Quick drop-down list doesn't show more :( LV2009f2

My quick-drop list does more when I press ctrl-space.  When initially, I press ctrl-space (after the loading of LabVIEW) my machine behaves as it is responsible for the drop-down list (LabVIEW gal and my hard drive of thrashes for a minute), but no drop-down list.  My computer is a bit slow and obsolete (the long time loading initial from the drop-down list hense) so perhaps that's the issue.  I'm running a 1.6 GHz Centrino w / 1.5 GB of ram and Windows XP SP3.

I tried to restart.  I was using the drop-down list a little before it stopped working.  I would avoid a complete reinstall of LabVIEW on it.

Any advice?

Thank you!

Just grasp at straws but...

In the VG. INI file there is a line

"QuickDropPosition ="

This apperas to save where the window QD waas when last used. Maybe yours is defined for a position out of the screen.

    Hello... Toony

    In the fast dashboard, you have the option to select for example to show SQL,.

    you write SQL or SQL advanced logic: select cast ("timestampCOLUMN" as the date) of "PresentationLayerName"
    This is a simple way without changing anything beside SPR...
    And if you want that the timestamp column somewhere in some reports you can directly use this column.
    If you don't want you must typecast as the DATE.

  • Quick drop-down list does not update during the search

    My Quick Drop started acting today.  Normally, when I start typing, the list under the search box updates to show all possible matches.  This is not is no longer the case.  He always tries to autocomplete the search field, but the list is not updated.  [attached screenshot]

    I'm under LabVIEW 2009 SP1 on Windows XP 32-bit.

    For what it's worth, LabVIEW crashed went on vacation early evening Wednesday last, just before I was preparing to leave for the weekend.  When I went back to work this morning, Quick Drop work properly.  I don't know if these two events are linked, but I thought it was a possibility.

    I tried to restart my PC and rename the file LabVIEW.ini and LabVIEW restarting with a new configuration, but not luck.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    It seems that I solved the problem.

    Yesterday, I noticed that the Quick Drop worked when I took my laptop to my cubicle to a job in another location.  When I started my laptop in my closet this morning, however, the problems are back.  Apparently, the problem was related to the use of the docking station for my laptop.  Something in the configuration to the hardware profile 'anchored' have been corrupted, causing the problem Quick Drop, among other buggy problems (for example, do not allow me to click and drag the mouse to highlight text).  I unplugged the laptop from the docking station, and suddenly everything worked very well.  Once I reconnected it the laptop to the docking station, it was apparently crushing the hardware profile "anchored" corrupt, because the next time I start the computer when you are connected to the docking station, everything has worked.

    Problem solved!

    Throughout this forum, we explain that you should stay away from the absolute and relative position elements. Yet once I would say STAY AWAY FROM ABSOLUTE AND RELATIVE ELEMENTS PACKING.

    To illustrate this, remove id = "floatdiv" in the menu container and you'll see that the menu works. OK, the menu do not seek as you wish, but this can easily be corrected with appropriate CSS.

  • How can I change the content of the drop-down list window which shows after JUST click the button START

    The window appears after using the right click on the mouse. Before I had a Tech. remove a Trojan visuses the window showed just find, Explorer, Delete, now it showes such articles that take control, Google, download of virus total.etc.  So, how can I get rid of items that I don't want?

    The menu that appears when you right-click is called the "context menu", and various third-party applications can install entries here.  You have several choices regarding the removal of these entries:

    1. If you can determine what application is involved, you can see if the application has a configuration or menu options enabling to customize what appears in the context menu.

    2. If you can determine what application is involved and that you no longer want or need this app, you can uninstall it.  Praseetha K is close, but no cigar gets.  Virus Total is an online service that checks uploaded for viruses, files.  Virus Total also offers a "upload" allowing you to download suspicious files by right-clicking (see http://www.virustotal.com/advanced.html).  You can decide if you want. If this is not the case, simply uninstall it.

    3. If you are unable to determine what application is involved, or you want to keep the application but it does not offer a configuration without the context menu item, download ShellExView and you will probably be able to go to the bottom of things pretty quickly.

  • My Firefox drop-down list no longer shows when I connect Internet. How can I get that back so I can clear my history?

    When I downloaded Firefox, there is a green button for Firefox on the top left corner of my screen. He's gone, so I can't do things like clear my history. How can I get that back? I don't know when he disappeared. My computer is only a month and I have finally cleared my story about 2 weeks ago.

    Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Ctrl + Shift + F).

    If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse upward to make the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.

    You can click the maximize button in the upper right to leave the mode full screen or empty space of a right-click on a toolbar and use "exit full screen" or press F11.

  • Hide/show several subforms based on drop-down list selection

    Hi - I'm wanting to use a selection from a drop-down list for hide/show 17 subforms which contain only text. I tried if/else instructions that I used in the same way before but I have problems of implementation of that time. Is there a better way to do when several subforms are required to show/hide. Thank you.

    What event trigger you the action on? I have the following to the Exit event and it works.

    If (this.rawValue == "Hide") {}

    subForm1.presence = "hidden".

    }

    on the other

    If (this.rawValue == "Post") {}

    subForm1.presence = "visible".

    }

    If however you have the button 'Specify Item values' clicked on the link tab, you need to change the "Hide" values for their specified either value "1".

    You have changed the code to:

    If (this.rawValue == "2") {}

    subForm1.presence = "hidden".

    }

    on the other

    If (this.rawValue == "1") {}

    subForm1.presence = "visible".

  • Quick question on the dashboard (limiting values in the drop-down list)?

    Hi friends,
    In my report, I have "days to start" column that lists the almost 10,000 values range from-1000 to 5000.
    I need to create a prompt for this report on the column "days to Start.

    When I create a prompt on days of starting with the operator "superior to" and "Drop Down List" control it shows me all the values in drop down.
    I need only specific values such as 30, 60, 90, 180, which might not be in the "start day" column.

    If I select "SQL result", which should be the SQL for this?

    Y at - it another way to solve this problem

    Appreciate your help on this
    Thank you

    You could make a table of VALUES with 1 column and fill it with values such as 30,60, 90... then in sql, you would write SELECT *... that simple VALUES
    (of course, it must be in DR., and you would need to expose it in the presentation layer)

    Published by: wildmight on February 19, 2009 08:18

    Also, you can try this: it works for me - but it might be slower and you can understand how to get around - also, it must be a number or the cast in digital format

    SELECT the Table. "Column" / 30 saw_0 OF the 'Subj area' ORDER BY saw_0 "

  • Width of drop-down list and the number of drop-down list values

    How to increase / decrease the width of a drop-down list on the screen of your interview? In addition, how you increase the number of menu options drop-down user, some of my options in drop-down list don't show up. This shows only 3 points:...

    For OPM 10.4:

    Increase the number of visible items in a drop-down list

    There are two options:

    1. make a regular drop-down list instead of a list of drop-down list box. Regular drop-down lists always display all items, regardless of the length of the list. To do this, set "enable-search-comboboxes = false" in the appearance.properties file. "

    2. increase in the search results max for the combo box in the file appearance.properties, for example 'search max-results = 20' (or another number as appropriate)

    See article OPM the User Guide for more details: http://docs.oracle.com/html/E54499_01/toc.htm#Interviews%20and%20flows/Customize_Web_Determinations.htm#Change4

    I have a vague memory that the increase in the width of the drop-down lists is a bit more tedious. I'll take a look and post here...

    Thank you!

    Heather

    Hi Heather,

    For OPA 10.4:

    1. open the appearance.properties file in NotePad ++ or any other text editor (.. \(Your-Project)\Release\web-determinations\WEB-INF\classes\configuration\appearance.) Properties)

    2 find this section:

    # Global switch to enable or disable the search comboboxes

    Enable-search-comboboxes = true

    Search Max-results = 10

    3. do one of the following:

    -Change: enable-search-comboboxes = false

    OR

    -Change: max-search results = (a larger number, for example the number of items in the longer list)

    Note that regardless of the changes made in step 3 will apply to all drop-down lists in the project.

  • Help with Hidden Drop Down lists in the subforms RBList

    I've created a form that contains 3 remote option button lists, each with hidden subforms that are unique in each button.

    Two of my RBLists and subforms work perfectly, showing the hidden options drop down and other fields as they should when a button is selected.

    However, RBList3 has the lists dropdown as user input fields only. Each subform hidden in RBList3 contains a menu drop down and a text box for instructions.

    I used the same javascript to hide/show the hidden fields when buttons are selected. All the settings seem to be upward. Here is a sample of my code:

    If (RBList3.F.rawValue! = 2)
    {
    This.Presence = 'hidden ';
    newsubform. Presence = "hidden";
    }

    another if (RBList3.F.rawValue == 2)
    {
    This.Presence = "visible";
    newsubform. Presence = "hidden";
    }

    Does anyone have suggestions for how make my Drop-Down lists in RBList3 show that lists functional Drop?

    I have attached the reference form.

    Code not woirk for E, F and G. I check if the user selects G if they do not, then they must chose one of two other options (which means that the rest of the logic is executed). If I understand the question is in the initial state of the EdgeDropDown2 objects.

    PanzDrawTxt, and

    EdgePanelChkBxTxt. If you set the initial value of invisible presence, then you will not need to change any code. You must do this for each object individually. Click on one of the objects and on the object palette click the tab field near the bottom of this tab is a drop-down list to set the initial value of presence. Set it to the invisible. Repeat for the other two objects.

  • Showing and hiding of multiple tables with a drop-down list

    I'm doing a drop-down list so that users can select the number of tables that are shown/generated when they specify the tables how they need to complete (there is 1 table for each day of a multi = day, maximum of 5).

    I thought I would use a similar javascript than I used in another place on the form that has been applied to radio buttons to show or hide a specific table. When I applied that to the drop down and added more than lines that the scipt was ineffective, with some play that I managed to do the work, but now it seems thre is a question with which value is selected in the list. When a user selects a certain value, it shows the previous value (so when I chose 4 days, which has a hairy '3', the message box for the test proposed, I added told me I selected the value '2').

    I wonder if there is an easier way to do the function, what I'm doing, or if the drop down menu is the best solution? The maximum number of tables that can be filled is 5, then the drop down menu appears as a way ideal for resticting than for the person filling out the form.

    This is an example of writing, that I joined the drop-down list, as an action of "change." It is repeated 4 times for each value.

    Form1. Page2.DropDownList1::change - (JavaScript, client)

    If (this.value == '2') {}

    Form1. Page2.TableDay1.presence = "visible";

    Form1. Page2.TableDay2.presence = "visible";

    Form1. Page2.TableDay3.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page3.TableDay4.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page3.TableDay5.presence = 'hidden ';

    }

    else {}

    Form1. Page2.TableDay1.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page2.TableDay2.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page2.TableDay3.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page3.TableDay4.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page3.TableDay5.presence = 'hidden ';

    }

    If (this.value == '3') {}

    Form1. Page2.TableDay1.presence = "visible";

    Form1. Page2.TableDay2.presence = "visible";

    Form1. Page2.TableDay3.presence = "visible";

    Form1. Page3.TableDay4.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page3.TableDay5.presence = 'hidden ';

    }

    else {}

    Form1. Page2.TableDay1.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page2.TableDay2.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page2.TableDay3.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page3.TableDay4.presence = 'hidden ';

    Form1. Page3.TableDay5.presence = 'hidden ';

    }

    I looked at it and tried a few different things and my colleague who is much better than me with sciprting is also at a loss for now - he is unfamiliar with LiveCycle, unless I have so any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot once again as my last number (the script for radio buttons) has been resolved here. Thanks again.

    The question that you see with the value being off is due to the fact that you use the change event. The change event is triggered * before * the new value is assigned to the field. This event is commonly used for intercpet changes. If you wish to continue using the change event, you can get the new value with:

    xfa.event.newText;

    This, however, will get the text that is displayed instead of the value behind. No doubt, you can consult the nodes in the drop-down list to see what value, but I think you should just avoid all of this by adding your code to the layout event: each subform hideable... loan for example, for the first, in the case of TableDay2 layout_ready (as the day1 should never be hidden, as I understand it) put :

    This.Presence = (DropDownList1.rawValue > = 1)? "visible": "hidden";

    TableDay3 would be:

    This.Presence = (DropDownList1.rawValue > = 2)? "visible": "hidden";

    etc.

    Let me know if it helps.

    I have LiveCycle Designer ES4. I often have a long list of list items in my items from the drop-down list. I want to know if there is a quick way to remove all the items in the list (field tab). I have one at the time a click and remove one at a time. Is there a faster way?

    You can use my macro to create dummy texts.

    Just to empty the text field in the Flex dialog box and click OK, to remove all the values in a drop-down list.

    You do not have something wrong. January 2014 Photoshop CC update has added the ability to incorporate link GOLD Smart Objects. Before this update Photoshop CC, smart objects are always embedded in the Photoshop document. Although he made the biggest file size, it was as a backup plan because all placed files have been included in the document. Now you have the ability to embed or link the smart object. Link refers to the file instead of actually copying in your current file. Regarding your little tutorial, choose Embed.
