R6300V2 and ReadyCloud

My (older) R6300V2 is compatible with ReadyCloud; in other words, can I create a ReadyCloud account and use it via the R6300V2 wireless router.

Back story: installed a RN212 ready NAS last March, but has not created the account of ReadyCloud during initial installation (the installation program has said that this could be done later). I would like to configure the ReadyCloud now, but not sure if the R6300V2 is compatible for the Support of Netgear page lists only the R6400 and higher routers.

Hi @blue52,

As it is, the only routers supported are those set out in the following support page.

Kind regards

When I try to navigate, it will just switch back and forth between the router and T. never drive sail down to the folders. I've already updated on behalf of netgear. • Nighthawk R8500, USB 3.0 Flash drive not recognized USB 3.0 Port, Port of only 2.0

My Nighthawk R8500 router with the latest firmware, V1.0.2.54_1.0.56, does not recognize my SanDisk Ultra Fit 128 GB USB 3.0 Flash drive when it is connected to the router USB 3.0 Port. The Ultra Fit is formatted in FAT32 and works fine when plugged into USB Port 2.0 router or my laptop.

At first, I thought maybe USB 3.0 Port on my router wasn't working at all, but it recognizes my SanDisk 16 GB Cruzer USB 2.0 Flash Drive that is also formatted FAT 32. Unfortunately both my laptop have USB 2.0 Ports, so I don't know if the problem is with the router or the Ultra Fit Flash Drive. Everyone knows about this problem of their Flash 3.0 player is not recognized in USB 3.0 Port their router, especially with a SanDisk Ultra Fit? This problem can be resolved through firmware? I'd really like to take full advantage of the speed of USB 3.0 as I like to share files through my router via ReadyShare and ReadyCloud.

Thanks in advance for any help, Carlos

Technical support with me. Installation of a updated firmware, V1.0.2.64_1.0.62, which became available shortly after my post, solved the problem. -Carlos

  • Block intruders

I have a router R6300v2 and I can't find the option to block or refuse a specified MAC address.

I have a coffee one I offer free internet service to my comments, but I need to deny access to Internet to specific users. I don't know how to do.

When I activate the function 'access list', I can't create a black list, I can create a whitelist.

  • Readycloud migration and upgrade Firmware

    Hi guys,.

I got the same email that others have had about the Readycloud account migration to a single account of Netgear.

I stopped using Readycloud to access because of inconsistencies with connections and now do things via Filezila without any problem.

Should he change on behalf of Netgeat? and what of the update of the firmware?

When I bought my camera in 2013 I put things up without problem, and the following year had notification of an update of the firmware. Duly updated and he missed so much that the only way I could get access to the NAS should return to 6.20. Since this bad experience, I did no updates that things work fine for my needs. I would rather not be updated if I don't have to.

Can't wait to hear the responses.

    Richard

If you do not use ReadyCLOUD, then you wouldn't need to install the update of the firmware immediately or upgrade your ReadyCLOUD account for a SINGLE authentication account.

However running such an old firmware as 6.2.0 missing a number of improvements, bugfixes, security fixes and other improvements.

    Hello @mondenath

The ReadySHARE already is EOL. The only way to access your files on the internet is with HTTPS or FTP.

About 20 seconds after you have entered the user name and password it simply says that registration has failed and that I should check my username and pw. I have now tried several times, chaning the password several times as well. Nothing works.

@Snailstick Can you try to log on to your account ReadyCloud now? This should be fixed now.

  • ReadyCloud App Destop - device is in offline mode after the update for today

    Hello

Today (2016-10-19) the app told me to update. After updating the application, it is always connect to my NAS at home (NAS ID is shown), but tells me that the SIN is in offline mode.

When it is remote to connect to my PC at home I can confirm ist NAS, running and shown in the local network. But even the local installed desktop app told me, that the SIN is on, but offline!

NAS is already rebbotet; App has been transformed into market. No change.

Did I already mention Netgears updates are made to the nightmare? :-/

    Thank you

    Christian

    Hi tkernaghan,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

But it is not necessary to re - establish additional folders to synchronize on your box and the PC. Please follow the steps below:

    1. uninstall the incorrect version of the ReadyCloud desktop application;

    2 download the right version on readycloud.netgear.com;

    3. install the version that is appropriate;

4 remove this file from your computer:
On MAC: Deleting the file / users / [logged in user] / Library/Application Support/ReadyCLOUD/ReadyCLOUD.pkg.version
On windows: delete this file C:\Users\[logged in]\AppData\Local\Temp\ReadyCloudSetup.exe

All folders that you have previously synchronized would still be there after you install the correct version. No need to configure the synchronization again.

    Thank you

  • ReadyCloud users do not see the contents of shared folders

    Hi all

As long as user ReadyCloud with read/write access I can't see the contents of shared folders. (See photo).

If I login with the user admin of ReadyCloud although I see the content in the shared folders.

Is this a known issue? Can someone help with this diagnosis?

    Firmware: 6.5.2

I checked with the NETGEAR support

They should be for the suite of measures:

-Check the DNS entries, add 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.2.2

-Let ReadyCLoud and join. Invite users.

Finally I "Reset permissions" on the tab "File access" to all shared folders. It worked for me!

  • READYNAS using Readycloud Desktop App - incremental backup?

    Hi guys,.

Have been using my ReadNAS for some time and it is great, just recently tried the application backup on ReadyCloud and the conclusion that it is always indexing or download.

Just test it with a single file that contains the data of 6 GB. I wish a backup where only files updated the incremental was saved but it seems index of all of the directory and then download the entire dam every time thing!

    Am I missing something here?

I use Windows Desktop App 10.

If the ReadyCloud desktop application can't make incremental backups, to suggestions for an alternative?

    Thank you.

Of course, just used Windows file historical, not good for off site however as a NAS device is in the same office, it is fine for now.

    See you soon

    Grateful for any advice.

  • ReadyNAS 102 and 5 BT business hub

    Hello world

I moved to BT Business Monday. I have connected my ReadyNAS 102 and I can access it ok on my mac via the finder and Explorer on my Windows PC 10.

The problem I have is when I have access to the net via readycloud.neatgear.com. The unit will display offline.

I have disabled the firewall on the BT Business Hub 5, but he was showing always offline.

I can log in as admin ok when I connect via IP address directly.

Can someone tell me what I need to do?

    Thanks in advance.

He fixed everyone - the readynas has the old IP configured DNS.

  • Hide the share of ReadyCloud?

Hi, I have ReadyCLOUD works perfectly on my RN104 but I wonder if it is possible to hide certain actions or the cloud records, as being able to access it from LAN (Windows 8.1), while maintaining access to all the rest.

What I've tried so far is delete permissions to my user readycloud of shares, with no luck, because I can't uncheck permissions of read/write for the user of such cloud. I tried this from the local administration page and page Web ReadyCloud.

I also tried to remove all SMB network with the exception of this sharing protocols, but still can go perfectly with ReadyCloud.

    Thank you!

Are you trying to hide the folder/part of the guest user? Or are you trying to hide from your account (owner?)?

If it's a guest user then Anne vazart and JennC has valid article that you are looking for to correct the behavior.

If you are referring to your account with the account owner, then there isn't an option to allow you to hide the actions. Since you are the owner, you are considered to be the admin who will have more visibility than your guest users.
