Questions of "Rebellion" Y570 mouse and keyboard

Hey, I havee this laptop for about 2 months. In the first week, I was playing crysis 2 and sometimes the weapon was taken at random. I thought it was the game, but then it happened in this dead space.

Now it is getting worse. When I use the mouse/keyboard, I get random clicks/right click/letters/back backwards, space and all that. What is going on? I don't have a virus or smth like that

Problem solved. ESET Smart Security 5 was the problem. Don't know and don't care how, but I'm glad I thought to it.

  • USB mouse and keyboard stop working after I have install Windows Update KB2913431

After installation automatic Windows Update KB2913431 (Win 7 Enterprise), the computer seems to work very well, but my mouse and keyboard stop working.  The option of automatic repair after that start with F8 does not work.  He said that the error is "unspecified".

The fool is that it has created a constellation of intermittent problems when I try other options to get these devices to function after the update.  The questions I will of unpowered USB ports, grateful Windows and install the drivers for USB devices, but then do not recognize their (and are not), random BSOD, restore points invalid system, random boot failure, which causes discs to randomly stop working properly, closed randomly , à... I think you get the idea.

I think it must be a driver problem.  I passed through the Device Manager and uninstall all hidden devices.  I have updated the drivers for everything that has an update available.  I tried to disable all, but Microsoft services at startup and in the list of "services".  I've always been unsuccessful; However, when I can get it to successfully restore to a point before the update (none of the automatic restore points work correctly) it seems ok.  It will sometimes seem to work after I applied the update, but then go haywire shortly after.  I am convinced that it is not a hardware problem, given that the prior update restores (when they actually cross without failure) work very well.

I went through countless articles in the knowledge base and tried all the suggestions I've seen, other than registry cleaners because I had a bad experience with this earlier.  I tried so many things that I lost count and the memory of some of them.

I reached point is never install the update (an option that I prefer not to use) or creating a clean Windows install on another drive (an option that I prefer not to use, but I'm a little more friendly to).  I already started to back up files to prepare a clean install, but I reach out one last time before I pull the trigger.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions you have!

  • Can't install/uninstall Microsoft mouse and keyboard Center!

Hi, I got problem with the Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Centre because he doesn't identify my touch mouse correctly (classified as a HID-compliant device and not by its name as my Sidewinder X 4 keyboard). I uninstalled from Add/Remove Programs, and I also uninstalled the drivers for my mouse AND my keyboard (because it showed a double receiver device in device manager). I restarted my computer, but when I tried to install the drivers again in the process of installing mouse and keyboard I got an error message telling me that it was already installed. I uninstalled it again (the "ghost" of it is still listed in Add/Remove Programs) and restarted. When I tried to reinstall, I got the message again who told me that it was already installed. This is when strange things began to happen. The program was once again listed in Add/Remove Programs (this time with its icon and not only a "ghost"). I tried uninstalling and received a message telling me that the uninstall process could not be met because some the original installation files have been corrupted or missing. But now, the program has been listed in the Windows Start menu and when I double click it it started an installation process ceased to immediately resume a message that mkc.msi was missing from a temporary file to My Documents, and he could not proceed, so now I can't install or uninstall the cursed thing. I tried to restore my computer but it doesn't solve all problems. I suspect that some registry entries are not deleted properly when the first uninstall process. I don't want to mess with the registry by myself, at least not until I know what registry entries are created by and in connection with the program. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Orwell,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

You have a Windows 7 installation disc?

As you cannot start your computer at all, I suggest to run a Startup Repair to repair the damaged boot system files and try to boot into normal mode. See the section: How to use Startup Repair in the following link.

    Startup Repair: frequently asked questions

If this does not help, try to boot from a disc to install Windows 7 on the Windows recovery environment mode and then try to run the Startup Repair tool and check if you are able to start normally with mouse and keyboard.

  • Mouse and keyboard stop working

I have windows 7 64 bit edition Home premium.  Intel I5 6 GB of Ram chip. Had this system for 3 years and no problem.  Today, when I myself post on someones facebook page all of a sudden my keyboard stopped entered the words I typed. did not work.   The mouse was working. I rebooted and it worked for a few minutes.  Then he stopped again.  I plugged in the keyboard to a different usb port and it started working, but then the mouse has frozen completely.  I put the mouse on a USB of Hung and it works for now.   My anti virus is so far - I even ran the Norton Patrick gum aggressively looking for problems and he came back with no risk not found.   Is there any type of virus which would attack the keyboard and mouse?  Did someone had experience with in the past?  I have not downloaded new software in a year so nothing new has been added unless there is an automatic update of windows.  Just checked and the last updated 2/15, a few weeks ago and today is the first time with the problem.

    Hi Carl,

    1. What is the brand and model of the mouse/keyboard/computer?

    2. do you get an error related to the question message/code?

This problem might be caused by the virus, but this usually occurs due to drivers of bad/corrupt keyboard/mouse/USB host controller.

I suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps for the mouse and keyboard from the Microsoft KB article and check if it solves the problem.

  • Mouse behaves badly after the update MS Mouse and keyboard Center

I use a model wireless MS Mouse 4000 and MS Mouse and keyboard Center 2.1.177.0 worm installed.  Since this update the scrolling behavior does not work correctly.  In a particular program (a simulation game), scrolling works much too fast.  If I go into the centre of keyboard and mouse and adjust the scrolling speed, it works well.  But when I restart the previous settings seem to be lost, so I have to put once again.  I use Win 7-64 bit.  The mouse worked fine before the 2.1.177.0 version.  Any suggestions?  TIA

PS I vaguely recall a default update but can find no trace of that.  Running MS Mouse and keyboard Center seems normal.  There is no obvious command 'save settings', so I guess it does it automatically.

    Hello

I have replace my SSD HARD drive (2 hard drives 120 GB each RAID 0) w / Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. After the replacement windows take longer time to activate the mouse and the keyboard - 5/10 seconds.

  • Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center recognizes not Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 says no device detected

My Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 works fine but when I click on it in the devices section and printers on Panel, Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center does not recognize. It displays the text "No Device detected". Here is a screenshot of what I see:

    Hi faignard,

Thanks for the reply. It is regrettable that uninstall the existing mouse device manager drivers did not help to solve the problem.

I suggest that you go to the program and features under programs installed and check if there are any associated with IntelliPoint software or any software application related to the mouse installed. In the affirmative, please go ahead and uninstall them and then try to install the driver software IntelliPoint 8.2 in compatibility mode as stated in my previous post dated 22 December 2014. • Sculpt the Touch Mouse: mouse and keyboard not fully functional Center

I bought and installed a Microsoft Sculpt Touch mouse. The Strip in the center of the mouse has three buttons by default assigned to the previous Page, click Middle and Page Down. I installed the mouse and the keyboard Center (v 2.3.188.0) to reassign these buttons but it allows to assign the button in the middle of the band. How can I redirect the other two buttons?

Documentation for the mouse and the keyboard and mouse Center also says that I can assign macros to keys, but the mouse and keyboard Centre does not appear to include these options. How can I assign macros to my mouse keys?

    Thank you
    Tony.

  • Mouse and keyboard using derivation

I bought a diversion so that I can use my keyboard and the mouse in another room. I use a PC Compaq Presario SR2038X Media Edition. My question is which PS/2 port on the back of my desktop PC I plug, mouse or keyboard? My PC supports this separator with 1 cable to carry both mouse and keyboard, if not what can I do?

    Thank you

Wall-e, as far as I know, the separator should work.  Try plugging in the keyboard first, port if this does not work, change it around.  When connected properly, it may report the keyboard on the wrong port, or vice versa.
