  I can only find the ISO Images for 5.0 (4.1). But none for 5.1. Unfortunately the original ISO Vmware image will not work because it does not find a NETWORK card in my Dell R420.   The problem: after the successful online update of ESXi 5.1 Update 2 Patch 5 (2000251) in ESXi 5.1 update 3 (2323236) the ESXi server cannot be crazy, or it can ping to the outside network, so she doesn't have to reconnect to the VCenter server.

  Today I updated to version 515841 to 623860, apparently, the update was successful.

  However, I noticed something very annoying - the host is no longer automatically starts or stops invited as configured. I tried to turn the feature on and outside, moved to guests to "Manual start" then back to "Auto-start" - with various combinations of these parameters, also restarted host between changes. But, alas, no luck.

  In the list of "Recent tasks" appears in vSphere Client, the Auto Power On tasks as completed, launched by root, with 'Start Time' and 'End time' with the same timestamp. The server log reports the following error (3rd line below):

  Yes, it's a bug.  It only affects people running the free hypervisor.  Not aware of a fix/workaround yet...

  I'm trying to understand how to configure a dedicated server of Dell R210 rented running VMware ESXi 5.1.0 build-799733

  ESXi 4.1 disc limit is 2 TB less than 512 bytes, ESXi 4.1 will not recognize more than 2 TB, check for other options as well.
