    Hello

I have a problem with my Acer Aspire VN7-791.

I reinstalled Windows 8.1 and I have some problems with the wireless card.

I first tried to install the drivers I found on the Web site, and none of them could do work (the system still did not recognize the wifi card)

Then I tried to install the driver from the official site and with this one:

    http://www.killernetworking.com/support/driver-downloads/standard-drivers

The system has detected the wifi card and now I can see the SSID of the network around me.

But when I tried to connect to my network, I couln t, I have one "can" do not connect to the network. Windows.

I have a dual boot Linux and it works fine, I see the networks around me and I can connect to mine.

My wireless card is a "Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Wireless Network Adapter".

However, I can still use the functionality of network hosted the wifi card, if this information could help.

Also, for some reason, I can't use the Acer care center, he said that my PC is not supported.

Thanks in advance for your help and sorry for my bad English.

Go to control panel, programs and features and uninstall the wifi. Make sure that there is no other wifi of the installed drivers. Restart and install the latest driver for wifi Acer.

As a last resort, book your personal date and do a cover of the plant.

  • Acer Aspire VN7 - 591G trackpad not recognized

    Hello

I am the owner of a laptop Acer Aspire VN7 - 591G Black Edition.  Today, at the start, my trackpad is more responded to my touch or clicks.  First of all, I pressed Fn + F7 to see if I had just accidentally turned off, but it wasn't the case.  I plugged an external mouse on the USB port to my laptop to navigate and once in the Device Manager, found that my trackpad is not listed under mice and other pointing devices.

In addition, under mouse properties, my trackpad does not appear.  Mouse compatible HID is the external mouse I currently use.

I'm not sure how to solve this problem.  If anyone has any ideas that could help, it would be greatly appreciated

In addition, I guess I should mention that I'm running Windows 10 months and not had any problems until today.

  • Adding an SSD for Acer Aspire VN7 - 591G - 70RT (need help)

    Hello

I have an addition an Acer Aspire VN7-591 G-70RT with a slow 5400 RPM 1 TB WD Blue that creates a bottleneck in my laptop.

I checked on Crucial to see if there are compatible SSD for my laptop which recommended:

MX200 crucial m2 Type 2280 (Single Sided) 250 GB internal SSD

I was wondering, do anyone know if this information is correct? I was having mixed information online, 250 GB wouldn't cut my storage needs, if I could only get a 2.5 SSD "so my intention is to have an SSD 250 installed and my 1 TB HARD drive.

Also, if the SSD was not the main drive would I still see the benefits of installing games who him? As in would be the existing WD blue always be causing a bottleneck?

Any help with this would be appreciated!

I have the device works now, I installed the MX200 Crucial m2 250G without any problem. Here's how.

    WEAR AN ANTI STATIC BAND:

Step 1) remove all the screws on the underside of the laptop

Step 2) use spudger or credit GENTLY lift a gap between the keyboard and the base, then use the credit card to slide slowly into the space to jump open clips, NOT FORCE.

Step 3) (OPTIONAL) remove the keyboard connectors by moving clip and gently remove the cable from the Jack. However the HARD drive slipped in for me without necessary to detach.

Step 4) unplug original WD HDD blue reversing the clip and disconnect the cable

Step 5) close laptop together and boot with Windows 10 USB install

Step 6) install windows on new SSD (for me windows automatically activated via the BIOS/UEFI) if it doesn't happen for you, simply re-attatch the original HARD disk.

Step 7) if the activation is successful, again set HARD drive and original format. I have kept all the original ACER RECOVERY and Partitions (Healthy) in case I need to restore factory default, but formatted primary partition.

  • Hi, install SSD on Acer Aspire VN7 - 591 G-70RT and setting for the primary boot device?

    Hello

I have an Acer Aspire VN7 - 591 G-70RT that came with a Western Digital blue 5400 RPM HARD drive which is limitation of my performance of laptops. I contacted Acer recently to ask for upgrades that might be made and they confirmed that I could build an SSD 256 GB and up to 16 GB of ram.

I bought an SSD now and install, but I wanted to ask how I could continue on the definition of the SSD as my main drive.

At this point, I guess I could install the SSD, then select it as primary boot device in the BIOS by pressing F2, and then install windows 10 via my USB. If this should be good to reboot or the existence of windows on my current HARD drive causes a conflict?

    Thank you

I have the device works now and here's what I did.

  • Problems with Acer Aspire VN7 - 591G. Not enough memory to update to windows 10

Hi, I have trouble upgrading to Windows 10. End of 2015 Aspire VN7 591G.

My C drive seems to be complete, but I only have Windows 8.1 saved in this folder. Try to upgrade to Windows 10 hours (connection terrible broadband) before finally quitting and the message "not enough space on the destination drive. I am totally confused and frustrated - C drive has only 8.33 GB free of 44.7 GB. I have just installed Windows 8.1, I deleted all the bloatware and other programs/applications irrational yet it seems fair to decrease on a daily basis. I already had to do a clean install, as drive C became complete.

All the solutions in terms of 'dummy' simple? Thank you

First of all, do not forget to create recovery media, then you can always go back to stock windows OS installation.

    http://Acer--UK.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/26286/~/create-a-Acer-factory-default-backup-in...

Since you have a slow connection, I suggest that allows you to create a bootable media using download from microsoft also, so you don't need to download windows 10 update each time.

    read here:

    http://community.Acer.com/T5/knowledge-base/Windows-10-installation-recovery-media-creation-and-use/...

a 8 GB USB flash drive is necessary

I suggest you do a cleaning of the HARD drive too, probably, you have files of windows upgrade spare failed 10:

    Windows logo key
    type
    Disk Cleanup
    Click Disk Cleanup
Click on clean up system files
    Let scanner
then check the files you want to delete, it is safe to do so
in the end, press ok and let it wipe the HARD drive for you

After disk cleanup, check to see if the 10 windows temporary folders are still there:

  • Problem of Touchpad on Acer Aspire VN7 - 591 G Ultrabook

I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice.

I have a problem to find a driver for the touchpad on my Acer Aspire V Nitro Black Edition (VN - 591G) with Windows 8.1.

The touchpad itself works fine, but it has only to type the feature, I want to activate actions such as vertical and horizontal scrolling. I already tried to install the Synaptics pointing device or the driver of the momentum and although the installation was successful, I don't see all the settings in my configuration of the mouse.

It could be a solution (google) to install the Intel Chipset driver, then pilot of e/s Intel. I've updated one, and before installing Intel i/o, I need to configure advanced BIOS settings, but it is not "Advanced tab" in my BIOS. Looks like I'm in the trap.

I would be grateful if someone could suggest other solutions to enable gestures.

You know that you must use two fingers to scroll?

Problems with the touchpad VN7 - 591 G are a 8.1 engine that doesn't work great and sometimes a bad touchpad.

You may need to get a USB or wireless mouse until the pilot gets sorted.

  • Acer Aspire VN7 - 791G audio distortion

bought my nitro v7 to business world pc 2 weeks Friday last and everything was fine until a few days ago, when I noticed the audio from the right speaker has begun to distort and more with audio bass... Anyway I got it yesterday in the world pc kettering and told them about this and I said I want a replacement and that they I passed and said that I bought world business pc that I would be able to talk to them today, in any case, I left the laptop with them yesterday and stressed that the message arrives at anyone in the pc world desk business I want a replacement in respect of the sale of goods Act... I phoned the company from pc world today and spoke to the person who sold me and he said it is more than 14 days old and I can only having repaired, and I pointed out that on the PC World site Business he has 14 days is for returns and 21 days for vulnerabilities and reimbursement. This kosher man I think that his name is so said that he did not work for a long time and that really made me nervous. He says that I willget to you... I got a call from pc world of kettering and they said its going to sheffield to be looked at and if no fault, then I have to pay there that im confident and if there is a fault, they will fix it or THEY MAY decide to trade him and the guy says that it is now out of our hands... So what happened to the rights of the clients of a REPLACED... • No more wifi on my pc: Acer Aspire VN7 - 591 G-77FH

I can't find a Wi fi on my pc. I see a symbol of a small pc with a cable (I think it is symbol of ethernet connection) in the lower right corner of the office, where I used to see waves:

It was not a problem until yesterday because I used to connect to my pc via ethernet during the week, the address IP Thresholds. Yesterday my pc had one or two blue screens while I was working on a virtual machine on Linux (VirtualBox) and this morning my pc has observed several blue screens when turned on.

The above screen shows: "the computer ha has encountered a problem and must be restarted. Information collection is underway. In the end, the computer will be restarted automatically
"To collect more information, search for this error online code: 0x000001d3.

This morning, the above blue screen appeared several times, and so the pc rebooted several times. When I was finally able to turn it on, I have observed this problem of network. By clicking on the symbol of the pc in the first picture, I see the following:

    No more wifi!

I think it's a problem with my network wifi card. That's what I saw in "device management":

Then I clicked on Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller and clicked on "Scan for hardware changes ' waves appeared as if by magic again at the bottom right of your desktop and I was valid to connect my pc to the wi fi network.

So I went to work and there still as blue screen... and now I'm not able to solve the problem... maybe network card WiFi is definitely dead... Yet once, I tried to click on "Scan for hardware changes" in "device management" with no result...

He must go to acer.it, search for your correct driver (which is Wireless LAN Driver (NFA344)), install it and restart your pc. As you have installed w10 instead of remaining with default w8.1 system, you may be crushed your drivers.

The point is that you see not devices in "device management" before installing the correct driver... This is really weird

  • Aspire V Nitro VN7 - 791-G

Keyboard Acer Aspire VN7 - 791 G - 71P 5 is unable to send at the same time and when I hold the three keys within the group. Only the first two hits of the group in the order I press will be sent: for example, if I press on in the keys in the order left, top, Z, left only and will be sent to the top. It is an unusual limitation because I can't think of another keyboard with this problem. What is a material common to the Aspire V Nitro family (which I assume) or something that I can fix it?

Interestingly, I do not experience this problem with and .

I contacted Acer help cat once, and, I was chatting with that stated that this question was beyond their reach, and I need to contact Answersde (https://answersby.com/), which I did not yet.

After further research, it appears that it is a limitation of the keyboard itself.

  • Loud buzzing noise VN7 - 791-G [+ audio clip]

For the last two weeks that I had trouble with a very loud hum staticky coming from the lower left corner of my Aspire VN7 - 791 G (left of the Tablet under the keyboard) when the machine is under load (working in game engines and play games, mainly). I've had this laptop for a little over a year and never had this problem before. Side software, everything seems fine, I have not noticed any FPS fall or freezes / crashes or something of the sort. I get an occasional blue screen, but those who are very rare after all drivers and updates to BIOS (power of State failure or something like that).

The hum seems louder depending on the workload. If I close all active programs, the noise tends to remain constant for couple minutes, then he calms down gradually until it is completely silent.

I tried to record the sound, and when I listen to the helmet that looks a lot like the real thing (but not too strong): http://vocaroo.com/i/s1cZvjzHgHs5.

Also: I have not tried to replicate this again, but earlier I was running a game on the battery from the battery by accident. The machine has been completely silent. After awhile, I got a message saying battery was weak, so I plugged in the charger and... instantly, heard the buzz with a maximum volume (not a gradual increase as usual). Could it have something to do with the power save settings perhaps? Or more likely as a material thing?

    Thank you

    So, I have good news...

In a last effort attempt, I decided to open my laptop and remove the front left speaker, because I was almost certain that it is the noise. I unplugged the mobo, unscrewed it and removed from the chassis. I tried all day and I can confirm that the hum is GONE now!

It's kinda something hacky that I have now only 3 speakers instead of 4, but I'm just happy that I am able to reuse this thing in the workplace. CE marking as resolved.

  • Cannot enter BIOS or Option of Boot to display on my desktop Acer Aspire M3450

For the last few days I tried to access in the BIOS or The Boot Options screen by pressing the keys with " DEL " for BIOS and ' F12 ' to The Boot Options screen. Same pressing down both keys on my keyboard and switch to normal startup with Windows 10 logo screen and then type password. I'm sure you know that this office is not supported for parameters of the UEFI. I tried with Settings\Update and Security-Advanced Options- then have 6 names on the double column , but I'm not sure that one to take to solve the problem. Here are the 6 names below:

    System restore

    System Image recovery

    Startup Repair

    Command prompt

    Startup parameters

Go back to the previous version

Everything what I wan tis to solve two things by pressing the ekys for BIOS and the Boot Options screen. That's all that I need it. Or I need to reinstall the entire disk operating system Microsoft Windows 10 Home Premium 64?   Either way, my computer's desktop Acer Aspire M3450 game.

    Thank you

    John

It's a good thing I do not get out the my desktop's CMOS battery. Someone I know told me I 'Try to change the keyboard' Guess - it works now. The USB keyboard that I just bought does not work so I went back to the wireless keyboard that I used all the time. So now my problem is solved.

Can I ask a question - why doesn't the USB keyboard support to accept that I press the key after the reboot for BIOS or Boot Display Options? Hope that someone here in this forum will answer for that.

    Thank you

    John
