  Scanned a lot of magazines colored to put on the web, whenever Adobe highlights a new update, I hope that the OCR engine will read my text on colored backgrounds. Other OCR engines of the likes of Abbyy have no problem with that. Can someone enlighten me whether the most recent version will be OCR those documents. I currently use version X & while I like Acrobat, I don't update until this issue is sorted - a big thank you Julian

  It will be good if test you yourself with your PDF file to check the result.

  OCR technology is much more developed in Acrobat ms compared to Acrobat X.

  You can install the trial version on another system Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat Pro DC & test it.

  Something strange happens in InDesign CS3. Hope someone can help me.

  When I apply an effect such as drop shadow to an object the colors of all other objects on the page change. When I say change I mean almost like the profile (for example, RGB to CMYK) conversion. The colors change all objects on the page but does not affect objects on other pages of the same document. Applying an effect such as shade or gradient change the profiles of other objects color?

  Very confusing. Is this a bug or I do something wrong?

  I'm on a Powermac G5 Tiger running. My color settings are ProPhoto RGB (bridge of thought) and slept Fogra 39 for CMYK.

  I am trying to set up my folio, but met with a frustrating problem.

  As the file is a PDF, it's obviously RGB (sRGB to be precise). All my samples have values RGB, all my links have integrated Adobe RGB (1998) or sRGB profiles.

  The main problem, it is a link on a page (PNG - 24 format) shows the correct colors, while on another, it seems to be more blue in the shadow tones. I found that what initially is one of my other objects with active blend modes:

  Two different rectangles with color chart RGB multiply, 62% transparency

  Two identical JPG textures. A background layer and one a top layer which is the value Color Burn

  Once all of these are deleted, the service object returns to its correct tones, but if even one of the items above returns anywhere in the broadcast, the color turns off again. Similarly, if one of these objects are taken to another page, other nuances used (say a solid rectangle) are performed.

  It drives me crazy and I have tried everything I know. Any ideas? I have the feeling that this may have something to do with blending modes, but I do not understand why he would.

  Your blenidng methods are a form of transparency, and looks that you mix together in CMYK sapce.

  What you want to replicate from El Capitan in Yosemite?

  Question 1 is a simple transfer of a single file.

  1. From the Finder, press shift + cmd + G keys to go to the folder. Copy and paste the following in this dialog box:
     ~/Library/colors

     1. On Yosemite, quit Word, Pages and other applications that use the Apple color chart

     4. Copy the color swatch file El Capitan in Yosemite file location

  Nothing has been deleted. Perhaps if you explain better what it is you are looking for, a person might be able to help. You mean maybe predictive text? All these settings are in settings > general > keyboard.

  I'm curious, what exactly is your problem?

  The system requirements for PSE14 and ss14 requires Quick Time 7 on Win or Mac.

  I just checked that I had not installed on my PSE14 on 10 to win Quick Time 7. No problem, but I rarely videos, and I have other viewing software like VLC media player.

  Just out of curiosity, I installed Quick Time 7 without problem.

  Wouldn't be a problem with Premiere Elements or Mac?

  Hi Donnas,.

  Content-aware fill is your best friend in this case.

  Just make a selection around the word and go to edit-> Fill-> Content-Aware.

  This usually done a very good job.

  Then you can either return to it several times (maybe in smaller sections) with Content-Aware fill to clean it, or you can play with the Spot Healing Brush tool (J) or the tool clone stamp (s).

By dragging it in the layers panel, the object is placed on top. Tried ctrl_x, then ctrl-f, but the rest of the object from all other objects. But in its place on the top panel layer?

  I usually use the 'personalization' feature to select the themes, but he 1) is not seen when I select a theme and 2) wallpaper is a solid color when I save the theme.   Have created a widget issue using the Widget Factory library, I run into a problem when I add other objects to the question slide that they always display in front of the widget, when I want the widget to display in front. I can get around by merging objects with the background, but this obviously make no editable objects.
