QuickTime (already installed) not found
I'm on a page (below) that asks me to download the plugin. When I do the Quicktime download page is started, but it is already installed. When I download and repair Quicktime and go back to the page, Quicktime is not always present.
When I go through the Firefox plugin, the message is ' no plug-ins installed, Apple Quicktime not available manual installation "leads me to the Apple download page.
When I try to download from here, Firefox keeps coming up with an error message "to view this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (for example, a search or order confirmation) which was performed early." any Apple page.
Then, I downloaded with Opera and installed Quicktime.
QuickTime is listed in the list of Firefox plugins, but it is not always right when it is called by the page.
This is a TIFF and QuickTime can not display such a file in Firefox.

try to uninstall programs, "Journal of instalation not found".
I would be very gratful if someone could help me... once again please! Yesterday, after the acquisition of the programe of thugs 'CYBERSECURITY' I came here asking if someone could help me to get rid of it, thanks to those who responded, unbelivably, I managed to get rid of it myself with system restore in safe mode (it may work for other people, I answered some telling them to try this) that I never thought would work , but, touch wood, looks ok now Ive cleaned it. I just have a problem now try to uninstall the programs that I got rid of the day, I acquired of cybersecurity. I guess it's because the restore point, I gave him too much. I want to get rid of these again, but every time I try to unistal them, he said: (Ghost Installer) "Not found Setup log" happens then "this program might not be properly uninstalled" it gives the choice 'Uninstall using recommended settings' or 'this program uninstalled corectly' when I click to uninstall using recommended, then goes back to "instalation log not found" again. I don't know that there is a very simple answer to that, unfortunately, I don't know much, just a little more before the program of thugs! would be very gratful for help.
Thank you

Hello
If possible and not malware try to reinstall the program, so you can uninstall them.
For all THE tools here when possible - download - RECORD - go where you put them - click on - RUN AS ADMIN
(do not use RUN AS ADMIN for the program that you just want to load and then uninstall unless it takes and it is
not malware).A great tool to use is Revo

Hello
I just receive my MBA a few weeks ago to Apple and noticed my Razor mouse worked only with BluTooth but not when it is plugged into a usb port. Other mouse usb and external drives readers work well. Razor support told me the plug-and-play subsystem has screwed up, and errors have been associated with Automator.
I have only a local account and I have not linked to the iCloud account.
I don't want to reinstall my laptop because I have 300 GB of data on it, as well as some programs that I installed.
I think that a package is not properly installed or missing, but my OSX knowledge is poor, because I have just started using a Mac!

I am trying to download iTunes 10. He says I have to install it with QuickTime at the same time. I press install and go through all the steps, then he said: "a newer version of QuickTime is already installed. Without QuickTime, iTunes can not be installed. "So I'm going to uninstall QuickTime, but he says exactly the same thing for that, too:"a newer version of QuickTime is already installed. "WHAT I DO!? All I want is the latest version of iTunes so that my iPod touch is compatible on my laptop.

"Network not found" when installing software, but I'm already on the internet!
I have problems installing the software. Downloads fine, connection to the Internet is wonderful, but when I try to install anything, I get these messages - "network not found. Connect to the internet and try installation again. ' or 'no internet connection. "Connect to the internet, and then restart the installation. I have tried everything I know reset IE8, uninstall programs that I tried to install, checked and rechecked my connection (have an excellent connection every time I get this message). I tried to access my Windows Installer Clean Up, but it acts like it's the download then stops. I thought I had installed earlier, but now it seems to need to be installed as well. I don't know what to try. Would it have happened when I uninstalled Microsoft Office?

MSVCR80.dll was not found after installing an update for iTunes
-5February2014 - yesterday I received an automatic update of iTunes (do not write update number) so I accepted the download automated and then with what I was doing on my PC. Later in the process, a message said something about unable to download or install or something, so I cancelled the iTunes update, thinking I would look into another time. This morning when I start my PC, as part of the service, I received a pop-up box that follows:
"Unable to locate component APSDaemon.exe. This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. »
At this point, that I'm not sure that the application did not start OR should I try to install. First of all, I restarted the PC, thinking it was just a ghost in the machine, but during and after the reboot issue I had the same error popup box. Of course, this does not affect the ability to control Outlook, mail, or go on the Internet, but I'm afraid that someday when I need that MSVCR80.dll, I'm having a problem. Can someone well tell me what I need to be concerned about or do to fix this "missing" file number, which is also be aggravated to the population of iTunes? Thank you.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit with SP1. I tried to update Itunes and it told me that I needed to uninstall the current version and then reinstall. I did this several times without any problems. This time, when I uninstall it won't let me not uninstall Quicktime, Apple Application Support, or Apple update software.
When I try to uninstall Quicktime I get the following message. "A newer version of Quicktime is already installed. This cannont installation proceed so that the most recent version of Quicktime is installed".
When I try to uninstall the Application Support Apple and Apple update I get the message "the feature you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource."
I installed Revo Uninstaller and it has removed a from there, but Quicktime and Apple programs are always in my programs on my computer. When I try to reinstall Itunes it says I already have a newer version of Quicktime and do not complete the installation.
I'm completely frusterated. Help, please.
Thank you

Hard drive not found - installing WXP on Equium P200
Dear all
I have an Equium P200 with Vista. I decided to remove vista and install windows XP. I put the XP and it goes through a verification process, I guess. At the end of the audit and after I pressed the button to install XP, I get the message "hard drive not found on this computer. Help me with as I want to install XP, my laptop?
Concerning
REDAThe XP operating system could not find the HARD drive because you have not installed the Intel Matrix Storage Manager.
It is a SATA driver is needed t install the XP.During the operating system installation process, you will need to press the F6 key to include the external USB FDD drive SATA driver.
It you don t have a USB FDD drive then nLite software could be a solution.
PS; Search this forum for similar topics, because this has already been asked several times

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.
Method 1:
Download the DirectX from the Microsoft Web site and then try to install it on the system. Click on the link below.
Use DirectX Runtimes (August 2009)
Method 2:
I suggest you try a SFC scan. Follow the steps to perform a scan of the SFC.
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"
5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow , and then press enter
7. a message will appear stating that "the system of scanning will start"
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your XP CD for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.
For more details, see the article mentioned below.

I use Windows XP PRO Sp 3. I tried to open an iTunes download & got this message. "APSDaemon.exe that this application was able to start. Could not locate the component that msvcr.90.dll was not found. Re-installing may fix this problem. "
All this happened after I tried to install a new update Apple iTunes. He kept saying that he could not install... I tried several different things to solve this problem, including doing a system restore in frustration, for 2 days before today... I tried to update iTunes, not always the case. Help, I'm a no techno, so please do not just refer me to somewhere else, I will never understand what I'm told to do, whenever I am sent somewhere else, I can't solve my problem & give up in frustration. Please can someone take pity on me & guide me through the fix?
A related problem, I tried to run iTunes from the desktop, but I got was the Mini audio player.
I just tried to recreate that & got again the error messages, the one listed above main & another one that says "iTunes is not installed correctly. Please re - install. Error 7 (Windows error 126).
Whenever I try to re - install, I get the error again on the component .dll.
I hope that's enough info to try & help me. I really need this fix to work as I have many meditations downloaded on iTunes, because Windows Media Player could not open the files. It would take me hours & hours to find where they came, they were downloaded over 4 years!
Thank you in advance.
SylviaIf you have not had luck in iTunes (https://discussions.apple.com/community/itunes/itunes_for_windows?view=discussions#/?tagSet=1234) forum, uninstall and reinstall iTunes as described below:
To perform a "clean" iTunes installation uses this technique proposed, from Support of Apple HT1926 article. (If you are using Vista, see THIS instead).
Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
Remove these applications in the following order (do not restart your computer if you are prompted during this process):1 iTunes
2. Apple Software Update
3. Apple Mobile Device Support
4 Hello
5 Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)6. iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
7. iPod Updater
8 QuickTime
Open my computer > C: > Program Files
Delete these files (if present)
1 iPod
2 iTunes
3 QuickTimeFollow these steps if the message "cannot delete iPodService.exe: it is used by another person or program" appears when you try to delete the folder of the iPod.
- Make sure that you have iTunes and iPod Update utility are not open.
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
- Select Start Task Manager.
- Click the processes tab.
- Locate the iPodService.exe in the list.
- IPodService.exe-click and choose end process.
- Quit Task Manager.
Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab
Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OKOnce this file is empty, restart the computer
NOTE: If you have trouble uninstalling applications, or if you have a problem, reinstall iTunes because the installer complains that it can not uninstall the current version of iTunes, see the 'Installation issues' section below.
Download & reinstall iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Installation problems
There are several tools to deal with problems installing or uninstalling applications. If you have these problems, the following should help. Before using one of these tools (including #3), you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT). See http://windowsxp.mvps.org/registry.htm a complete disk image would be safer if you have this ability.
1 Microsoft has a program install and the resolution of the problems of the uninstalling which is supposed to "work better" and be "safer" to use the old Install Cleanup Utility (3 below).
2. free Revo Uninstaller. You can also download a trial version of uninstaller Revo's ' Pro', which has a few more aggressive cleaning options, but this should not be necessary.
3 Microsoft Windows Install Cleanup Utility. Although this tool has been the preferred tool to deal with the problems of Windows Installer, Microsoft removed from Microsoft download servers because it seems sometimes deleted more than he was supposed to (I believe this was linked to Office uninstall). You can still get Windows Installer Cleanup here--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html utility

I tried to install a shortcut to a Web site on my desktop, but when I try to use it, the popup says "application not found". How to solve this?
Have you already installed and unisntalled another browser?
When you install another browser and choose the default installation option, the program asserts itself as the default program. In Internet Explorer, check the menu Tools > Internet Options on the tab programs that the default web browser is set to Internet Explorer.
Go to control panel > programs > default programs and select "associate a file type or Protocol with a program. Scroll to the file under 'Name'.url extension and make sure that the default current is "Internet browser". Otherwise use the ' Change program... "button. »

Error "a newer version of quicktime is already installed" when you attempt to install QuickTime
I am running Vista as an administrator. I was running itunes version 8.03 for several months. When I went to upgrade to itunes 9.x, I started to have problems. the upgrade was unsuccessful. I then uninstalled quick time and itunes and all the other software Apple via the Control Panel, windows Install CleanUp and also delete the apple key in the registry under the local computer and the current user. I did a search on the computer and remove all apple, quick time and records of safari.
I have also created a new administrator user and tried to install through this user, without success, exact same results.
When I try to install itunes via the downloaded executable software I get the error «a newer version of quick time is already installed...» »
I spent several hours on the phone with Apple and they indicated that they believe that vista is now a registry entry somewhere for quick time that causes the problem. They suggested that I contact Microsoft.
At this point, I can't use my i touch and would like to get this resolved as soon as POSSIBLE.
Hello flybydug,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.
Apple should have been able to tell where, in the registry that QuickTime written in. However, review the information below.
1. go to C:\Program Files and delete the entire folder QuickTime.
2. click on start - search/search - all files and folders, select the hard disk (C :) to look in, type in QuickTime, and then click search / search when list files appear, click right on and remove any that you confirm are associated with QuickTime.)
3. Click Start, type regedit, and then click OK. Click on the + to:
Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software
In the software submenu, click directly on the entry of Apple Computer, then scroll for QuickTime, right-click and select Remove.Note: If you click on the + to the "entry of Apple Computer, it will grow and you should see"QuickTime"which are listed there.
4. exit regedit. It will save their output.
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Marilyn
