Qwest has stopped supporting my Windows Live Mail.

MY IP Qwest sent me an email yesterday saying that their meail would be the last to come to my Inbox on my Windows Live Mail program.  I called their tech support and they told me if I didn't the Qwest Hotmail program to get their hands on MS and pay $9.95 a year, then I lost them or they hung up.  What should I do to keep my Version of Windows Live Mail 2011?  Thanks, I hope you can help me
