and marred years of using the pen.

    R7-572 uses gorilla glass or similar to protect its screen? I fear that the use of heavy pen will damage or scratch the surface of the screen. I also read that the use of a screen protector will reduce the sensitivity of the pen, which would be a huge negative for me.

    It's been more than a month that I use my R7 - 572 for drawing, so I thought to come back and share my thoughts on the screen.

    I am pleased to announce that extensive drawing (I'm a professional artist) on the screen has not yet resulted in scratches. I should also mention that I don't use screen on my R7 screen protectors as those would not interfere with my drawing.

    So my experience so far is that the R7' in-572 screen is durable and do not scratch with a wide use of the Acer stylus pen.

    If anyone has any questions on this subject, or anything related to the use of the R7 for artistic creation, please do not hesitate to ask!

  • Tip of the stylus in Tablet PC Input Panel does not

    I use a Bamboo Pen & Touch Tablet. When I used it first, Input Panel has worked well, and I could write a text in the Panel. For some reason, when I open Input Panel and hover above him, the pen tip does not appear, and my cursor stays on the screen. I can't write in the Panel at all. I tried to reinstall my gear for the Tablet and I tried to restart the Tablet PC Input Panel on the Services page, and it still does not work. How can I fix?

    Hi emccnnll,

    1. you remember changes to the computer before the show?

    You can try to replace the pen and check if it helps.

    Step 1:

    Also, try the following steps:

    a. go to the start menu and open the under Wacom tablet preference file utility in your programs.

    b. Select Delete all settings, then test the pen.

    If the pointer does not move but the driver is running, you can open the tablet properties panel.

    Press Ctrl and click the about button to see a diagnostic screen. Check if the pen is detected.

    I also suggest you contact support bamboo and check.

    Step 2:

    Because it seems to be a recent issue, you can also try a system restore and check.

    You can try a system restore to a previous point where you have not experienced the problem.

    Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

  • Touch and hold right click Pen

    I was recently loaned a small Wacom Intuos Pen (CTL-480), try. It is my first time using a graphics tablet, so please excuse my ignorance.

    I have the settings then tap and hold the stylus (long wait, I heard called) will do a right-click. It had been a lot of work, until I discovered that does not work in Lightroom. Is it possible that I can do this job?

    These settings are the default Windows via the control panel settings and refer to items on the screen... which is to support icons, menus pop-up, popup dialogs etc through the operating system.

    Parameters for the real feather must be made through the application of the Wacom tablet properties where click is the only option for the outside pen tip

    Most applications implement sensitivity to pressure, as in the drawing, and other applications such as word processing and others to implement the actions dialog and menu popups.

    For use with the right button in lightroom, you will need to assign a button as Theresa J said.

  • Apple pencil using the battery... Why is Pen MS so much better?

    I know that Apple pencil has many more features than the Microsoft Pen.  Many more sensors.  The exchangeable pen tip.  Latency is also claimed to be superior.  I can understand power/battery usage could be higher to achieve this objective, but there is always a big problem of the difference between the load once a week and once a year in charge

    What are you talking about?

    Read here: for a quick charge, plug your Apple pencil into the connector of the lightning on your iPad Pro. If the battery runs out, you can just load from your iPad Pro for 15 seconds and 30 minutes of use

    Hello

    I'm looking into getting a style/pen to use on the touch screen. There the reccomendations? I prefer a pen with a fine tip, like the Touch Jot.

    My use will be to write the professional notes in evernote/one note.

    I can't find another review on the specific pen for this laptop, so your experiences would be appreciated!

    Opinions appreciated, thank you.

    The S3 has apparently no digitizer, so you will need a capacitive stylus, which are basically the same.

    Choose the smallest pen tip that saves constantly on the screen, unfortunately causing some trial and error.

    Pens, will register on some machines and not others. It depends on the density of the capacitive sensors on the screen.

  • The Lenovo Helix digitizer pen will work with Windows 7

    I work in the it Department and we have recently stopped a number of Lenovo Helix to be used for special projects.

    We will be downgraded to Windows 7 64 bit.

    My question is will be the pen digitizer always supported by Windows 7?

    Maybe I over looked, but I didn't see any drivers that seem to be associated with the digitizer pen or any what previous reference to this and downgrading to Windows 7.

    Any information you can provide will be useful.

    Welcome to the forum!

  • (Redirected) Motherboard upgrade question

    I have a question for you experts. I have a Dell Studio 1735. It runs great but extremely slow. Most ram I can put in it is 4 gigs unless I update the motherboard with a plank of 1737, which will give me a max of 8 GB and a lot more speed.

    So my question is, can I change these tips on without running into a lot of trouble. I'm hoping to use the same processor, but add two sticks of memory 4gig and maybe another 1 TB drive.

    Any help is appreciated. And thanks in advance.

  • pen with the right button

    When I take the right-click/barrel-Elitepad 900 stylus button while clicking on the screen, it registers only as a standard left click.  In fact, I find no way to even check the barrel-button works.  I use it correctly?

    The stylus now seems (slightly) works correctly.  I don't know if it was the update of the firmware, or that I just realized it's very, very slow to respond.  If I deliberately pen tip firmly against the screen for a few seconds, the stylus (pen Executive HP) wakes up.  It seems to go to sleep again after a very short time.  Now if I do that first and then press and hold the barrel again before pressing the screen once more, it records the right-click correctly.

    I have to say it's the slower pen, that I never used.  I've owned two tablet PC (a Lenovo and HP one) I used frequently to annotate pdf documents. This pen is so slow that it is impossible to write with it, even if I try to write very slowly.  Unfortunately, I see now that there are a lot of other similar complaints, so it doesn't seem to be an issue with my pen Executive Elitepad/HP.

  • Great background Image / Sticky footer [has two questions]

    1 - How do have such a file on background?

    http://www.Teletoon.com/teletoon3/Teletoon.PHP?language=en

    The page still load fast despite the apparently huge file as a backdrop. What is the technique, I need to do the same today.

    2 - How do we cover the footer div always appear at the bottom of page?

    Thank you very much

    These are two good questions.

    Here are some tips on how to add a great background to your site:

    http://www.WebDesignerWall.com/tutorials/how-to-CSS-large-background/

    I don't know there are other tutorials that you will find with a Google search.

    Also, many web sites on the web site csszengarden.com use broad horizons. CSS Zen Garden invites you to download the markup html and css to sample from these websites to see how they did it.

    It is important to write the HTML clean and avoid ID selectors and class unnecessary css. Do not use css to structure your document; Use it only for the presentation and layout. In my view, it is preferable to manually write your css. If you do not use Dreamweaver to apply CSS, check if your code often to ensure she remains lean. People these days are going wild with ap Divs, who will be dead to your page if you want to use a great background. Write lean markup!

    About the footer... the footer on the example site you provided is nothing special. It's just the last div on the page. It remains at the bottom because the height of the page content exceeds the height of the browser window.

    However, if you do not have enough content on your page to push the foot down, you need a new strategy.

    Footers can be really frustrating when it comes to testing in other browsers. The trick is to force thepart of at least the same height as the browser window, even when there is little content.

    Let's start with the footer:

    #footer {}
        position: absolute;
    bottom: 0;

    Width: 100%;
    border-top: 1px solid blue;
    background: Blue;
    }

    For the footer, you must use absolute positioning. But, and this is where people go wrong, you must also make sure that the footer is placed at the bottom of the document, not the background of the browser.

    The document must be at least as large as the browser window. So the first thing we need to do is to place the footer in a

    with its absolute value property position to:

    {#wrapper}
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    left: 0;
    }

    The footer stick to the bottom of the wrapper.

    .

    Second, you must define the measures of percentage for the document:

    HTML, body {#contents}
    min-height: 100%;
    Width: 100%;
    height: 100%;
    }

    HTML > body, html > body {#contents}
    height: auto;
    }

    {#wrapper}
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    left: 0;
    }

    Thus, the tag in your html doc will be something like:

    the body content

    It works for me in all browsers. I have to give credit when it is earned, the technique above is just off Rachel Andrewbook, The Anthology of CSS.
