Your hard drive has failed or is failing fast - die in other words. You can buy a new hard drive to replace it. You can use any retail SATA mobile hard drive. Just be sure to get one with less as great a capacity than the original to use recovery disks to reinstall Windows. It may be bigger but not smaller. For example if you have a > 320 hdd not to buy a 250 GB.

The query fails because it cannot perform arithmetic (+ 1) on a channel not digital. However, the query that successfully interpreted the arithmetic in the first place, that it concatenated the string 'test' to it... Make sense?

Simultaneous program completed with warning

I am trying to generate a XML Publisher report, that i generate the XML code in the file RDF, creation and RTF designed and loaded the XML for this model RTF model

The Editor created the definition of data and model in my xml finally added my program contributing to the application group... I did all this correct to the best of my knowledge

When I submit the request he gets filled with the State of alert and the output pdf file isn't genereted when I checked the log view I do not understand why it causes? Please suggest me what is cause and should I need to do more to process my application

'Aid for this VI' menu item is grayed when VI is built in an executable file

Hello

When I run a VI and select the help topic 'Help for this VI' it opens my help file (MyHelp.chm).

But when I create an executable of this VI the menu item is grayed out!

Is this a normal behavior?

Problem solved.

I did a new project file with my current LV8.6 and the 'Aid for this VI' menu item now works.

The project file I was using was full of LV7.0 and probably causes this problem.

I doubt that in the written code during execution of the prepared call. You will need to check that.

When you create the program, you set the number of parameters it accepts:

Then, you set your arguments to work and set default values. This step is optional - but if you do not then you will need to set the values using the set_job_argument_value:

Can multiple Photosmarts (7510 and C309g) be configured to scan on the same computer?

I have an Acer PC Windows 7 with an AMD Athlon X II processor, 4 GB of RAM.

I have Photosmart C309g and everything-each 7510, both connected via wi - fi, using different IP addresses that are not in conflict with other devices on my network.

I executed the complete installation for both HPs.

I can print either, but I can scan only using the 7510.

When I open the HP scan diagnostic, it does recognize that the 7510 - the c309g is not yet listed.

I noticed only 7510 application record contains a HP scan application and it also recognizes that the 7510.

There is no application scan c309g folder. I tried Win 7 Windows Fax and Scan application but that also recognizes as the 7510.

1. is there a way to configure the system so that it can print and scan from these two Photosmarts?

2. If the scanning using a 7510 and c309g does not work, could I use a 7510 both a 7520?

Welcome to the HP forums! I understand that you are unable to scan a document using the Photosmart Premium C309.

You should have two printers scanning capabilities, because they have a different software. The Photosmart printer using the Solution Center and the Photosmart 7510 uses the Printer Wizard.

I suggest you uninstall/reinstall the software Photosmart Premium C309. Please follow these steps:

Please follow this HP document uninstalling the software of the printer.

Then, perform a clean boot on your computer. I'll give you a Microsoft document on this step here.

Now, install the full features on the site of HP software here. Choose your operating system that is appropriate; 32-bit or 64-bit.

Once installation is complete, please click on the document to Microsoft, and "how to reset the computer to start normally after a clean boot."

How can I stop in case of failure?

We have developed a c# application that manages the execution of a test sequence. Currently, our code opens a test via the call execution:

seqFileViewMgr.GetCommand (CommandKinds.CommandKind_ExecutionEntryPoints_Set, 1). Execute (true);

It detects the completion of a test via the EndExecution event execution and I determine the overall looking at Execution.ResultStatus in my EndExecution event handler callback.

They changed the conditions and I need now to detect the State of each step and (if requested) stops execution of test when a step fails. Can someone enlighten me please know what changes I should do for my design to achieve this step by step of the monitoring?

There are certain features that may interest you.

Break failure - toggleable setting located under the run menu in the sequence editor and can also be set through the API with StationOptions.BreakOnFailure or StationOptions.BreakOnSequenceFailure

Goto Cleanup on the failure sequence - this is a frame at the bottom of the first page of the dialog box options station and may also be defined by the sequence in the sequence Properties dialog box. It can also be set programmatically using Sequence.GotoCleanupOnFailure or StationOptions.AlwaysGotoCleanupOnFailure.

SequenceFilePostStepFailure reminder - this is a sequence of special reminder, that you can create in your sequence files that will be called whenever a step fails. You can add a special code to this reminder to customize what happens when a step fails in different ways.

Read the output values after each step runs in the User Interface of LabVIEW

Development environment: TestStand 2010 SP1 and LabVIEW 2010 SP1

Problem: is there a way to run the following steps programmatically and get values out of each of them?

I have already extended a bit a complete interface IO for TestStand load any sequence, choose among the measures and execute step by step (something as an alternative to the steps run selected). What I'm trying to do is to add some actions between each step and do in the UI (I can't change the sequence!), so I start the NewExecution with some previously configured InteractiveArgsParam and option breakAtFirstStep set to true. Eventually I do just something like step over when debugging the sequence and it works well, but I didn't do well a way yet to read the output values of the place...

So, if I wait before the end of the run I can read my results by treating the ResultObject, but it works only after the completion of the test sequence. Because I wanted to stop after each step, read the values, do some actions and continue to the next step, I've tried to register a running Trace event reminder View Manager. I see that after each step is executed, this event is fired, but when I try to read that a ResultObject returned in the event data it is not filled with values (ResultList seems to be empty?). Is this a correct behavior or maybe I'm reading the wrong way? (It's the same VI regarding the reading of the ResultObjects after the sequence ends and there it works very well for tables, containers and other types of data).

As I mentioned I can't change Test sequences, I can not add a UImessages.

What are my options? If the trace event returns output all the values from each steps or is it just used to check the status? Or maybe there's a completely different approach to this issue?

When you manipulate the UIMessage trace (you need this before the return of the event or you will present the race conditions), download myuimessage. Thread. Then call Thread.GetSequenceContext (0, & Iplease).

And then on the context of the sequence, either go to PreviousStep.Result if it exists, or watch Locals.ResultList.

Trace events occur between the steps executed step the more recently is the previous step, but it is also a trace event to the beginning before any measure have run at this time, there will be a previous step.

Function calls multithreaded suddenly causing blockages

I'm having a problem with function calls from multiple threads. There are two threads that everyone calls a function called save_program, including a DDCChannelHandleGroup and and a certain structure "show pulse" moved. The problem I have is that after that I called him save_program of one of the sons, it crashes when I try to call from the other thread. There are three contexts for this - two in the main thread and the other in the thread of data acquisition.

If I call the save_program of one of the contexts in the main thread, the program crashes when I try to call it in the thread for the acquisition of data and vice versa. No problem since the two contexts in the same thread. I put a breakpoint in the function call and the first part of the executable code in save_program (declaration of variable initialized to NULL), and the program freezes between these two breakpoints. I checked and always executed entirely complete in each of the threads AND the call of CmtExitThreadPoolThread() also runs very well. I also locked up all instances of save_program in CmtGetLock/CmtReleaseLock calls without success. Oddly, these calls used to cause no problems with the exact configuration of multithreading even. I don't know what has changed.

It is very possible that you have already encountered a problem experienced in LabWindows/CVI where transactions must be completed before calling SaveFile. I have included a link below that talks a little more about this problem.

It is a question that has been reported and is managed by R & D. From now on, it is not a fix available but I hope we can find a work around that will work for your application.

Reset the default value at the close of the program

Hi guys,.

I should work on the main piece of my program, I think practical features for the user.

A feature is to have the user entered by default the current value at the close.

For example, in my situation, the user must specify the multiple instruments GPIB address.

After that program has been executed and completed, the default values will be replaced by current address of GPIB

like the GPIB addresses of the equipment will probably not change.

I noticed the function of 'The VISA resource name'->-> use current default value of data operations.

Is there a programmical way to change this?

You cannot change the default values of a VI running. Instead, write the data to a configuration file to the fence. When the program opens, read the config file and set the values for what is in the file.

From my research, I suggest you try the following steps.

Method I - execute a System File Checker tool.

To determine if the problem you are experiencing is caused by one or more system files that are used by Windows Vista, run the System File Checker tool. The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.

2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your

password or click on continue.

3. at the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:

sfc/scannow

Once the completed scan, a test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved
