• HP Envy 17: HP Envy 17 Notebook Synaptics click & drag does not work

  My Synaptics-click & drag does not work. When I click on an icon it will highlight, then I click on the new icon and drag, and it do not drag. If I manual pushes the lower left corner of the Tablet and make it work. Sometimes it works but 90% of the time it does not work. The problem makes this laptop a laptop of poor and done really click and drag a pain.

  I deleted the driver and installed the latest driver HP Synaptics for my laptop than a couple of times and no luck. I even downloaded the Synaptics ' generic driver for win 8.1 "and it's worse. I can see why there are so many people not loving is not this Synaptics click on the button and I would certainly not buy another if this is not resolved. All other synaptics features work except this one.

  Figured it out. My mistake. Must click twice VERY quickly and hold to drag on the second. I have been to much too much time between clicks and it wouldn't hang in the window or icon. Hope this helps others who may have difficulty with this.

Click, click, click, click. then I click right button again and it stops. It's rly boring. I went on a normal USB mouse and it works if this isn't a problem with win 7.

  yesterday, I've updated like everything.

  NVIDIA, win7, chipset intel, new mouse and keyboard software microsoft, update virusprogram and scan, firewall updated.

  the first update was the new nvidia update. 1 hour later the problem, after that I've updated everything.

  I googled and used solutions of mozilla for safe mode, delete and create a new profile (deleted all files) disabled all the plugins. I discovered a problem where clicking on ask to activate does not drop down to select another option. I tried the plugins folder thought I could delete all the plugins and start again. Nothing I've tried has worked at all. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version. I noticed that the version installed is under program (x 86), which is where I thought that 32-bit applications are implemented? Anyway, even by selecting text on a page and right click does not work

  This problem may occur if one of the following conditions is met:

  ·         The %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\Wbem\framedyn.dll file is missing or damaged.

  -or-

  ·         The Windows Path environment variable does not point in % SYSTEMROOT%\System32\Wbem.

  To fix:

  Replace the Framedyn.dll file

  1. click on Startand then click run.

  2. in the Open box, type %systemroot%\system32\dllcache, and then click OK.

  3 right-click framedyn.dlland then click copy on the shortcut menu that appears.

  4. click on Startand then click run.

  5. in the Open box, type %systemroot%\system32\wbem, and then click OK.

  6. on the Edit menu, click Paste. If you are prompted to replace the existing file, click Yes.

  Check the System Variables

  1. click on Start, right-click my computerand then click Properties on the shortcut menu that appears. If you receive the following error message, click OK:

• Two fingers for secondary click tab does not work

  I had to create a new user profile, because in my old profile all the apple connected apps crashed when opening.

  My new user profile doesn't have this problem, but another: tab 2 fingers for secondary click does not work, even if it is selected in the trackpad options (System Preferences).

  I tried the usual off click / click back on, restart the computer, etc.. No change.

  Instead of secondary click, two fingers tab activates the scroll bar. I already disabled options scroll with two fingers, hoping that the problem would be a sort of interference, but again, no luck.

  Any ideas?

  I found my own solution and decided to publish it for anyone having a similar problem:

  When I activated the option "Ignore the trackpad when a mouse is connected" two-finger-click started working.

  I can't explain why (I do not use a mouse, so it shouldn't make a difference), but who cares, it works now.

  Right-click on an empty part of the desktop and click New and then click on shortcut and follow the prompts to create a shortcut you want.

  If it does not, locate the executable file of the program itself (probably somewhere in C:\Program Files and probably not that hard to find) and right click on this file and click on create a shortcut (desktop).

  If this does not work, go to start / / Desktop and click on the file menu and then click New and then click shortcut and follow the prompts to create a shortcut you want.

  I don't know any of these methods will work.

  P.S. If Burr is right about OE, you say you have Vista Home Premium and the above procedures should work with any version of Vista and quite well with just about any program file (even if only good program files will actually open programs rather than do nothing or do something completely different and perhaps unwanted).  No matter if you mixed up the name, or somehow found a way to install OE on Vista - procedures to create shortcuts should work (or at least one of them should).

  The SWF file is not supposed to be uploaded to a server or LMS as such: when you publish to SWF you get multiple files, not only the SWF file. Click right feature is integrated into the JS-companion file. You have to start the file HTML (same name as the name of the project), which called the JS file (and possibly the file dependent on the CSS version) and then launch the SWF file. Did you follow this workflow?

  You must uncheck "Accessibility" to provide right click functionality.

  Here it happens little differently. I explain the requirement properly. Suppose that the I am A screen where I have the ObjectChoiceField. I added a choice of X. Now, when I am pressing on the field of choice and selection, it must pass on the screen (B) but that the choice of the field is choice (X) only one, it is not mobile. Now if, after the addition of the choice of two X and Y, if I select go, it's going to screen B. But when again, the field of choice has 2 options X and Y with X as the default selection. There is therefore no chance for me to choose the X.

  Therefore, I have added a Select called default choice. Now, if X is added, field of choice is the choice of towing display: Select and X. And while choosing X, it moves on the screen B.

  Can someone help me out here?

  Well, I have a few quiz questions. If I don't have a shortcut on the button submit, it works fine. If I put 'Enter' on the button submit, I can't click on it. Yes, allow mouse clicks is checked.

  I wish that my users to be able to press enter or click.

  Cp8 running on win 8.1. Tried mode overview, as well as published in IE and Chrome.

  Feels like I'm going to lose my mind! I also tried with enabled accessibility and not. Not that it should make a difference, but I tried.

  Looks like I was victim of the transparent button again.  When I pass the quiz buttons to text or image, shortcuts on them work very well. Then they are transparent I have problems.  The nice thing about transparent, it's that you can color. Because you cannot use smartshapes as real quiz buttons (send, etc.) at least not that I know, I had to place a smart shape on the masterslide and overlay a text with 'make transparent' button selected on the top to make my buttons look AND behave properly. Adobe is now aware of the issue.

• Why some functions of "click on" does not work with Firefox and Ebay and my mailbox?

  When you go to my mail (especially Yahoo mail) I can't click on the boxes that allow me to delete or anything else. In addition, I can't hardly use Firefox at all with Ebay and other sites because of a similar problem. For example, the cursor will not change even a 'hand' on 'Sign In' on Ebay, or it will allow me to change the page number, if I have multiple items to sell or buy. I had to change all my Bill pay sites for IE for this same reason. You have any ideas? I am currently using Firefox 17.0.1.
