• iOS 9.3.1 and Pro 9.7 "iPad battery widget disappeared

  Just got my new Pro 9.7 "iPad.  It came with ios 9.3 and I think that the battery widget was present... I remember seeing the battery of the Apple pencil when I place initially.

  I quickly upgraded to 9.3.1 and now see no battery widget.  I have Bluetooth paired device, the pencil of Apple which works fine but no battery widget.  Not sure whether it is a problem of iOS 9.3.1.

  A reboot has solved this problem in my iPad Pro.

  I received the new X 1 carbon. My COMPUTER store must have the image with picture Windows 8 (which I quickly upgraded to 8.1). Now my Fn keyboard is basically useless. I press the Fn button and it does nothing. I press the "configuration" button and it does nothing. I guess that's because I don't have the application adaptive keyboard in Control Panel. • Using media components

  I recently replaced an old computer with a P7-1298cb HP that came with Windows 7 and I quickly upgraded to Windows 8. I also installed upgrading the free press - until mid-January.

  We have a system of entertainment with a WiFi feature (Samsung blueray player integrated wireless more Samsung tv and Denon AV receiver that can work with a wireless adapter module I have). While I can access various shared music and video files, for example, for playback of the blueray player, I feel helpless and am not having much luck with the continuous aspect of Windows 8. If I can media queue in my windows media player and/or units media center software for playback of components of entertainment wireless network located in another room?

• Recommend bridge SCSI and iSCSI

  Hi guys,.

  Currently I have an ADIC FastStor 2 tape auto-chargeur connected to a physical machine, Backup Exec 12.5, which backs up our running VMS with internal agents. Our ESX host running ESX 4.1, running on servers of 4 HP DL380G5.

  We are looking into converting to a more focused VM disk backup over the next 9 months, but we have a short-term obligation to upgrade our current solution quickly so that we can remove the material (it has long been out of support and our backups start to fail). To this, looking at a quick upgrade to BE2010 R2 (since we have already supported) and put us the media server on a virtual machine. Remains to be seen how to connect to the tape library. A SCSI and iSCSI Bridge seems to be the best option to do it quickly and with headache less.

  Someone at - it experience with these devices? Recommendations for an individual? The current tape drive uses a connection of Ultra2 SCSI wide 68 pins.

  .. .After research forums and seeing the difficulty that people have, I wasn't convinced.

  The positions of 'problem' I see the most are those who use cards non - of Adaptec SCSI and / or not parallel SCSI drives.  The most recent posts I've seen are for tape drives, SATA or SAS drives.  Basically trying to use 'new' band players, rather than reuse the 'old' band of readers.

  Quick is the main concern here. The money is available, it cannot simply be a ridiculous amount since it is monstly going to be throwing next year (otherwise I'd just go straight for an iSCSI tape library).

  Then I recommend the SCSI card because it would be cheaper than a bridge.  Or if you have an existing workstation you can re-tasks to host your tape drive for awhile so that get you the rest of your new backup equipment.  Used & refurb workstations can be made for well under $ 500 and often as low as $200 and would be more powerful enough to accommodate a tape drive.  Because you can reuse the workstation after obtaining new equipment, you could get something more than the bare minimum for this project.  Maybe it's a better use of $$$ instead of a bridge iSCSI that you go to "throw".

• I accidentally deleted my CC in Photoshop and can re-download.

  I had a few problems with my Photoshop CC, and after asking a colleague went to be understood, I was the only one with these problems. So I decided to uninstall it and then reinstall. Now, in previous versions of Mac OS, you can uninstall programs by deleting them... apparently this is not the case more? (We went through a quick upgrade with our OS lately - now running the Mavericks) So after you delete all my files Photoshop CC, I tried to install it again, but it wouldn't let... He's me up-to-date in my applications. No download button. He seems to think that I still installed or may not see his party?

• Update Firmware on vSphere MD3000i

  We currently have several without MD3000i which must obtain an updated firmware updated (RAID controller and physical disk firmware) for the latest versions (07352261 for the RAID controller).  Those without are connected to the PowerEdge 2950 runs the last environment vSphere.  I did a little research and from what I understand, the key is really:

  -Back up all your data.

  -Stop the vSphere physical servers.

  -Use the crossgeneration utility provided to upgrade the San.

  Does anyone have any experience or advice related to the MD3000i San upgrade? Advice would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  It depends on if you want to continue your virtual machines to be connected, so plan accordingly, you will have a good upgrade without interruption of service, I've done was 15 x 400 GB MD3000i firmware upgrade to version xx 7. but a cheap shared storage of NFS/iSCSI using OpenFiler to promote and use Storage VMotion to move VMS as intermediate destination.  Once the upgrade complete, migrate their return and delete or recycle your Openfiler or keep it low key development servers.  You can move to a local disk if you want to just for temporary, but can not do any VMotion/HA if.  You can use the demo as network SANmelody or left virtual storage to improve performance and reason for portability.  Otherwise, if you drive to power that run them just a quick upgrade with scheduled downtime should be fine.  Good luck.

• What happened to my show desktop icon in the Quick Start menu when I upgraded to Firefox 4?

  You can create a new shortcut easily enough. Just drag it into the Quick Launch bar on with the right mouse button and then choose "Create shortcut here" from the menu you get.

• After the upgrade to iOS 9.2, I have no service and my battery drains quickly

  I have an iPhone 6. I live in England.

  I have upgraded to iOS 9.2 two days ago and I saw two problems since:

  1. I can not get any mobile service. I see the 'no. Service' at the top left of the home screen when I try to search for the service. A Wi - fi connection still works fine. I turned my phone off and on again, and while it does not find service briefly, it goes quickly back to 'No Service'. I tried to enter the Mobile Carrier settings area and deactivate the options, turn it back on. Nothing has worked.
  2. My battery drains very quickly. It is 14:12 in the afternoon and I currently have 29% of battery. Usually I didn't have come down below 60% when I get home at 5 pm, because I do not use my phone very strongly. The Gmail application took 35 percent of my independence despite spending only 9 minutes on screen. My phone is hotter that it would normally be.

  I have heard that when a mobile phone search service repeatedly, it uses a lot of battery. This phone has been updated with the airplane Mode + Wi - fi since this morning - I did have this service at any time you are looking for today.

  People have recommended reset my settings, but I don't know what this will do to my phone, so I didn't, as whenever someone suggests it, it does not work for the afflicted person.

• Quick start Intel stops working when upgrading RAM

  I have a laptop dv7-7212nr of nine ENVY running 64-bit Windows 8.

  This machine has Intel Rapid Storage Technology that caches the data on the hard drive (I think on the SSD of 32 GB) and active Intel Rapid Start technology that stores memory in the SSD cache (I think) when the computer enters a State of hibernation.

  The first thing I did was upgraded to 8 GB to 16 GB RAM.  It works fine, but then I get an error message "your system does not appear to be with technology intel quick ignition."

  HP provides very little information about it, virtually none.  I suppose memory is cached on the SSD, but I don't know how to check this.  I also noticed that acceleration is not enabled under the Rapid Storage Technology applet for the reader.

  I called tech support twice, but technicians knew nothing of the upgrade of RAM beyond the usual and couldn't do it worked either.

  Does anyone know yet exactly how the SSD is used in my system?  It would be valuable information for me.

  Third times the charm.  The tech 3rd to aware of this problem.  This motherboard has a 8GB cache forIntel fast boot technology.  You can upgrade the RAM to a maximum of 16 GB, but Intel Rapid Start will never work again.  So there you go.  I will return the 16 GB of RAM.  I saved a lot of money, because if I had ordered the machine with 16 GB was an another $300 (RAM on Amazon was $ 80).  But it is not really scalable.

  The SSD that appears in the management of the computer is the motherboard cache.  There is only a single drive on this computer.

  You must have an active service contract on your device to you give right to the upgrade of the software of TC.

  You will not need a new key to unlocking with the version TC6.1 or later (you can pass TC6.2 to TC7.0.2 without requiring a new sense key).  You have no need to "backup and restore" the keys either because they are not affected by an upgrade (although it is always good to have noticed them somewhere just in case).

  If you have the SX20 TC7.0.2 software available in your TMS, you should be able to deploy it to your device without any problem, or to install new software via another method (Web Interface / WinSCP / etc).

  And, Yes, there is no problem of support when you use TMS version 14.3.2 with VCS X7.2 TC7.0.2.
